The podcast hosts discuss their experiences playing Warzone and their thoughts on the weapons and gameplay. They mention the new map and its potential, but feel it's too early to give a full opinion. They also talk about the addition of a new player to Optic Dead Zone and praise his skills. The hosts express their excitement for upcoming news in the HCS. What is happening, people? Welcome back. Episode 6, TeamNade Podcast. We're a day behind schedule here. There's some stuff outside our control, but we are back nonetheless. I'm here today with MrCraigForbes98. What are you saying, bro? How's it going? I am living the dream. Living the dream? That's good to hear, man. It's been a good weekend. Lots on the old YouTube, not the Twitch anymore, to watch. Oh, yeah. There's a talking point right there. There's always a talking point. You know, it's been a busy week, both during the week and the weekend. Yeah. How about you? Are you doing good? Yeah, I'm not too bad, man. I'm not too bad. Some big news out of the halo this week. Situations are changing very quickly, but before we get into that, I just wanted to ask you. Notice you've been on the war zone with a couple of different heads this weekend. What are you saying about it, bro? What's your initial impressions? First day. First day was an amazing day. It was a banger day. It was an amazing day, right? Is that three for five? Three for five? Yeah, three wins out of five. One in doubles and two in trios. Fantastic day. Didn't finish below third and didn't have less than 10 kills each. Fantastic day. Day two, I was ready to quit. I was ready to give up entirely because that shit just didn't want to work. Nah, man. I feel like it got super, like, literally, like the first couple of lobbies, first five lobbies that we were in were like, oh, this is like super fun. And then like golf got on the next day and it was just like, oh, here are the rats. The game was closed. The SPMM was like, oh, that's wrong. We forgot these guys. We need to rectify this situation. We don't do that right. Well, here you go. Here's the actual people you're supposed to be playing the biggest sweaters you've ever met in your world. Oh, and also none of the servers work properly because we're just going to let you jitter around for the rest of the fucking day. Yeah. But it's starting to come back slowly where we're getting back into the flow of it, understanding what we're supposed to be doing, where we're meant to be, where not to be, because everybody's a rat. Yeah. Slowly whittling out all the broken guns, such as the MQZ two shot. Hmm. I mean, it's a DMR from the original, from Warzone one to shame. I saw a tweet earlier and it was saying, um, I saw it and I was like, actually, I feel like that's not a terrible point of view. Um, but basically they were saying that obviously traditionally in Warzone, you have one gun, which is just better than everything else. Yeah. I mean, like, um, so like it was the, the M4 in the original Warzone, then it was the growl and then it went something else. And then the DMR turned up down the line. And then there was the shot ease and the max 10. I, you know what I mean? I was like these, like, it was difficult to find someone that wasn't using the quote, unquote OPM. Um, I mean, and the, this tweet was saying basically that like the matter technically is in a good place because obviously like, if you want to use a full or weapon, you got the Bosby. Yeah. If you want to use a burst weapon and you've got the DG, if you want to snipe, like that's a possibility, like there's three or four different secondary weapons that you can run that are all incredibly viable. You know what I mean? And if you can, if you're a single shot merchant, then you've got the MCZ. I mean like that two shot thing, like, yeah, it's kind of, it's kind of broken, but like relies on you hitting heads. You know what I mean? All right. But it's a two shot headshot with three plates, but then it goes to a three shot, four shot body. Yeah. But you've got, you, you've got like, if you want to get that maximum thing out of it, you've got to hit the head. You never mind. Like the Bosby kills in like five bullets or something stupid. You know what I mean? Something like that. It's like five or six. Like, you know what I mean? Like it's, um, close. Yeah. I've seen the people with the, like the, the, the new stock Bosby bill for the SMG. Yeah. I would, I don't know. It's unethical. No stock Bosby is fun, bro. One thing I would disagree with, um, with how they've got the game set up is yes, there's the one shot sniper, but it is only one single sniper, which I feel like the new one, they added in, but the DLC, that one should also one shot because it's a hundred percent, a hundred percent because it's the same caliber. You know what I mean? It does look sick. I'll give you that. Especially with the, it's so nice. Fair enough. The, the inhibitor and the long bow, because they're semi-auto 30 bullets that I'm like, like, fair enough. You can't have that one shot and focus on stupid. They're like, if it's a bolt action, low magazine, you'd think, Oh, let's make it a one shot. Yeah, exactly. I mean, I was watching a video earlier and you can still one shot with the MCPR and the, I can't remember what it is, what the actual name of it is, but it's the intervention. Oh, yeah, yeah. I know. It's an FJX. FJX Imperium. That's the one, but obviously like you have to have the explosive rounds on it and that cat AMR pushes like 1100 meters a second velocity. Obviously with the explosive rounds, you kind of like, was it like 800, 700, maybe even 600. That's like, I mean, it's, it's doable. It's possible. It's just not viable. Yeah. It's just very, very difficult to do. You know what I mean? I mean, I suppose it makes it more skillful technically, but it's always been skillful. But yeah, that's the thing, man. Like, you know, you get what literally like you, you're a disadvantage compared to everyone else. Cause if you're like fighting someone straight up one on one, like in a pitch gunfight, like that's a difficult shot to her. Yeah. I've seen calls for the one shot snipers to be taken out. It's like, they just need to be in though. Like they just have to, it's better. Yeah. It's adds a little bit of, um, skill expression. Yeah. I think just now, I think it's too early to, to give full opinions on map and how it plays because it's only been less than a week. What did they come out Wednesday? Yeah. Something like that. Um, no Thursday, Thursday, Wednesday, last week, Wednesday, last week he came out. So it's too early to, to be like, this is where it ranks compared to the rest of them. And yada, yada, yada. Cause there's still, there's so much more to be played and we're going to have this a whole entire year, but yeah, that's the thing. Like we can, we can get, um, more into this at a later date when we've like, when, when it's kind of like understand the map, like the matters kind of solidified. Like we like, because I think the other thing as well is like at the moment we don't know what sort of direction the devs want to take the game in. Yeah. I mean, so it's, it's like, you know, yeah. Having fun at the moment, but if they suddenly decide they want everyone running around with like a very specific type of weapon system and it's like, and you don't vibe with it. Like if the shotguns come back into rotation, for example, like if shotguns are mad, I know you, you hate shotguns. So it's like, I love them. Like, yeah, exactly. You just walk into a doorway and hold down the trigger and you're like, yeah. And there's two fully auto shotguns. Like I don't need that in my life. Especially when they've got fire rounds on them. Like I don't need that in my life. Just get better, bro. Just get better. Just run a peeler. It'll be showing. Well, that's at the end of this podcast. I'm going to deal with you if you're running around with a fire shot and tell them to get better. That's not happening. Yeah. Watch when I dropped 25, bro, with the fire shot. You've never dropped 25. No, I know. That's why I'm using a fire shot, bro. You're not listening. Even with the fire shot, you didn't drop 25. Yeah. But that's because I was