Today we will be talking about extreme and difficult sports with our guest of the day, the professional surfer who won the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Luisa Liz! How are you, Luisa? Hi, Laura, I'm fine. So, is this your first time being interviewed in a podcast? Yes, it's my first time and I'm so nervous. Relax, we understand you. Now, pass the microphone to Babichan. Luisa, it's great to have you here at SPORTCAST. Can you talk a little about your career and your sport? First of all, thank you for inviting me. I'm really happy to be here. Surfing is a very dangerous sport and requires attention from those who protect it. I started surfing when I was 15 and today I'm a professional in the area. The Olympic Games were very complicated because the Holy Word is watching you, and you realize that any mistake can be fatal. I was very nervous at first, but I got used to it. I imagine how it must be. So, which game do you think was the most difficult or dangerous that you ever did? Like, in Olympic Games or in anywhere? In fact, it was a championship. I needed to go through in a wave of almost 10 meters. It was sinister. It must be really difficult. How did you stand? Did you win? Yes, with all my sport and type 5 neurotic training, I managed to win. My God accompanied me and helped me wherever I go. I regret the disappointment, but I think it's really cool to jump with a parachute, but I'm afraid. Well, it was terrifying. I was on a family trip and I decided to go to the beach. Everything was quiet up there, but I decided to get in the water to surf. That's when a huge shark bit my arm and my board. I started to bleed a lot and my family was very worried. We rushed to the hospital. The pain was unbearable. The pain was unbearable and they really thought I was going to die. Thank God everything worked out and I recovered well. This is an example of how risky this sport is. Jeez, that's weird and totally in keeping with our team. Imagine going through situations like this in other extreme sports, like cycling, skateboarding, water polo and others. This is an example of an incredible situation for me, because it is a situation in which my head went a thousand and I go through a lot. But I had the support of my family, especially my husband, Vinny Hacker. They were the ones who gave me strength to participate in the Olympics. Our sport has the level of difficulty, but extreme sports not only deal with extreme things, but with things that influence our lives.
