It's the Electro Waveshow with Stuart Calder, a request show featuring a mix of new and classic electronic music. Stuart promotes the radio station, Big Sat Suma Radio, and encourages listeners to explore the various shows and music available. He thanks listeners for their song requests and mentions some contributors. He plays a variety of tracks, including remixes and songs by artists like The Rude Awakening, Rodney Cromwell, C9, Faithless, Kraftwerk, Working Men's Club, and Mike Stark. It's nearly 8 o'clock UK time, it's Friday and that means that the Electro Waveshow which Stuart called up is about to start. Don't just watch it, don't just listen. Get yourself involved with Facebook. Get involved with the very best, the new and classic electronic musica. Come on, let's see what they do. Welcome to the Electro Waveshow with Stuart Calder. Hello, hello, good evening and welcome to the Electro Waveshow. Here we are, Friday night again. They come around so quickly nowadays. It's 8pm, here we are on Big Sat Suma Radio, the greatest radio station in the world. I'm saying that not light heartedly, I think we're really really good. We've got some really good shows on the station, play really good music during the day time and we have all these different shows. If you haven't heard all the shows that we have to offer you, please go on the website and go and find them and go and listen to these great shows. Some are really eclectic, a little bit out there but they're so so good. We've got more stuff coming up in the next few weeks and months at the stand anyway so stay tuned, check out the website for more details. Like I say, tonight's show is a request show. It's the second of the request shows. We did one last week and you guys gave me some really good music and you've again given me more music. I've got about 50 or 60 tracks I think I got in total. Played the first batch last week, second batch this week and you haven't let me down at all. You guys know your stuff and know how good your music is so I really can't fault you. I'm not going to say what I'm playing before I play it but the people who have actually contributed are people like Robert Reed and James Johnson, Leslie Humphrey, Jamie King, doesn't go on the chat but he does listen to the show, Marie Williamson, Mick Heaton, same, doesn't go on the chat but listens to the show, Kevin Alberger over in the States, John Coleman from the Midlands, Dave Sewell from Liverpool, all sorts of people have contributed and I thank you so much for that. Kurt and Bridget have also offered us track up and we'll play their track first and foremost. The track they've chosen is their own track, it's The Rude Awakening, It's OK Not To Be OK which has a really good message behind it anyway and we'll play that, it's a Tin Gun remix and I don't think it's been played that often, the Tin Gun remix one, so we'll kick off the show with that tonight. Stay with us, great music coming up but here we go, this is The Rude Awakening, It's OK Not To Be OK. It's OK Not To Be OK. It's OK Not To Be OK. She's a rebel and a legend kind Better on the bar than walking blind She's a rebel and a legend kind Better on the bar than walking blind Beating back with leather shoes She's a rebel and a legend kind Beating back with leather shoes She's a rebel and a legend kind She's a rebel and a legend kind A man in a black raincoat She's a rebel, she's a rebel, but it's bad A man in a black raincoat A man in a black raincoat A man in a black raincoat A man in a black raincoat On FM, on the radio, radio and online On FM, on the radio, radio and online So I'm a rebel, I'm not a twat My vibe's just as horrified of as Trump I'm not the kind of youth who'd spend another day Taking my time to learn the ball game So I'm a rebel, I'm not a twat My vibe's just as horrified of as Trump I'm not the kind of youth who'd spend another day Taking my time to learn the ball game So I'm a rebel, I'm not a twat My vibe's just as horrified of as Trump I'm not the kind of youth who'd spend another day Taking my time to learn the ball game So I'm a rebel, I'm not a twat My vibe's just as horrified of as Trump I'm not the kind of youth who'd spend another day Taking my time to learn the ball game So I'm a rebel, I'm not a twat Big thank you to Gary's Boats for that Rodney Cromwell comrade And if you like that kind of music go and follow Gary over on Spotify So I'm a rebel, I'm not a twat My vibe's just as horrified of as Trump I'm not the kind of youth who'd spend another day Taking my time to learn the ball game Every day is a bad dream To live your life in hope and fear That each small step in perfection Is buried deep beyond detection But one by one the ghost risen And each selected place to burn into Your shattered, breaking heart And this is how the aching starts The