playing on like a 42 inch TV. You know what I mean? I had that headset that comes with the Xbox where you have like one ear. The one where it plugs in. Yeah. Game audio coming out of the TV. Like you boys are in only my left ear. No facial awareness. Bro, before we get into this, I remember when I got my first set of Astros, right? The A40s. And like literally the first game that I played with them, I was like, I can actually like know what's going on around me. You know what I mean? Literally, I was just like, oh, there's like, I got like, before I'd just get killed by people I know and be like, why don't I know he's there? Like, how did he know I was there? What is going on? And then it's just like, oh, right. Because you can hear my loudest fuck footsteps. That's how I know. That's how he knew I was there. Because now I know he's there because he's also stomping around the map. You know what I mean? But anyway. Wearing out your TV. Yeah. Literally, bro. You can't hear it over the sound of like fucking precision airstrikes and like people just busting off like 150 round belts. When I say people busting off shots, PKMs, I was people. That was me. 100% of the time. Love the PKM. And random enough fucking cars when they do it. Exactly. Anyway, right. Are you ready, bro? Let's get into it. We got a lot to discuss there this week. Yeah, let's get, let's get this. Big news. The HCS, some massive news out of the HCS. Absolutely. So first order of business and you must be asked about this. Oh yes. Optic dead zone confirmed. He's here. Let's go. What are we saying about optic dead zone, bro? What an improvement from APG. Now, as much as I understand, APG has been a good, is a good player. Has been for many years. And as a veteran in the scene, that's all well and good. But the new addition and the new upgrade to dead zone is unbelievable. I remember watching that first, well, the first time you ever put me onto the HCS and watching that and it was SSG versus optic. We're like the two main teams. Cloud nine. Oh yeah. Sorry. Cloud nine at that time before they changed over dead zone, also known as penguin at that time was the, one of the scariest people to actually still have left alive because he just seemed unkillable. That's the thing, man. He's, he's just so like, he's just so good. Like he's just a complete player. Yeah. I mean like completely, completely selfless in his OBJ ability. But at the same time, like he can main slay with the best of them. And at the same time, he's got an absolutely disgusting sniper rifle. You know what I mean? I, and he's also like super smart. Like he understands the flow of the game is positioning and say, like, you know what I mean? Like he is just the complete article. Like there was times when I was watching optic and watching APGs. If he was fair enough, the way they were set up, he was more, he was more of like the, the front man, objective player, but I never felt really confident with them winning gunfights. And I mean, yeah, no, I get you. Me personally, he always felt like the week, the weaker link in that, in that team. Yeah. It might be an off, off hand thing to say because he's been at the top level for how many years? Like, I get that. Yeah. A long time. He's been playing for now. Yeah. Just a personal opinion from my side. Anyway. I just think that like, it's just going to make them a way more complete team. You know what I mean? I feel like, like now, like with, with APG, because of APGs own specific play style, they obviously like had to play in a very specific way to try and accommodate everyone in the squad. Right. So that system had to work through very specific things. And when it did work, they were incredibly good, but when it didn't work, they really struggled. You know what I mean? And I feel like now with dead zone, AKA penguin, AKA, well, she's been called sub zero. Um, I think like the system will be able to adapt. They'll be able to take on more chat, like, you know what I mean? Like they'll be able to like really work through progressions to like overcome more challenges in the game. Um, and especially now considering the matter shift and I would expect phase to kind of set the pace early in the year because of the type of players that they have and the type of players that those have been historically, especially in single shot matters. Um, I really think that like optic will be able to keep up with them. No, you know what I mean? Which is, which is great. The question is do you think that they are able to challenge slash knock off phase from the top spot? Because obviously every, every roster change at the end of the year is trying to knock off the top dog. They tried to adapt to make it better. Their team better to knock off the top dog. Do you think obviously phase did it last year, bringing in who they brought in to knock off optic, which worked, but do you think that this year that could be the reverse leg? I mean, like it's, it's a difficult question because on the one hand phase have got the number one, two and three KDs in the league, I think still all on the same team. That's insane, right? You know how much like, I absolutely love role to renegade frosty and snake bites an incredibly good player as well. You know what I mean? So it's like individually, I still think that phase might have the edge. Okay. But on, you know, on the flip side, lucid's a godlike player. Trippy is really good. Formal. I don't know if you've seen any of four dreams recently. That guy does not mess with the bond that he didn't miss with a DMR, but he is not missing with the bandit rifle, but he's not missing with this one. Like, you know what I mean? And then you've got dead zone who in terms of like mechanical skill, I would say is a massive improvement over APG. Yeah. It's kind of, you know, it's, it's kind of one of them. Like I'm not sure. Um, but obviously dead zone joining optic leaves a massive gap in another one of the top three things. And as of the time of recording, I do not think they've announced that fourth player, which is to be fair. If like the time that we're currently recording this, we could have an announcement mid record. I've just gone and checked and they still haven't announced it. Yeah. But what I, what I mean is APG's announcement yesterday, which you'll get Yeah. Came late. Yeah. Came about 10 o'clock our time. Yeah. Oh yeah. No, this is true. Yeah. We will still be in recording at that time. So it could be a mid midstream breaking news, but we'll wait and see. I have got a roundup of the latest rumors regarding the SSG four. Well, you know, now if you, if long time listeners of the podcast will remember that a couple of weeks ago, I went to Europa, Halo, Blackpool. Yeah. All right. After I came back, I spoke at great length about, I know my own personal conspiracy theory about why bound was there because who goes on holiday to Blackpool. That was the key factor in this side. That was the if bound just really likes going to run down Victoria and seaside towns, then may, it was like three degrees and rain and windy. So not even those boys are that cruel to the donkeys. I mean, they're pretty close to the donkeys, but they're not that cruel to the donkeys mostly because they don't want to be outside with them. Um, but so the top two names that I'm seeing mentioned are legend from quadrant. And there's been some more things that would lead me to believe in a switch might be incoming. Um, and I think streets were saying tollic from native red or used to be on the native red roster. Um, they released their roster and we'll get to that organization in a second. I would, I would absolutely love to see legend. The kind of the down SSG legend would be insane. The downside to that is the fact that, um, whilst legend can speak English, obviously as a second language, it is, um, not perfect, they didn't come as natural to them as speaking French and obviously quadrant and all French roster that call out to super slick. Yeah. Whereas with SSG, maybe it would take him a while, but I mean, we've already seen what happens when an American team signs a French player, you know what I mean? That can't speak English very well. And then they end up winning a championship. Yeah. So