They describe their creative process and their commitment to continue creating content independently. Gio credits YouTube as a valuable resource for learning and refers to it as the "people's library." They express gratitude to their viewers for supporting their channel. It is estimated that about 85% of us owns a smartphone. This little technological gadget, which not only fits in our pocket, but allows us to phone home and do much more, eliminating our need to carry around about 50 other ridiculous gadgets. Actually, eliminating our need to own a TV, to go out to the movies, or to head down to the library to do some serious research on our neighbors. These nifty little gadgets connected to the unfathomable huge internet, and more specifically, this worldwide YouTube website, provides us with an incredible world of information and all kinds of entertainment, and none of it costs us a dime. Hi, I'm Gio, also known as the Filipino Joe, a self-proclaimed multi-talented creative genius who creates a wide variety of videos for YouTube, including spontaneous comedies, practical self-help, documentaries, and worldly advice for those interested in living overseas. I've been on YouTube for a million plus years, and over that time, I've grown a little bigger, matured a lot, gotten a little grayer, and bumped the quality of my videos up a notch. This is something I'm not only proud to claim, but something I am committed to continuing to do for the next million years. My creative process goes something like this. Whenever I get a new idea for a video, I do the least amount of research possible, write a brilliant script, film the video footage, or collect some free stock footage, edit everything down to a tee, and then upload it here on YouTube. Doing all of this work can take me anywhere from a few hours to what seems like forever. Occasionally, I get help creating my videos, but oftentimes, I run a one-man circus. Being an independent artist, I don't ever want to rely on others to bring my creative ideas to fruition. That's why I've always been hell-bent on learning how to do it all myself, from conception to creation to genetic editing. And can you guess where I learned how to do a lot of what I do? Right here on YouTube. I often refer to YouTube as the people's library because it's a great place to hang out, relax, be entertained, and most importantly, increase your IQ. I appreciate you being here, for watching my videos, leaving your awesome likes, comments, sharing, and most of all, for subscribing to my channel. Thanks a lot. Till next time, take care.
