The speaker introduces themselves as trained in anthropology and ethnography, studying people in their everyday lives and cultural context. They have used their knowledge to gain insights into social behavior through research and personal experiences. They emphasize the importance of maintaining a curious mindset and switching between different perspectives. They have applied social scientific techniques in their relationships and work, using them to question themselves and others. They also mention being inspired by regenerative movement, holistic developmental psychology, and spirituality, combining mindfulness with developmental models. The goal is to enrich everyday life and become more conscious. So, who am I to host this podcast? Well, I'm trained within the field of anthropology, or you can say the practice of doing ethnography. That means simply to study people in their everyday lives, in their everyday context, in their cultural context. So, it's about understanding the practices, but also the, you can say, the medicine bottles, the culture, the rituals, the language that binds the culture together. So, understanding those patterns. And in my professional life, of course, I've benefited from delivering insights about social behavior based on observational research, interviews, in-depth research from social science and anthropology. I've treated my life as fieldwork. So, having different positions within marketing and sales and in my family life and relationships, constantly trying to have this curious mindset, almost like a child or an alien, in fact. So, you kind of see, perceive from the outside. Of course, you have to know the divine dichotomy between being inside and outside. You have to be both. You have to have this dialectic of switching between the positions. And sometimes having an analytical scientific distance to a material. For instance, when you are in the field to make observations, and then you come back to the field and you reflect in a different state emotionally, mentally, and so forth. So, it's about enriching my everyday life and using those social scientific techniques that I have learned throughout 10 years now. And I have applied them every day since. Especially in my relationship to myself, my children, my life partner, my family members, friends, and at work. Also, these are the tools to question yourself and other people, and also observe and how to listen. But, there's also another component to it, that's the maps, the frameworks. And there, I'm very inspired from the so-called regenerative movement, holistic developmental psychology, but also spirituality, to kind of apply mindfulness in combination with various developmental models. I will come back to that later. But, for now, it's about simply to unfold and enrich your everyday life. To become more conscious. And, I'd love to do that. That's the way it is. So, stop the recording.