it depends on what type of person he is, if he can quickly adapt to it. Yeah. I mean, I'm like, I would, I would like bound in terms of like bounds play styling, like his development as a player, he's become a completely more like, like when he signed for SSG or cloud nine back in the day, he was such a raw talent and they've kind of nurtured it and pushed it in a certain direction that I would hope that they could potentially do the same thing with legend. Um, if it came down to that, solid, I don't really know a lot about solid guy. Um, obviously like native red was a good team. They were solid and they were around that, like four to six area. I would say this is like, you know what I mean? Um, he's a very capable player. Don't get me wrong. I've just, I don't personally know that much about him, his play style, like what he's good at, what he's not good at, like the type of player he is, anything like that. Yeah. I don't think he could bring to the table, but if they did pick him up, he would also be an incredibly solid pickup. Like, you know what I mean? Um, I think, I feel like they're running out of time to pick or like to sort it out. You know what I mean? Cause by now it's really, they'll have the new, like the players that people want to keep the off contracts in place or being in place. A hundred percent. I think the other thing is as well as like, obviously there's, um, sorry, something weird just pops up on my screen. Um, there's still quite a few free agents out there on the market. Yeah. So, you know what I mean? So you've got, um, barcode is apparently available now to play in any, um, because these are issues. So our barcode would be an amazing pickup for any team. Uh, cause he is just that good. Uh, you have some buttons obviously did very well on native white last season. I would love to see him stay in any, um, Ryan Uber and rain, both free agents. Although I imagined they would come as a package, um, rather than you signed one or the other. And to be honest with you, I don't see SSG picking up Ryan. I don't think he's the sort of player that they would want. No. Um, because whilst he's very good and very capable, his tendency to want to play the game in a certain way, I think would directly clash with anybody on the system that they already have because the system they already have works. You know what I mean? So why don't you pick up a player that you're going to have to pick a player that is going to fit in seamlessly? You know what I mean? I'm both the legend. I'm tolic would do that because they're both that like fast paced, aggressive type of guy. You know what I mean? Um, so you mentioned that a bit ago, APG, an absolute shocker, but also not a shocker. Um, I feel like we spoke about this before when Neptune announced he was returning to the HCS, but the new native red roster is it's not, it's just native gaming. So is it native game? And I remember they got rid of, they had written it, but they got rid of the, they've reduced it down to just the one. Yeah. So native gaming is now Neptune, APG, McQuinn and collect. And I am excited to see this team. I think this is going to be an amazing team. Yeah. I think they're going to be really fun to watch. I'm not sure how, like, obviously they're going to be compared, but I think a lot of their competitiveness is going to hang on Neptune specifically. Like, you know what I mean? How quickly can Neptune pick up the little intricacies of the game? Now, like obviously Neptune was pro in Halo five. He was a pro player. He's already, I feel like you can't really take this into account. But like, he's already like a ridiculously high rank in Halo. You know what I mean? He's obviously going to have access to these top tier eight lobbies. Like he'll be scrimming with the boys. Like, you know what I mean? So it's like, it's not like he's not getting the reps in like you will need to, but also everyone that he's going to be playing against is going to be getting these super high level reps for two years whilst he's been doing his other things. You know what I mean? So it's how quickly can he pick this show up? Yeah. How quickly do you think you can adapt and take it on board and actually utilize it to the best of his ability? It's not like he's a talented lad. Yeah. A hundred percent. He's really good. Like he's disgusting, but it's like how, how will he be able to get his ability quickly? Like, is he going to hit the ground running? Is it going to take him a couple of events? Like what's, what's going to happen? I mean, to be perfectly honest with you, with the players that he's got around him, like obviously APG veteran, McQuinn veteran of the game, like Collect has been competing at a high level for two years now. So it's like, in terms of internet, he would be able to impart a lot of knowledge, but also teaming with those two veterans is also going to be good for Collect's development. The same as it's going to be good for Neptune's development. So I think it's going to be a really interesting roster to watch. I'm not really sure where I rank them. I think I'll have to, I have to see how it all shakes out at the kickoff event. Yeah. I feel like as you just said there, the development, I feel like this could be like a team for the future. Yeah, potentially. Because if they're going to try, if, depending on how Neptune adapts early on, if he's a slow, slow burner, he could, it could be like next year or later in the year to actually see what they're trying to build come through. Yeah. Which, you know, I mean, I think that in the, I think the top three teams will still stay as the top three teams. Yeah. I mean, I think it's going to be any combination of phase optic FSG in those one, two, and three spots every single time. Right. Especially in the first half of the season. Yeah. But those teams have the facility to get the best players. That's the thing. Like, you know, these are the top 12 players in the world in essence. You know what I mean? I think when you start getting into like the fourth, fifth, sixth, fourth to eighth sort of range, it's going to be a real, like the competition there is going to be insane. Like it's going to be super close. Um, which has, you know, for the, for the viewer, that's fantastic. I'm so gassed to see. Um, unfortunately you're probably gonna have to wait until maybe February or March to see these new teams, but it is what it is. You know what I mean? Um, so that's the order of business on the halo front Shopify rebellion, obviously. So they've parted ways with Ryan and rain, and they've brought in soul snipe and suppressed to partner mental and cycle as their format team, which I'm kind of slacking a little bit because I didn't watch it because, um, of some stuff, but on Sunday when they did the worldwide off season cup thing. Yeah. Um, so I think for the past two weeks that has been run by a team that has like a frosty steam, I'm not sure on the roster, so I'm not going to say it in case I get it completely wrong. Um, I know, man, I did. I did see it. Like, cause I sent you that screen grab from the rankings yesterday, which might reveal something about if, if the legend move is true or if the, if the legend is going to SSG, then that may well reveal the new quadrant and Na'vi rosters, which is very, very interesting. But obviously like this is also, you know, like legend last week played with trippy tapping buttons and like, it was either at, so or drift. And that's definitely not going to be a team. You know what I mean? So I don't want to be, I don't want to sit here and be like, Oh, this is the new quadrant roster because it's like, it probably might not be, but it could be maybe who knows. Yeah. We'll have to wait and see. Yeah. I'll wait and wait and see. Sorry. In their first outing Shopify rebellion won this event. So, you know, obviously that the only full roster I think are playing in it or the only full confirmed roster, I should say, but it'll be interesting to see where they shake out. You know what I mean? Like this is what I mean, man. Like literally like you've got Shopify who have got four disgusting players, native for disgusting players, quadrant for disgusting players, like sentinels. If that