jokes about the ugly The things you said but never did The people torn and crushed and battered The ones you professed should have flattered Oh you should have run once you had time Oh you should have left the past behind Oh, oh, oh, oh The voices of the cameras are singing to you The lies are soft, the tears are in you The girls you left, they'll always love you But you're a part of the fucking now So wash away the dirty skin The softest words remain swimming The streets look better instead of that But each should have their counterfact Oh, things that say no charity The false beliefs of humility No running back, no guarantee No way to escape for you and me Oh you should have run once you had time Oh you should have left the past behind Oh, oh, oh, oh The voices of the cameras are singing to you The lies are soft, the tears are in you The girls you left, they'll always love you The first words of mine are for you Everyone should have their counterfact Oh, oh, oh, oh The fans of the world, they'll fall back to everything It is time to find your mind and run away Believe in what you can hide Don't believe in the speed and high They'll come knocking at your door This is not the way they're supposed You can't believe in what they're supposed Oh, oh, oh, oh The voices of the cameras are singing to you The lies are soft, the tears are in you The girls you left, they'll always love you The first words of mine are for you Everyone should have their counterfact Oh, oh, oh, oh The fans of the world, they'll fall back to everything It is time to find your mind and run away Oh, oh, oh, oh The fans of the world, they'll fall back to everything It is time to find your mind and run away You can tell us OMB are a mile off, can't you? That track is the boy from The Chemist is here to see you Taken from the album Universal Thank you very much to Robert Reed for sending me that request Really good track One of the tracks that doesn't get played very often I don't know why, because it's cool We've got the old C9 next And it's the first man in space Nigel Parker's chosen this little baby I was the first man in space on a street I had to leave my wife and kids behind It was a chance I could not pass upon It was the journey of a lifetime I threw away my packing up As they were waving me bye-bye Sometimes all I need is the air that I breathe And the air that I breathe is so thin I get high And I'm floating like God in his heaven High in the stratosphere Darling come quick, you can see our house from here Seems I'm better than on the entry Bones that have crumbled to dust It was luck that I kept them together But now I'm finding it hard to adjust How you supposed to open these little milk cartons? Why don't they make golden nuggets no more? Where was the ticket gate to Sydney's reception? How come no one wants to know what I saw? And I'm floating like God in his heaven High in the stratosphere Darling come quick, you can see our house from here And I'm floating like God in his heaven High in the stratosphere Darling come quick, you can see our house from here Luxor Rock, helium light bulbs Parties with no atmosphere Spaceship cold, home is cold And when you come home at night and there's nobody here And I'm floating like God in his heaven High in the stratosphere Darling come quick, you can see our house from here And I'm floating like God in his heaven High in the stratosphere Darling come quick, you can see our house from here And I'm floating like God in his heaven That is the old C&I's first man in space with Phil O'Keey on vocals as you can probably tell from the album Pickled Eggs and Sherbet from 1999 And I'm floating like God in his heaven That's information you didn't know isn't it? Okay this track is er, is that Baba Ali? Love Baba Ali, this has got an idea, thank you Angela Bulger for sending me this one In a clean cold room Just me and you Lickin' the wall fly Don't get much fun alive Take these new shoes loose Never much to do I got an idea Whisper it in your ear Looks like that moment's just a song Nowhere to find this chunk Let's light a house fire Run it through white light And no more love for rainbows and stairs They don't care if that old car's What's the next big idea? Let's light it up and make a star Windows to nowhere Reach for thin air I'm burning my fears Till the water's clear And now that's just a truck Rolling in legacy dust I got an idea Roll out the right gear And no more love for rainbows and stairs They don't care if that old car's What's the next big idea? Let's light it up and make a star Don't have to love me Plugged into your machine Swimming in root cause Let's buy a blue glow Zoom into motion Sound into dorsal I'm using clear Hide the atmosphere And no more love for rainbows and stairs They don't care if that old car's What's the next big idea?
