The host invites the audience to join this community for inspiration, support, and laughter. Hey there everyone. All my friends come in, gather in, and I want to welcome you to the big launch of Chew On This 365. It's just a cozy little spot on the internet where we get to dive deep into feeding our minds, bodies, and souls with the best vibes every single day. I'm Dr. Tanzania Davis, but since we are friends, you may call me Tanzy. I am super pumped to have you here, ready to explore, grow, and just get better at thriving in life together. So who's behind the mic, you might be asking? Well, let's go back down to Lumberton, North Carolina, a small, close-knit community where everyone knows your name and knows your business, but it's just because they care. And that's where I got my start, thanks to my awesome parents who are both educators, and my dad is also a retired pastor. He has an endless passion for uplifting spirits in the small churches, and my mom showing me the ropes of genuine service from singing in the choir to volunteering at the local hospital. And yes, that was me, the candy striper in the red and white pinstripe dresses, but I loved every minute of it. My journey has been a mix of music and education, so a fun fact, I was in the marching band in high school. Consider that my sport, I'm not that athletic, so marching band was my sport, played the oboe, clarinet, and mellophone. And from there, I went off to UNC Chapel Hill to study in dental hygiene. I worked a year as a hygienist before going off to Howard University College of Dentistry, and now let's fast forward 23 years later of running my own dental practice in Bowie, here I am, ready to chat with you. So why chew on this 365, and why now? Well, in a world that seems to be just spinning faster every day, and I watch my patients, especially after COVID, the whole idea of wellness and being wise as we are well, and wellness and growth, finding our anchor in wellness and growth has never been more important, especially after COVID. So this podcast is my way of just sharing wisdom and insights I've gathered from health care, through education, mentoring in my practice, giving back to the community, and even diving into entrepreneurship. So it's my way of just simply being a part of a caring community. What inspires my mission is just the belief that every single one of us has the power to transform our lives through daily practices of wisdom, wellness, and wholeness. By exploring these themes together, I feel that we're not just sharing knowledge, we're building a movement toward a more fulfilled, healthy, and connected life. So what's on the menu for the future episodes, in case you're wondering, expect a hearty mix of heartfelt stories, expert advice, and practical tips that'll help you navigate life's ups and downs. From the nitty gritty of daily self-care routines, to the profound insights of personal growth and spirituality, each episode is designed to bring you closer to achieving that harmonious balance that we all seek. And here's a promise, with every episode of 200 365, you're not just listening to a podcast, you're taking a step closer to a life of balance, where wisdom, wellness, and wholeness are not just ideals, but they are realities. So without further ado, thanks a million for tuning into our very first episode. I am beyond excited to embark on this journey with you, sharing, learning, and growing in every way. Let's make this community our go-to spot for inspiration, support, and of course, a few laughs along the way. Until we meet again, keep finding those moments that make life shine. And remember, keep chewing on the good stuff.