roster stays the same for disgusting players and they've been together for the, uh, a long period of time now. And that sentinels roster is really, really good. Like I really liked them as a team. You know what I mean? But it's like, well, there's, there's four teams there and any four of them could place anywhere through fourth and eighth. You know what I mean? Like, so it's going to be an absolute war when the season starts. I'm so excited. That's all right. That middle teams is just going to be constant back and forth each other. Yeah. I think it's going to be, it's going to be really good. Um, just a way in game now, just have to wait and see what happens. But if I was a betting man and I'm not, I would put money on a legend to SSG. All right. Well, let me load up the sites that are not to be named. Yeah. We can't name them because well, number one, I don't agree with gambling on a fundamental level. And number two, well, they're not paying us any money. So, well, I mean, if said gambling websites would like to get involved, I'm all sellout. That is a set is a ginormous sellout. So this is also very true. Yeah. Help the email got me at no morals at gmail.com. We have to start by email just in case. Just kept the old, uh, the old gambling companies coming through. We heard you podcasting. I'll take it. We get money or free bets. I'll take you there. I can do that. I couldn't do that. I couldn't, I couldn't sit here in good conscience and be like, use this website. You know what I mean? Yeah. Right. FIFA coins.com galaxy. So use your ultimate team coins to then bet on real life games. I didn't know that was gambling. I was like, what are you on about? Yeah. Of course. That's not gambling, bro. No, it's not. The website is no longer available because he got fucking cease to cease and desist letters and I went to court over it. That's insane. That's actually insane. To be fair, though, if, if someone told me, get on foot galaxy and you can turn your fee for coins into real life money to gamble on football matches, I would assume I was getting scammed as soon as the words galaxy left their mouth. You can change your coins into real money. You just used your foot coins to bet on games and then you got foot coins back. He would start just stupid. Yeah, it is. Right. Because I mean, like anyone that plays FIFA, you know, it's a gambling simulator. So yeah. So, you know, I mean, yeah. Shout out random loot boxes and drop rates and DDA because it's definitely scripted, bro. A hundred percent. There's scripted in there, especially in squabbles. I swap out is insane. Like one minute you're playing against like, you know what I mean? Grimsby town, Sunday league theme. And then the next minute it's like 2008 prime pep Barcelona. It's wild. You know what I mean? Right. Okay. I think it is, bro. You've played squabbles, you know, you know what's going on. Fuck your squad balls, man. Shut up. Hate squad balls. Shout out icon swaps. Anyway, I feel you have some news to impart upon the people, bro. Well, as I said at the start, big weekend for the CDL. Yeah. CDL is back and it was amazing. Oh, it was so much fun. Banger after banger. What I'll do quickly is I will run through the results of the weekend. Like it is soccer Saturday and the results at the end of the day. If you, if you're not going to go phase three, subliners, no, then no, I just leave. So practice this. Yes. We need a Chris Kamara type character now, bro. You know what I mean? Chris Kamara before and now. Going live to the Boston breach major. We've heard that Tommy's pops a daddy. Is that right, Chris? I don't know. No, man, you got to warn me before you're going to drop something like that. Hey, you can't set up. He's popped a daddy. Oh, right. Go on. Hit me with it. Friday. Phase three, Boston two. That was a banger match. It was a, that was a good way of starting all the way to the game five. Um, LA thieves one, Seattle surge three surge in that game, by the way. I'm like, just unreal. Like, very good. I still haven't seen, I don't think I've seen Sergio thieves play yet. Well, that, that fucking, the, the Rambo Ray effect. And LA LA was unbelievable, by the way. Like, never seen LA is good, but Chris, and then it's, it's wild with LA to be fair that he had to like, almost an entire year off and he's just come back and he's like gunning. Yeah. You know what I mean? Hit the ground running. Yeah, exactly. And then the final game for Friday optic to New York subliners three. Oh, so bang again. Now that was almost a reverse sweep. I went all the way to game 11, game five, game five, round 11. I'm pretty sure. Said he was, he was not happy, bro. Like when they touched up that round 11, he was, he was, yeah. That guy's different. The only reason I think he can think he was upset is because there were two no up in the series and almost lost it in the last game. That's the only reason I can see him being raging about it. Yeah. Also object should have won that because they had, it was five, four and they had the opportunity to win it because they had, there was three of them pushing down in the bird side and he was on the top eskies and could have killed all of them, killed two and then fell off and then ran away. Yeah. Like, Oh, we're so close, but you can't win them all. But to take the reigning champions all the way to the game 11, game five, round 11 is always a good thing. So yeah, that was mine. So it was a very good day. It was enjoyable though, man. Yeah. It was a bang and weekend bang and Friday. It was like good viewing. Right. What happened on Saturday, bro? Saturday. Ravens nil. Heretics three. Sha Ravens. Absolutely. Heretics dominated. Then followed off with a tweet. Did you see the tweet from the heretics account? Was this the, um, different city, same raven. Yeah. Here's a three, no loss. And then here's shit about your, your team. Hold that. Get folks. Fucking Jesus. Shout out the Spaniards. You love to see it. Um, then we've got Legion three. Rocker two. Was a very close game. Neither team Luke. Brilliant. But they'll, I don't know. It's a strange one with both of them. I'm not convinced they'll do great. But see, I think it's really like full burner teams. Strange. You say that, right? Because I feel like cause Legion played again on Sunday, didn't they? Yes, they did. Right. I feel I caught both the Legion games from this weekend. Yeah. And their search is really good. Yeah. So their S and D is insanely good. Like super high level. Everything else is a little bit, uh, you know what I mean? It's a little bit, whatever. Yeah. Yeah. There's tiny not to do on those, those game modes. But like, if they can consistently win search games, then, you know what I mean? Like if they can consistently win game two and they can kind of like scrap out one of the other ones and they can force a game five, then I feel like any, any, any given series can be taken by Legion. As long as they keep doing what they're doing in search, you know what I mean? It's just trying to find that consistency. I just don't know if they got that just yet. Well, it's a new roster, isn't it? A young roster. Yeah, it's true. Um, then we've got ultra three, LAG one. Ultra are disgusting, by the way. Oh yeah. They, they just also have got a phone, a nice rhythm and a nice setup that just dominates. Much teamwork to do so. Yeah. Like their comms are insane. Yeah. Like so clear, right? And then we're moving on to surge three, Boston one. So it's again, this is the first time another team played second this weekend and it was surge and again, winning three, one. Love to see it. Well, saying that Boston played as well for the second time and Boston took phase all the way to game five. But then they struggled against surge. It's the slasher effect, bro. He taught them everything they know about cod. That boy's got bad circulation in his cuffs, just how tight his trousers are. Shout out slasher, man. You know when you, you know, when you go on a plane and you get off it like a long haul flight and your ankles swell up. Yeah. Slasher is just constantly swollen up. I'm just saying he's got deep vein thrombosis constantly. Yeah. Cause he was tight trousers when his hat is on too much. And the fact that