The Graveyard Shift is a podcast that focuses on music, particularly African music. The host, Tumi, reviews and comments on different tracks and artists. One band he recommends is Sauti Soul, a Kenyan-African pop band that combines African beats with contemporary sounds, and features international collaborations. Tumi especially likes their track "My Everything" featuring India Arie. She encourages listeners to give it a listen and share their thoughts with her on Twitter. Overall, Tumi had a great time discussing music on the podcast and looks forward to the next episode. My name is Tumi and welcome to the Graveyard Shift. I'm going to be talking about the latest in music. I'll be paying particular attention to music coming out of Africa because that's my home and I feel like so much music goes unnoticed. This is just supposed to be light-hearted entertainment, some reviews and commentary, nothing too serious. I'll even toss in a little bit of live drama banter in there because what's my life without drama? This is The Graveyard Shift. Welcome. What's up everybody, my name is Tumi Tladi, and welcome to another episode of The Graveyard Shift. Sauti Soul is a Kenyan-African pop band. The music is absolutely awesome. It keeps true to the African beats but then they've collaborated with some international artists and they've got some international producers on there so it's something which I think is definitely worth a listen. Another track which I really liked was My Everything featuring India Arie. Anyone who knows me knows I love India so My Everything is definitely a good track to listen to. It's still modern and you can still move to it and you can still, you know it's a disco track, Afro beats, like it's everything. Beautiful film, I love it. Give it a listen, reach out to me on Twitter, let me know what you think, if you love it, what you love about it, what songs stick out for you and what they mean for you. But yeah, just have fun with it and dance. I like to do a solo dance by myself and this was one of those albums which I can definitely do that too. That's our show for today, thank you so much for joining me. It's been absolutely fantastic just talking through this music because I love this album. My name is Tumi and don't forget to tune in next time. Bye for now. This episode of The Graveyard Shift podcast was brought to you by Tumelo Media, music courtesy of freemusicarchive.org.
