The Manson family cult, led by Charles Manson, was known for its violence and cruelty. Manson manipulated and controlled vulnerable young women, convincing them he was a manifestation of Jesus Christ. He believed in an imminent apocalyptic race war and trained his followers to fight. The cult fell apart after a series of murders, including the death of Sharon Tate. Manson was sentenced to 40 years in prison and died in 2017. The media accurately portrayed Manson as a monstrous figure. The Manson's family cult is one of the most violent, cruel, and disgusting cults of all time. Who is Charles Manson? How did he start the family's cult? The cult leader of the Manson's family is Charles Miles Manson, who was born on November the 12th, 1934, and was cast away on November the 19th, 2017. Charles Manson was severely antisocial, and he had psychopathic tendencies which made him manipulate and control others with no emotion or remorse. He was also in and out of prison throughout his life. Charles Manson realized from prison in 1967 and formed the Manson family cult. When Charles Manson's cult began, it mainly targeted young women from middle-class backgrounds. The majority of these women were attracted to the hippie culture lifestyle. This made them more vulnerable for Charles Manson to manipulate and control. Charles Manson was so manipulative that he managed to make his cult members believe that he was a manifestation of Jesus Christ. This further convinced his followers to trust and believe in him. According to member Susan Atkinson, the members of the family became convinced that Manson was a manifestation of Jesus Christ and believed in his prophecies concerning an imminent apocalyptic race war. When a cult was in its early days, they held out an old run-down ranch located in Los Angeles County. Eventually, due to wildfire in September 1970, the ranch was burned down. Charles Manson believed an apocalyptic war was upon him and his followers, He trained them in fighting so his cult could defend him from the war he believed was inevitable. Eventually, Charles Manson's cult fell apart after a string of murders that began in August 1969. It began with the death of Sharon Tate, who was murdered at the age of 26. Sharon Tate was reportedly stabbed 16 times, shot, beaten and eventually hung to death. This murder spree eventually caught up with Charles Manson and he was sentenced to 40 years behind bars. In 2017, at the age of 83, Charles Manson ultimately died of cardiac arrest. The Charles Manson cult has been portrayed by the media as one of the most violent cults of all time. Hundreds of articles have been written about this tragedy, with them all depicting the monstrous mind of Charles Manson. We believe Charles Manson was accurately represented by the media.