he looks like he's on a different planet constantly. Yeah. He did look like he was on stuff on, um, Saturday, Sunday, uh, Legion two Ravens three. So you were saying about Legion there, they did play again on this Sunday. Yeah. But then they lost a Ravens who'd lost three nil to heretics the day before. Yeah. I feel like closer, closer. They've got like a really young team. Um, and closer has to, is dragging them through it. Yeah. I would agree with that. I think that game went all the way to game 11 at rent five to get 11. I think he got an injured if he was in round 11. Oh, did he? Yeah. I'd have to, I'd have to verify that, but I'm pretty sure he did. It's like mental, but that's just the sort of thing you get with closer. He'll clutch up sometimes. And then sometimes he won't, but he's always in the columns. He'll, he's always like a really heavy comms person and just, he will say whatever he fucking thinks. He doesn't care. Yeah. He doesn't care what he says. You know what I mean? At the end of the game, he'll say shit. And why is that shit? This, that, and the next thing you won't give a fuck. Cause all he wants to do is win. And he knows what it takes to win. I feel that's the thing in it. Like he's been around for so long that he has that like respect and credibility. Oh yeah, definitely. Where he can turn around to you and just be like, yeah, that was trash. And like, you then listen to it. 17 years or something. I think it was in the league. He's 31. Yeah. My man is 31 and he's, he's bounced around team after team after team, but people keep picking him up for a reason. Yeah. Well, this is the thing, man. Like if, you know, he's still doing it at that age, then respect. You know what I mean? Although to be fair, like I feel with eSports, you can definitely compete for a longer period of time than, for a lot longer than we've seen out of the vast majority of people. It seems to be like people get in, they make their money. And then they either get out and go and do something else or they get out and then they become a content creator. You know what I mean? Um, but you know, if he's still fragging at the level required, then why not? You know what I mean? If he's still enjoying it, then why not? It's also the work that's got to go in at the time, because sometimes we don't see the work that goes in behind it all. Um, so there's not a lot you can do. Yeah, exactly. Um, next one, um, New York Subliners three, LAG two. Again, New York Subliners, this matchup could have easily been 3-0 LAG. This was without the mud come back on Hardpoint. Yes, game one, Hardpoint Karachi. It was, um, what was it? They came back by 71 points. And so it was, what, one, what would that be? One, seven, nine? One, seven? Yeah, one, seven, nine. Yeah, one, seven, nine to two, four, eight. One, seven, nine to two, forty? Two, four, eight. Two, four, eight. What? I think. That's insane. If that's, if that's true, like, we might need a VAR on that one, but wait, if that's the actual number, then that's insane, bro. I'll do a very quick VAR check on that one, but I've seen there was a video on the TVL channel of, uh, if 71 seconds of, um, of, like, perfection could be captured in a video. It's, yeah. Oh, sorry, I'm wrong. I'm out by, like, 20. So it was one, nine, four to two, four, eight. Even that's still ridiculous. Like, to two, four, eight. Oh my days. And they came back to, to win that two, fifty, two, forty. Couple of, like, two questions. Go on. How have they managed to do that? Just kismet the goat. And then also, how have LAG been unable to get two seconds of hill time? Because kismet the goat. Oh, shut up. He is. I don't doubt that. No, I don't know, bro. But, like, I might actually go back and watch that, because that'd be... That was game one, you said? Yeah. Yeah, I might definitely go and watch that, because that sounded interesting to go and watch. Well, as I said, on the CDL, the College Elite channel, there's a video that says, if perfection could be captured in 71 seconds, this would be it. And it's a clip of from that moment, where they end up with a single second. Yeah. Yeah, that'd be interesting to go and see. But New York, they just, they seem to struggle to finish games off. You know what I mean? They'll go 2-0, and then they'll just finish it. But, again, this could have been... It could have easily been 3-0 LAG. They could have... LAG have the opportunity to win every single game, and they just didn't take the opportunities. Moving on, LAT-0, phase three. Steve's just, like, miles off it. Faze didn't break a sweat, like, at all. I mean, I think that's the thing, though, isn't it? Steve's off it, but Faze are really that good. Yeah, but even then, you'd think they'd still put up a fight about it. Fair enough, at one point, Faze had to sweat a little bit, but it wasn't exactly too tasking, because they relaxed the entire rest of the game. Yeah, yeah. But it is Faze. And then, final match of the weekend was ROKR1, Optic 3. The final... Finally got a win. That's what we like to see. What are you saying about a new Optic roster, bro? How are you feeling about it? I think it's a little bit too early for me to say much. Yeah. It's the same old story with Shotzi, where he's very keen to overheat. But he has the ability to change a game entirely, or throw a game entirely. Yeah. Which was obvious in a couple of the games. And it's trying to reign him in, but then it's like, if you reign him in, then he can't be Shotzi. Yeah, I think that's the thing, man. That's just inherent to who he is as a person, yeah. Kenny looks like a good pickup. He's solid. Fred's disgusting as well. Yeah, but as Fred, he's always been disgusting. This is very true. I can't mind what... Which, it must have been the Friday series with Optic. And he was top... I think it was hard point Karachi? Yeah. And he was in the church, where there's the front door onto the street, and there's the stairs at the side, and one of the hard points is in it. Yeah, yeah. When we were watching it, I said to you, I was like, oh, there's always people in and around this building, and any of the scrims I've been watching and stuff. Right. And he just walked in the front door and picked up the most disgusting three piece. And it was just like, oh, right, okay. Different. Yeah, different, literally. So, with all those games, I'm going to have a quick rundown through the table, just so we can understand where we're sitting after game week one. Yeah, the EL points are falling. Yeah. So, started at the top, Faze, Surge, New York. All 2-0. 2-0. Two wins, no losses. Surge is the surprising entry into that. It's the Rambo Ray effect. We watched the Rambo Ray videos last year. We got better. You know what I mean? This is very true, man. I cannot wait for Rambo Ray to start with the content again, man. Oh, it's such good content. Money Hill. Money, money, cat. Dollar signs, dollar signs. Money Hill, ka-ching. Love that. And then next, you've got Heretics and Ultra, who are 1-0. Yeah. They only played once this weekend. So, obviously, some teams only play once. Other teams play twice. Yeah. So, they're 1 win, no losses. Then you've got Legion, Ravens, Optic. They are 1 loss, 1 win each. Okay. And then it leaves Rocker, Boston, LAG, and LA Thieves, 0-2 so far. All LA teams are having a rough time out of it, bro. Yeah. Well, LAG actually look like they can get points out of it. They can get games out of this year. LAT, I'm not sure yet. A lot of work to be done. Ghosty needs help. That's all I'm saying. Ghosty needs help. Free my man. Who else is on the LA Thieves roster? Afro, Kame, Joe Deceives. I wonder if they'll make a change at some point for one of those players. If anybody, Joe Deceives. Or maybe two. I don't think Joe Deceives is that good of a player. But, what do I know? Yeah, that team, man. I think he's in the... He's in Challengers. He's got a team of Beans and Babs, Bats. Yeah, he's got Beans, Bats, and someone else, isn't he? That team's disgusting. Yeah. All those boys were on fucking teams last year, and now they're just in Challengers, just dominating. Yeah. Yeah. Last thing I want to do for this side of CDL stuff. Yeah. A quick run-through of the next week's