And my name is Jeff. And Amber. And we've been talking about doing this for a very long time. We have. Like, I'm saying a couple years. It has been a couple. And we kept saying, hey, let's do a podcast. But we didn't know what to call it. We just thought it'd be kind of cool. Because we've seen a lot of things. We've done a lot of things. We've made a lot of mistakes. We've done great things. And so we thought, you know, it'd be kind of fun to share some of our story. And the way that we look at things. The way that we've kind of just processed things. And so here we are. Our first episode of the Everyday Couple Show. And I am excited to do this. I know. It's going to be pretty cool. Because we did finally settle on it. We finally did. The Everyday Couple. The Everyday Couple Show. Because we're an everyday couple. Yeah, we're just an ordinary couple. There's nothing special, fancy about us. And I believe we have a lot to offer. And so we want to share with you. And I thought it'd be a great idea for our first episode to talk really just about us. Why are we doing the Everyday Couple Show? And so let's just talk a little bit about us. Yeah. We've been married for 22 years. We have been married for 22 years. In October. Yes. October. We are 22 years. So that's exciting. And then we have three kids. Three kids. Malachi, Abby, Elijah. 22. No. 21. 21. Gosh. He'll be 22 in July. So. Let's not think about that right now. I know. 21, 20, and 18. And 18. Yes. And they live in Bend, Oregon. Two of them live in Bend. One lives in Northern California. But yeah. And then we're going to be talking about ... Hang on. We have to edit this. Okay. So on this episode, we'll talk about ... Okay, no. Sorry. Hey, this is our very first episode. I'll just do this here just so I know. We are finally here. The Everyday Couple Show, episode one. Episode one. We've been talking about it for years. We started a podcast. Yes. But we've been talking about it for years. We have been talking about it for a while. And we didn't know what to call it. No, we didn't even know what we were going to talk about. We were driving, and this is kind of funny. Before we kind of get into the episode, we kind of pretend we were on a podcast in the car a few times, and we started laughing. That's right, because we were like, wouldn't it be funny if we talked about this? Or wouldn't it be funny if we talked about that? And then we were just kind of doing some role playing, and that was kind of fun. And then we started laughing, and then we started being stupid. But hey, it's here, the very first episode of The Everyday Couple Show. And really, it's just like the title, The Everyday Couple Show. We're just an everyday, average couple. Ordinary couple. That both work full-time jobs. We raised three kids. We'll talk about that in a second. Yeah. And we just go through the ordinary stuff that most of you guys are going through, and we want to support you, and we want to love on you. And the only best way to do that is just kind of tell you where we've been, where we're going, the stuff that we've gone through. Yeah. So The Everyday Couple Show, we're going to be talking about a few things. Yeah, we're going to talk about marriage. We're going to talk about marriage. Yes. Because you've been married for? 21 years. You're 22 in October. That's right. That's exciting. And then we've been talking about parenting. Yes. Because we just shared about our kids, so we're going to talk about parenting. Okay. And then finances. Yes. You know, fun thing about finances is- And debt. Yeah. Yeah, we've got debt-free. We have gotten debt-free. It was pretty awesome. But because we got debt-free, obviously we went in-debt before we got debt-free. It's true. We had to go in-debt to get out of debt. Yes. I would recommend that way. And then we got into- And then we got into debt again, and we're in the process of getting our debt paid off. And so we're going to talk about that. Yes. How we budget. How we go through that. And then we want to talk about mental health. Yes. Mental health. And that is your field, right? Mental health is my field, so we'll get into some things about mental health, which will be fun. Yep. And then we're going to talk about relationships. All types of relationships.
