Right Doing Leads To Healing

Okay, so we gave you a replay of Don Tolman as he was talking about the body. But what I would like to do with you right now is show you something out of inspiration. Okay? And please, I want you to remember that God gave us the leaves of the plants and the trees and so forth for the healing of the nations. He gave us wonderful therapies. If we stuck to that, we'd see amazing things happening. But, I want to get deeper. Because when Ministry of Healing says, Disease is an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health. In case of sickness, ascertain the cause. There was a medical missionary who actually shared that this past weekend at church. The problem that I have is that a lot of medical missionaries are stopping there. You know, for the doctors, what they do, they will give you drugs and so forth. But the medical missionary will offer herbs. That's fine. That's great. But even though I just gave you Ministry of Healing page 127, there's a... another quote, another text that we should be paying attention to. Alright? And that one is Exodus 15, 26. Let me go there now. Exodus 15. Okay. Trying to get this to cooperate with me. Exodus 15, 26. I should have this memorized actually. I guess I do partially. And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians. For I am the Lord that healeth thee. This is what it says. This is the promise. And it's like we just forget this. Or we don't really read and see what it's actually saying. One quote that I... I state back when I'm doing my memory and studying the Word of God is 2 Chronicles 7, 14. If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin. Which is a big step in and of itself. You're forgiven. And will heal their land. Last night I was looking up another quote, and came across something I never read before, and I'm going to read it for you now. And this quote, in fact I sent it to my family last night. My wife had already gone to sleep. And um... This is taken from... You know you get these letters, these initials... I need to check and see what it is. I'm sorry. CTBH. Okay, I got it. It's Christian Temperance and Bible Hygiene. And let me confirm that. Yes, that's what we have. And this is page... 162. And it says... The consciousness of right doing... The consciousness of right doing is the best medicine for diseased bodies and minds. In other words... Christ did not go around... Giving people herbs and telling them to go do hydrotherapy over here, and this one do this. Because He's the source of life. Now, don't get me wrong. If you're not going to go straight to Christ and say, I'm going to follow Him. And serve Him. If you're not going to do that, then the next best step to do is, yes, go ahead and do the hydrotherapy, do whatever it is. Rather than take the meds. But ultimately, the reason why you're sick is because of sin. The reason why you're sick is because of unforgiveness. The reason why you're sick is because of something that broke down spiritually. And that is the root of the problem. And our bodies were not made to live in sin. And that's how we act. That's how we behave. When the medical missionary comes and says, OK, you can do hydrotherapy. That's great. But we're trying to heal in sin. The hydrotherapy may work nicely and so forth, but there may still be sin involved somewhere. And we were not created to just live in sin. The enemy wants us to believe that. We grew up with that belief. Everyone gets sick. Everyone sins. That's not how it's supposed to be. And that is not the demonstration that God's people were supposed to give to the world. When we were supposed to be the head and not the tail. We're so fearfully and wonderfully made that we have existed like this. But it was never supposed to be. So now, when we are a few years away from the crisis that's coming, and by the way, I said a few years away, I think that the mild version is right upon us. The crisis is going to grow and get crazy until you have the actual crisis. But now is the time to come out of Babylon. Out of the way she thinks. Out of the way she operates. I remember that doctor telling me that if you don't want the drugs and the treatments from Babylon, we have to stop acting like Babylon. And the way that we eat and things like that. But it's time now to give God our whole heart. Step to Christ says, God's promise is, Ye shall seek me and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. The whole heart must be yielded to God. Or the change can never be wrought in us by which we are to be restored to His likeness. And that's Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. That's what He's waiting for. And we are the generation that is supposed to do it. It's time. This is by nature. We are alienated from God. The Holy Spirit describes our condition in such words as these. Dead in trespasses and sins. The whole head is sick. And the whole heart faint. No sound is in it. We are held fast in the snare of Satan. Taken captive by him at his will. God desires to heal us. To set us free. Is this not what He did when He walked this earth? But since this requires an entire transformation, a renewing of our whole nature, we must yield ourselves wholly to Him. Now, that's who steps to Christ. Chapter 5, Consecration. And it gets into what does it mean to give up everything? Because there are things in our lives we don't want to give up? In fact, there are things in our lives we feel like we're fine. We're good Christians. We go do this. We do that. We pay our tithe. We do all of this. God's not going to require me to give up this little thing over here. Or, you know, this sports team. You just root for them. That's all. Not a big deal. But God gave up everything for us. Why is there anything at all that we're trying to hold on to our affections? God says, whatever has your affections, give it to me. I gave up everything for you. Can you be selfless? See, it is only then that the power of God can fill you and do what He's going to do. Remember, God is not trying to compete. He's not trying to compete. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. So He'll stand at the door and knock. And when you have made the decision for Him... See, this is why, when you read down here, in Septuagint, this is page 47, Many are inquiring, How am I to make the surrender of myself to God? You desire to give yourself to Him, but you are weak in moral power, in slavery to doubt, and controlled by the habits of your life of sin. Your promises and resolutions are like ropes of sand. You cannot control your thoughts, your impulses, your affections, the knowledge of your broken promises and forfeited pledges weakens your confidence in your own security and causes you to feel that God cannot accept you. See, God gets that. But it goes on to say, But you need not despair. What you need to understand is the true force of the will. This is the governing power in the nature of man, the power of decision or of choice. Everything depends on the right action of the will, the power of choice God has given to man. It is there to exercise. You cannot change your heart. You cannot of yourself give to God its affections. But you can choose to serve Him. You can make that choice. It's a decision. You can give Him your will. He will then work in you to will and to do according to His good pleasure. Thus, your whole nature will be brought under the control of the Spirit of Christ. Your affections will be centered upon Him. Your thoughts will be in harmony with Him. See, all these little things that pull you, and they'll do it. Mark, I'm here. All these little things in your life that pull your affections. Mark, you're ignoring me. I'm here. See, your greatest enemy is going to be your flesh. But you have little victories day by day. Just give it to God. I hear this thing calling me, but I'm giving it to God. Minute by minute, moment by moment. And you know what? With each victory, you're like, Yes! Praise the Lord. Got through that one. We can choose to serve Him. Now, when we choose to serve Him, of course we know that our flesh is going to act up. But that's when the little victories, we're just giving God our will. Um... That quote that I shared with you earlier. Let me read it again. CTBH, page 162. The consciousness of right doing is the best medicine for diseased bodies and minds. Wow. Let's go on. The special blessing of God resting upon the receiver. Listen to this now. The special blessing of God resting upon the receiver is health and strength. A person whose mind is quiet and satisfied in God is in the pathway to health. To have a consciousness that the eyes of the Lord are upon us, that His ears are open to our prayers is a satisfaction indeed. To know that we have a never-failing friend to whom we can confide all the secrets of the soul is a privilege which words can never express. Those whose moral faculties are beclouded by disease are not the ones rightly to represent the Christian life or the beauties of holiness. And it doesn't seem like our whole church is sick or we get sick all the time. They are too often in the fire of fanaticism or the water of cold indifference or stolid gloom. The words of Christ are of more worth than the opinions of all the physicians in the universe. Friends, we have to get in the mode and the mindset of letting go of sin and giving God our will. If you are dealing with any physical ailment right now you need to right now make that claim. I want to give God my will. Why? The woman who had the issues for 12 years this is what I believe. We are told that for 12 years she went to all the physicians. She tried everything that the world had to give her. There was no YouTube back then. There was no TikTok or Instagram or any of these foolish things that can distract you and take you away from the simple life and away from simply just focusing on Jesus Christ. And I think that's what she did. She focused on Him. To the point where the Holy Spirit filled her and said if I can only touch the hem of His garment. Garment representing character. Garment representing character. And she only touched the hem of it. And was made whole. If you are dealing with anything I believe if you give your whole I mean whatever it is that's in your life like David, Lord search my heart what needs to come out if there are people you have not forgiven if there are any affections still in your life things that you still have an affection for and a love for that does not give glory to God but we've never been taught that these things would be bad in our lives all of these kingdoms of the world that Satan's involved in but we never saw any harm in it we never saw any harm in it but we never saw any harm in it whatever it is give everything every affection, everything to God let it go and when the power of God fills your body I believe disease has to go according to the promises that we read now granted there are some natural things we can do and we should do that, that should be our mindset but our first thing is that we need to get rid of all sin in our lives and let God have his way in us I believe people will be healed just like when Christ walked around healing those people there was something I was going to share with you guys in fact brother Nick sent me something but I may have to wait until maybe Friday or tomorrow, we'll see let's have a word of prayer right now because I kind of went over time Father thank you so much for your life that you lived here on this earth as a demonstration for us and it's amazing what you did the mystery of godliness how could human flesh contain God but Father when you became a man you didn't do anything we couldn't do forgive sins and so forth but with everything else you worked through the heavenly father because you became a man you became man for us forever and we pray that we would do the same thing in terms of holding on to you as you held on to your father and fill our lives may we give you our will this will be the talk of the universe throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity and help us to do so today be with us father please forgive us for all of our sins and please continue to work with us in Jesus name amen there's a lot more we have to share and we need to pray for each other and we need to help each other we're working on this platform by God's grace we'll have it either this week or next week where those of us who have gotten together with the scripture club we're going to come together and we're going to recite to each other and working on this same thing and getting our lives right and getting our lives right exactly where God would have us to be and we'll give you more information on that soon may God bless you we appreciate you we thank you love you we look forward to seeing you again next time next time next time next time next time next time next time next time next time next time next time next time next time next time