schedule. Yeah, what have we got? We've got a couple. I've got a couple of predictions. I've got my predictions for who's going to win those games as well, and I'll get your opinion on that as well. Go for it. So, Friday, we've got Heretics versus Legion. Yeah. And then you've got LA Thieves versus Boston. Yeah. And then, I think the highlight of Friday, OpTic versus Surge. Ooh. So, obviously... That's like... Oh, mate, that's like... Last year... Oh, bro, the storylines. Yeah, they had Illy, Hook, and Rambo Ray play on OpTic last year. Yeah. And they're all on other teams. And then Pred was at Surge last year. Mate, highlight of the Friday, guaranteed. Yeah, that is an insane match-up. The storyline there is going to be wild, bro. Who's on the revenge tour? This is the question. Well, apparently, the OpTic curse has been that every time someone gets released from OpTic, they then win champs or majors the next year. That would be interesting. Yeah, imagine. Imagine Surge winning it. Dashing in the mud, bro, if that happens. Like, oh my days. Have you seen the intro for their OpTic? When they come onto the stage or whatever else? I don't think so. And in the background, it's like all the news articles being like, can Dashy live up to his championship potential and whatever else? It's pretty cool. I read it. But I'm a fanboy. I'm biased that way. You are, bro. It's just a shame the phase one dog shit, eh? You do. Yeah, the phase one's weird. The phase one, like, I love the fact that they've given Selium a snake to hold. Yeah, that's fucking class. He looks like, when he's throwing the Fs up, he looks so awkward. You know what I mean? He's just there doing it, and he doesn't want to move in case the snake actually kills him. It's also a bit weird that they've got Draza kidnapping everybody right at the start. Yeah. Like, bro, it's so weird. I don't understand what the creative vision for that little intro was. Like, I really don't get that. This is why his fans are going to get delisted from fucking NASDAQ or whatever it is. Like, because they make stuff like this, you know what I mean? Like, what the fuck is that? Come on, boys. So, predictions for this weekend, for that phase. I think Heretics versus Legion, I think Heretics are going to win. I would second that. Yeah, good dominant display in the first game. Legion a bit rocky in stages. I think it'll just be an easy enough win for Heretics. LA Fiends versus Boston. I think Boston will win it, based on LAT not being that great. And Boston took phase all the way to game five. Yeah, fair enough. Had a little rocky stage against Surge, but I feel like Boston are more solid just now. I would also agree with that. OpTic versus Surge. I'm going to back OpTic. Thoughts, feelings? I actually don't know. Um, I would like, I feel like on paper, OpTic are the higher potential team. Yeah. But also, obviously, like Rambo Ray will know the way that they want to play. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, he'll know in every situation the way that OpTic wants to play a certain situation. Where is Dashy going to be? What shots are you going to be doing? Where is Shotzi about to come at you from? You know what I mean? I think it's because the point just holds forward. Well, I mean, yeah. But you get what I mean? Yeah. So I really don't know. And obviously, like, Illy is frying. How's Hook doing? Uh, he's okay. Is he doing Hook things again? It depends on which Hook you've got. If you get Hook the Nuke, or just normal Hook. Not Addy Hook. Not Addy Hook. Not Addy Hook. Okay, so you got Hook the Duke. We just got Hooked. Yeah. I don't know, bro. Fuck it, I'll back Surge. I'll back Surge. Because it'll make it an interesting watch on Friday night. You're in my ear every time somebody gets killed. Oh, shit dog! The human reaction, bro. He's in my fucking ear going, don't cry, Craig. Crybaby Forbesy, that's what we call him. That's what we're all calling him. Not our guys. Our guys came in through the wall. These dogs. Uh, Saturday. Heretics vs. Rocker. Heretics are playing Friday night and Saturday? Yep. Well, they only played once last weekend, so they've got to play two this weekend. Yeah, that makes sense. Like, match it all up. So, I'm going to go Heretics against Rocker on that one. Again, Heretics. Rocker, I'm not convinced. Next one after that, Legion vs. New York Subliners. I'm going to go Subliners. Yeah, that's at NY every day of the week. Yeah, seem like a better team just now. Next one after that, FaZe vs. Surge. So, currently at the time, that would be number one seed, number two seed going up against each other. I have FaZe winning that one as well. Yeah. And then after that, you've got Ultra vs. Ravens. I'm going to pick Ultra. Yeah, Ultra. Yep. And then brings on to Sunday. Only three games on Sunday instead of the four that they had last weekend. You've got Ravens vs. OpTic. I'm going to go OpTic. Yeah, I would say OpTic on that one. And then you've got LAG vs. LAT, which I'm going to go LAT on that one. Ooh! It's an interesting pick. I think LAT will do better against LAG. Unless Diamond Con is on his final form. That man is. Yeah, he is. For someone coming into the league, he's good, like. He is very good. He is good. And then the final game of next weekend, Boston vs. Ultra. And I have Ultra winning that one, sorry. Yeah, I would say Ultra would take that one. And that concludes the CDL news. It should be a good weekend, man. It should be. I've got one other thing I would like to have just a quick five-minute conversation about. Do it, bro. Now, obviously, we've talked about this when it originally broke. But the CDL slash YouTube slash Activision, whoever... I did wonder where you were going with that, then. I was like, what are we... You were about to drop like a truth bomb on me. Like, I know, bro. Get a live reaction. Yeah, Han's right. We're not getting into that again. No, so YouTube, CDL, Activision, whoever it is. The news came out... What day was it? Saturday? This is the flank thing, yeah? Yeah, so it came out on Saturday where the flank had received an email. And this goes to the breakdown as well. They are no longer allowed to watch as it's being played or review gameplay after the games are finished on live stream. Right. So this essentially tries to silence... I don't want to say silence because it's not. It's trying to minimize the content that they can make out of what goes on. On the surface, yes. Yes, on the surface, yes. On the surface, yes. Obviously, we've had a conversation about this before. That's why I want a quick five-minute thoughts on what we think could be. Yeah, I mean... Go for it, hit me. The thing for me, right, is that that deal with YouTube... Now, when we were chatting about this the other day, I did a little bit of preliminary research to try and find out how much this distribution deal with YouTube is going to be for the CDL. Now, I think the last one, if I'm not mistaken, was about $100 million. That's a fair side of the cash. So obviously, if YouTube are paying $100 million... For the sake of argument, let's say this is a three-year deal, right? They're paying $100 million for distribution, exclusive distribution rights against... For, sorry, for the CDL. Then that would technically mean, in my mind, that the image rights for everything that happens on a CDL broadcast... So we're not talking like... So like the scrims, anything that the players are doing, that's fine staying on Twitch because that isn't part of the broadcast package. But anything where it's the full teams as the teams playing against each other would, in theory, to me, be protected under the same deal. Which I think is where the issue is coming with the flank, because obviously that's like a watch party thing. My understanding is that the flank is where they do like a watch party because they've got... So obviously it's like a podcast and it's its own thing, but they do watch parties for the CDL. And then the breakdown is where they go through a series and they look at everything that's happened in it. Yeah, they go through most of the weekend, like I've just gone, but they'll go into further details and breakdown plays and then bring in the plays