After-Glow

"After-Glow" is a poem by Susan Coolidge, an American children's author who wrote under the pen name Susan Coolidge. The poem was recorded by LibriVox volunteers as part of their Fortnightly Poetry project in July 2021. Coolidge worked as a nurse during the American Civil War and later became a writer, best known for her classic children's novel What Katy Did. The poem "After-Glow" is a beautiful and reflective work that captures the peaceful and serene moments that follow a sunset.
