Dreamlandia is an architectural project inspired by eco-brutalism, aiming to promote sustainability and resource conservation. They implement communal housing and individual plots, allowing citizens to live in communal housing until they find a companion and are given a plot of land. Each individual is trusted to use their land wisely, and if needed, they can build upward to expand. Dreamlandia believes that housing is a global right and essential for a prosperous society. In keeping with the desire to coexist rather than dominate our environment, Dreamlandia draws upon architectural movements like eco-brutalism that promote sustainability and the conservation of resources. We recognize that land on Earth is finite, which is why Dreamlandia implements communal housing as well as individual plots. Once a citizen has left the home of their parents, they will live in communal housing. If and when they find a companion with whom they want to form a unit, they will be given a plot of land. They may cultivate the land however they wish, so long as they are not wasting or over-consuming its resources. Each individual is trusted to make the right decisions as far as making the most of their plot of land. If a unit wishes to expand their space, they can build upward. Dreamlandia believes that housing is a global right and that guaranteed housing is a necessary component of a prosperous global society.