of the day, the plays of the weekend, and then the player of the weekend, and then get conversations about it and why certain players have done this or why they're doing that, etc. And the sort of game plays and routes that it can run. Far more in depth than I will ever be able to do because these are professional players giving those reviews. So I would assume that the reason why Activision have gone to these people and gone, don't do this anymore, is purely because they're going to be using the CDL product on a rival distribution station. You know what I mean? Yeah. So it's like, because they're going to be taking the product and showing it on something that then isn't covered in the CDL's broadcasting deal, the people at YouTube are just like, well... Because obviously when we talked about it, you brought up, is it fair use or not? Of course it is. It's put out there in the public domain. So in my opinion, it is fair use. I don't think this is a copyright problem. I think it's literally like a reproduction issue. So they don't like... For example, the Scump thing, they do the Watch Party now dual streamed. Yeah. So they have it on YouTube where they watch it live and there's the thing and they're reacting to it like it used to be. And then on Twitch, if you watch it, it's literally just the four guys sat watching. Watching it, but you can't see it. So it's like, obviously like in the UK, there's certain people that will watch. It's like a watch along. So like where they will sit and they will be watching the football game, but you won't see the game because they're not allowed to show the game on that distribution method. Yeah. You know what I mean? So to me, this is what it feels like. This is what it looks like. I think if... Because who is the front of the breakdown? Zuma and... Oh, I can't tell you who's on it. I know Octane does it. I know he's on there as well. If these people or whoever it is that's in charge of making content and running the accounts just did what Scump has done and migrated to YouTube for the sake of doing that, then they probably wouldn't have any issues with it. I don't know, I'm not too sure about the next bit, like the being able to review it afterwards. I don't know if they've got to keep that on YouTube or if they're even allowed to use that because apparently according to the email that Zuma got, they're not allowed to review it afterwards either. But I don't know if that's because they're on Twitch. The thing is though, is as people that aren't affiliated with the league, like they're not employed by any team as far as I know. Yeah. They're not employed by the CDL itself. They're just creators. So I wouldn't understand the reasons as to why they couldn't take what is already available on the platform, go back through it and review it. You know what I mean? Maybe also there's a monetization problem here, like how is it being monetized? The CDL want a cut of it, YouTube want a cut of it. I mean, obviously when we spoke about it the other day, maybe it's a viewership problem. They don't want the viewer base being split massively over two things. You know what I mean? Because if the CDL signed a deal with YouTube, YouTube are going to want everyone on their platform because that benefits them. You know what I mean? It wouldn't surprise me if this is part of a bigger sort of like political business situation between YouTube as a live streaming company and Twitch as a live streaming company. Because obviously Twitch is the biggest player in that industry. So YouTube getting CDL, that's a massive coup already. That's a massive play. So it's like, maybe it's the fact that they don't want people going over here because they've paid for the rights to broadcast this shit. You know what I mean? They've paid to have a seat at that table. So they don't want people going around the back and picking food up directly out of the kitchen for want of a better analogy. You know what I mean? I mean, how are you feeling about it? Because I feel like when we chatted about it, my view was very business based. You know what I mean? I kind of understood where the businesses were coming from. However, you were kind of approaching it as like you're actually a fan of this stuff. You know what I mean? How are you feeling about it? My stance without going into the business side of it is as much as watching the CDL is good as well, but the original watch party you got from Scump, we're always good because even without the breakdown and as the four men watching the fucking stream and watching the games, they do things and they tell you things that you wouldn't think about or you wouldn't know because you're hearing it from an ex-professional player as the games are going on. So they'll tell you that they're doing this for that or they're going to come here and then check there and do that, talking you through it. Where you don't get that on the CDL. Fair enough, you get the casters, they play COD, but they're not into the depths and the scrims and whatever else and the details and the nitty gritty like the Scump and Methods and whoever else is on the stream at the time. Especially when it comes to events and stuff, like I remember on the Scump one, they would bring people in after the games and talk to them about the game and how they felt and winning it and what it meant and whatever else. You're not going to get that anymore. It was slightly disappointing, but then from the business side of it, you can understand it because those people have a following and they drive them away and they drive them away from the CDL. But then the question is, would they actually watch the CDL if that person's not watching it? If Scump or whoever is not watching it with them? Well, this is the thing, man, isn't it? Because it's like... You know, I feel like you said the other day, now correct me if I'm wrong, but you would have the CDL stream open to get the benefits of having the CDL stream open, i.e. drops and stuff, but you personally prefer to watch it through the watch body for the reasons that you've just mentioned. And now I'm at the stage where I won't have the Scump one open because it's a different platform and it's just easier having it. The thing is, I'm trying to play games at the same time as watching it and doing my own thing. I'm not going to have 19 million streams or websites open just for one single game. I mean, I've seen a couple of videos. I've seen some absolute trash level takes on Twitter, but then it's Twitter, so what do you expect? You know what I mean? Everything on Twitter is trash, like... Retweet. Um... That's all right, I've got two on the nose, my bad. Even though Twitter is still coming soon so we can join in on putting out trash takes just upon impression. You'll find that along with the other link in bio. Sorry. Oh dear. No, you're not using this as a vehicle to sell that, bro. Why? That's not happening. Content is content. Yeah, but like, no one wants to see that, bro. How do you know? Well, I mean, maybe people do, but like... Yeah, see? That's... There's only one way to find out. Who said taking money? How can we sell this for free? I'm just giving back to the people, you know? Yeah, cool. That's an image that I really didn't need. But... You've really, like, thrown me off my balance. I've thrown me off balance, bro. Oh yeah, like, so like, some takes on... I felt like they were very... Rash and... Rash, and I obviously, when we were watching the... Because this story broke on the Saturday, I feel, when we were watching the CDL on the Saturday, there was loads of people in the chat... Free the flank. Free the flank, like, shout out that boy. That was like, have they G8 flanking now? You know what I mean? My guy got the complete wrong end of the stick, but like... What does free the flank mean? Are they not allowed to flank anymore? My guy heard they G8 snaking, and thought they G8 flanking. Next he was saying he thought they were G8 shooting the guns. Everyone's just gonna have a knife fight in the middle of the map. That's the other one that was like, free the flank, and he was like, what does free the flank mean? I quite like a flank steak. Mate. For fuck's sake, oh man. Like, um... You