The speaker, Ovio Ayola, apologizes for the delay and encourages listeners to find peace amidst their struggles. He reads from Mark 4:37-41, where Jesus calms a storm. Ayola assures listeners that God cares about their problems and will bring calm to their lives. He urges them to have faith and remember the miracles God has performed in the past. Ayola concludes with a prayer for peace and reassurance that God is with them. Hello, good morning and welcome to Start Right With Jesus. My name is Ovio Ayola and my prayer is that the Almighty God will bless you greatly today as you listen in Jesus name. My own reserve apologies for a long stop. It's been a bit hectic, but no excuses. Please accept my sincere apologies. Today, I don't know what you are passing through. I know what I am passing through and you probably know what you are passing through. But in whatever you are passing through that I am passing through, there is one word from God that is very loud and clear today and that word is peace be still. Peace be still. And our Bible reading will be from Mark chapter 4 verse 37 to 41. It reads, And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But he was in the stand asleep on a pillow, and they awoke him and said to him, Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing? 39 Then he arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Peace be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 But he said to them, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? 41 And they feared exceedingly and said to one another, Who can this be that even the wind and the sea obey him? Today, this morning, we will both be talking about this verse and praying. The message is very, very simple. Whatever the storm that is raging in your life now, wherever it is being orchestrated from, whether it's coming from the wind, whether it's coming from the sea, whether it's coming from the fire, every source of the storm, there is someone that is standing and stretching out his hand. He's saying, Peace be still. And you are wondering, why is God asleep on my matter? You are wondering, why is God resting on a pillow? When it looks as if I'm about to drown and this boat is already filling, all I can see around me is that trouble is looming. I want to assure you, it's not that he does not care. Verse 38 says, Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing? God cares that you are perishing. He cares about you and you will not perish. And that is why when he arose, he rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Peace be still. God is going to arise in your matter today. God is going to rebuke the wind and every source of the wind today. God is going to speak to your sea. That place from where your troubles are coming, that place of deep sorrow, that sea, the one that is raging, the one that is billowing, that one that is blowing, God is saying, Peace be still. And immediately he said it in verse 39. The Bible says, The wind ceased and there was great calm. Now, it's not just that the wind ceased. There was a great calm everywhere where you have been troubled, where you have been troubled. The word of God to me, the word of God to you today is that the wind will cease and there will be great calm. But even after he has ceased the wind and there is great calm, God has a question for you. God has a question for me. And that question is, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? Because if you remember, these same disciples, they have seen many miracles before. They have seen many miracles before now. It was not the first time they have seen miracles. They have seen the miracles, so many miracles. They have seen the miracle of the catching of the fish when there was no fish to catch in the past. They have seen the miracles of eyes being opened for the blind. They have seen the miracles of God intervening in the affairs of jets. By the time they faced the wind, by the time they faced the storm, they forgot all the miracles that God has done in the past. And that was why when David came to the face of Goliath, he said, The God that delivered me from the mouth of the bear and from the mouth of the lion, he will deliver me from the paw of the bear, from the paw of the lion. He will deliver me from the hands of this uncircumcised philistine. I don't know where the source of your trouble is coming from. I don't know what is the Goliath that is facing you. All I have for you is that the God that delivered you before, the God that delivered me before, he is alive, he is well, he is energetic, he still has power and he will do it again. And that is why I just want to say to you wherever you are now and wherever I am, wherever you are now, that God is saying, Peace be still. So today we are going to be praying shortly, just for one minute. And that prayer is Father, every source of the storm that is raging upon my life, that is threatening to sink my boat, every source of the storm that is raging in my life, the one that is already filling my boat, I command peace be still. I command peace be still. I command peace be still in accordance with your word. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord God Almighty, do not slip over my matter and rise for me today, Lord God Almighty. God, refresh forth your hand and say to the source of my wind, to the source of my storm, peace be still. And so shall it be for you, so shall you be for me, so shall it be in the name of Jesus. Whatever is troubling you today, the word of God is loud and clear, peace be still. God bless you. Till we meet again, by the very special grace of God, it's me Ovi Ayola saying, peace be still, start right with Jesus. God bless you.