know, and I feel like more information will... As time goes on, like, I know that there is a... I can't actually mind the YouTube channel that it's done on, but it's like tactical rabs daily, or like three hourly roundup, because I swear, like, that guy drops a video every eight hours. Like, my guy's got three going out every 24 hours. I don't know where he finds the time to sleep. Um, maybe he sleeps for like three hours, and he gets on, sits on Twitter for like three hours, records a video, edits it, uploads it, releases it, goes back to bed. You know what I mean? The conspiracy theory about tactical rab, he died years ago, and it's just a robot. It's just AI now. I know he's a big donny. I know he's about six foot seven or something. I mean, he died, so then they've got AI doing it for him. That wouldn't surprise me, to be fair. That little... Like, every time I watch one of those videos, you ever play Command and Conquer? No. Like, you never play Command and Conquer? Like, basically, when, um, like, in the middle of missions, like, these, like, donnies would just, like, like a little box would appear with, like, a live-action person in it, just, like, talking about his shit. You know what I mean? And, like, that's what it reminds me of, because it was always just, like, a video of their face. You know what I mean? Just being, like, oh, like, you've deployed these, like, dolphins with guns on. Well, say hello to my communist gun squids. You know what I mean? Like, that sort of thing. Gun squids. Yeah, they're genuine units in Command and Conquer Red Alert, I think. Like, if you played as NATO, you had dolphins with gats, and if you played as the communists, I don't know who it was supposed to be. I know who it was supposed to be, but I'm not going to say it. Undisclosed communist nations of the 1960s. They had, like, squids with guns on them, also. If you'd like to answer the question of communist countries, stick it in the comments below which one you think it is. Yeah, but also, maybe, you know, be careful. Change the last letter, the first letter and the last letter around. That'll be all right. We'll work out from there. Be okay. Yeah, sure. Whatever. Go for it, man. Do your thing, people. But yeah, so I need to watch that video. For me, personally, I want to understand it a little bit more. You know what I mean? Especially considering this is quite a complicated business situation, I think. Yeah, I go through a lot of legal lawyers. I want to know what the business basis is for them saying this thing. You know what I mean? Because I imagine there must be one, because then, you know, the CDL, as far as I know, has never come out and gagged people before. No. So, you know, there definitely is a reason. I would assume it's something to do with YouTube and this deal that they've cut. I'd be surprised if it was to do with anything else. You know what I mean? But we'll have to see. Yeah, it'll be a wait-and-see sort of game. Because it is only, what's that, four days since it broke, and it'll be going through a lot of folk to try and get the actual full release. But we shall wait and see. And we'll keep you updated as more developments occur. Well, unfortunately, there's no breaking news on the SSG front, which is disappointing. There goes the fucking tag for today. Hot takes, breaking news. Old podcast ruined because of fucking SSG tricks. It's not SSG, man. SSG are, like, one of the most amazing organisations in eSports, I think. Ruined our podcast without having the breaking news. Ruined TeamNade forever. Yeah, fuck SSG, man. Fucking episode six in the bin, Christ. They'll have to re-record it. Fuck! Oh, well. Too late for that shit. Right, I think that will do for today. Unless you've got anything else to say again? Oh, yeah, one last thing. Last week, we spoke about FireFight and how FireFight was— in Halo now, this is— how FireFight was using the new matchmaking networking pathways, or whatever they've cooked up. Some boys said on Twitter— this is unverified, obviously, because it's Twitter, and I can't mind who it was— but they said that they think that they've basically gone and used the netcode from Halo 5, which was a lot more stable than Infinite was at launch. Okay. But they've now— whatever this change is, whatever they've done to change the networking, they've now rolled it out into a new playlist of squad battle— it's like squad battle test environment or something it's called. But if you go and jump into a game of squad battle this week, it will use the new networking parameters. So this is a really good thing. Obviously, their feedback and their— whatever it is they're monitoring on the backside of it, like the metrics and stuff that they're looking at, were favorable. So they've now taken it from a PVE environment. They're implementing it in a PVP environment. Also interesting that they do it in squad battle, because obviously that's 8v8, I think, or 10v10. I think it's 8v8, because it's like old school BTB. So they're obviously going to get a lot more data about how everything sort of like works together, everything gels together. So hopefully, we see a bigger rollout across multiple playlists, maybe in the new year. Hopefully so. Things will start to slow down for Christmas and whatever. Yeah, I mean, it would be nice eventually to be able to walk down the LR hallway in Solitude and not just fucking bounce all over the place because of those tiny little rocks that are on the floor, which just cause you, Spartan, to wig out and desync into walls and move around in weird ways and stuff. So yeah, we'll look forward to that. We'll have to wait and see. But as always, we'll keep you updated on that front. Of course, you're going to get your most up-to-date Call of Duty Halo news. TeamNode podcast, that's the only place. It's the only place to do it. There's the fucking tag for the audio. Oh yeah, let's go. Stick it on the fucking bio, Monodons. Get it on a display. He made it. TeamNode, the first and last word in Halo and COD news. Monodons, that's where we get slapped with a cease and desist. And in two months' time, I'm sat here going, yeah, so we got this letter today from Activision's lawyers saying that we can't do this anymore. So thanks, guys. It's been a good ride. Let's hope we don't get to the point where they're getting cease and desist letters. If Activision sent us a cease and desist letter, I'm framing that shit and putting it on the wall. It's getting launched in the fucking fire. No, because obviously, if we do that, then it's like, well, we've rattled them that badly that they've got their mega legal eagle types to come down on us, bro. Like, you know what I mean? Yeah, it's all right. The thing is, we've got fucking three names in the fucking works. TeamNade, TeamNades, TeamNades with a Z. So you fucking try to stop us. Just adapt and overcome, you know? Yeah, exactly. We'll just rebrand like Hermes. What is it? Improvise, adapt, overcome. We're on that Bear Grylls shit. Yeah, exactly. You know what? We'll have to engage in a bit of E&E, bro. Oh, yeah, mate. Make fucking Activision lost in the sauce. Yes, bro. That's exactly what we're going to do. We're just going to cook them. Cook them with movement. They won't be able to keep up. Yeah, let's fucking desync our servers and then we're fucked. We're just going to desync our recording platform. Right, well, I think that'll do for this week. We will be back next week with some more CDL and Halo updates. Thank you very much for listening. Remember to tell us any feedback, negative, positive, anything at all, because it will all help improve. Yeah, we want to hear it, mate. But if you think there's something that we're not doing and we should be doing, let us know. If there's something we are doing and you really rate it, let us know. If there's something we're doing and you don't like it, let us know. Just, obviously, keep it civil and constructive. Don't just message us saying, this is dog shit. Because it's like, yeah, nice one. Thanks, mate. Why does he sound like a fanny? I don't like this. Yeah, exactly. You know what I mean? I know I sound fanny. I'm tough, man. There's not a lot I can do for that. So. Shy, Scotland. I'm on a dance.
