Welcome to Sunshine Sundays, a show that encourages finding churches to attend and reading about Jesus. Caleb shares about the powerful presence of God at Big Springs Church. God can use anything and turn it into something great. It's powerful to invite God into relationships. Repentance means turning away from sin. Amazing Grace by Chris Tomlin is a popular song. God delights in us when we do His will. With God, we can do anything. God's love knows no bounds. We were created to fellowship with God. Welcome to Sunshine Sundays, that's S-O-N as in the Son of God, Jesus, the light of the world. This is Rachel Lee from Tennessee, I'm so glad you're joining us. We have a special featured preacher today, Caleb, he's going to talk to us about what's been going on at Big Springs Church in Meaden, Tennessee. We also have my co-host here, Andrea, introduce yourself Andrea K. Hello, hello, Sunshine Sundays, I'm so excited to be here. We are going to be joining you from 7 to 8 a.m. on Sundays to help you find churches to go to. We want to encourage you to get in your word, read about Jesus, we just want to glorify him, shine the light on him, and let you decide where you want to go to church. We just want to encourage you to join together with other believers. The Bible does say, don't forsake the gathering together of other believers, even if we're just able to gather in spirit, we want to gather together with you on Sunday mornings, and then tell you where you can go worship if you'd like to. One of the places that I would definitely recommend is Caleb's church at Big Springs. Caleb, tell us what's been going on at your church. Well, at Big Springs Church in Meaden, Tennessee, God is moving in power. I have a hard time fathoming what God is doing. We're a little bitty church with a big old God out in the middle of nowhere, but every Sunday we're willing to show up and seek him, he appears. The teaching, the fellowship, it's just the atmosphere. When the presence of God is with you and in your immediate area, it's powerful. It changes people, and that's what it's designed to do. Encounters with God should not allow us to leave as we were when we encountered him. That's the power of the presence of God, and we have been finding that at Big Springs Church on a regular basis. He keeps showing up, so we keep praising him for it, and we keep believing he's going to do it again, and we keep coming back and hope that everybody enjoys the presence of God because he loves us all, and his sacrifice was for all of us. And worshiping him, it almost comes naturally now because of all of the goodness. I love feeling his presence. There's nothing like it. I have to tell you, if you have not experienced the true presence of God, you need to. Just ask him. It's so amazing that he honors us as humans as his vessels. He chooses to live in us. I mean, how amazing is that? He could exist any way he wants to on earth. He could sit on a big gold throne and point his finger and tell us what to do, but he chooses to use us and abide in us and live through us, and it's just amazing to me that he would use Lillo Me, Lillo Country Church, Caleb Scott over there, and I mean, he can use anything we give him. He truly can use anything you give him and turn it into something great. He can make a blessing even out of your messes, even out of your mistakes. He loves to make miracles out of mistakes because he's God and he can. I love that about him, and so I understand what Caleb's saying, that it's just so powerful to be in his presence no matter where you are, and it's awesome that he is wherever you invite him. The only thing that limits God is us not asking, so if you want to know if God still exists here on earth, yes, he exists everywhere you take him. He is not going to push himself on you because he allows you to have free will, but that's what's so special about it. It's just like in any other relationship that you have. He wants you to want him. We're created to need him. Did you know that? Some people go their whole lives trying to fill a void inside them with people, places, and things that they're not supposed to have, and it's because we feel emptiness when we don't have him. We're created to need him, and so I think it's amazing what God's doing. I've been to visit at Caleb's church, and I can definitely tell you the presence of the Holy Spirit is there, and Andrea, when she sings, she's a praise leader. I will say she is a praise leader, and she has done a lot just joining me in ministry. I've had an online ministry for 12 years now, since 2012, and Andrea came alongside me, and it's just done wonders for what God is able to do because he says a cord of three strands is not easily broken, so when you put God in your relationships with other people and that strand becomes three, that's not easily broken, so we're doing some powerful things, and you yourself can do some powerful things if you just invite God in, especially in things like marriages, or father-son relationships, or mother-daughter, or sisters. I mean, it's powerful when you invite God in because now you have three in agreement, and God says whenever two or three are gathered in agreement, as touching in agreement, that he's there with you. So it's amazing to me to see some of the miracles I've seen over the years, and just that all it takes is us asking, but sometimes we forget to ask. You know, God never leaves us. He never turns away from us. He's there waiting with open arms, and all you have to do is do a complete roundabout if you're headed the wrong direction, and that roundabout that you turn 180 degrees is called repentance. It's a military term. I like to do word studies, if you guys don't know. That's my specialty. I like to look up the Hebrew and Greek meaning of things, and the word repent just means to do a 180 degree turn and walk the other direction, and now you're walking with God if you've turned away from your sin, and walking with God, you're walking away from the evil, and to repent in military means we're not going back to enemy territory. So how powerful is that, that all you have to do is ask him. Take his hand. He's there waiting with open arms, and to hold your hand and walk with you, and all you have to do is turn away from the sin. The Bible says if you rebuke the devil, he has to leave from you. That's amazing to me, that all we have to do is tell him no, tell God yes, and ask God to go with us, but how often do we do that on a daily basis? How often do we forget to do that on a daily basis? I know I do. I have to remind myself all the time, hey, did you ask God? You know, when starting this radio show, I was asking myself, do I need to do this? What I should have been asking myself was, God, do you want me to do this? And I finally did, so here we are. I heard Andrea sing some beautiful music last weekend, and she likes to study songs. So Andrea, tell us about the song that you studied most recently. I sang Amazing Grace by My Chains Are Gone by Chris Tomlin. Amazing Grace was actually written in the 1700s by a slave trader, and God changed his life, and it wasn't immediate. It was like most of us. You know, it took time for him to follow God's rules and what God wanted for his life, and when he did, that's when he wrote Amazing Grace. And then Chris Tomlin took it and added to it, and he actually put the last verse back in it that was originally written. It had been taken out, and he put it back in. So I think it's just amazing how God could take something from the 1700s and make it new today. And it's very popular, and it's a really great song. If you haven't heard it, you might go listen to it. He does a really good job with it. And I wanted to talk some more about God's love for us. We truly are his children. He made us in his image, and why do you think that our children look like us? When you look at those little faces, and you see your child, and when they do something that reminds you of yourself, don't you delight in that? And don't you think God does the same thing when he looks at us, and when we're doing what he has called us to do, or we do something according to his will? He delights in that. It makes him happy. And there's nothing more precious than to know that you're doing what God has called you to do. That's an awesome revelation. You're right. There's nothing like knowing that you're in the will of God. If he's with you, you can do anything. Philippians 4.13 says he's our strength. When he strengthens us, we can do all things. Right, Pastor Caleb? Right. What I can tell you from personal experience and watching so many countless other examples, when you add God to the equation, mountains get moved. Chains get broken. Obstacles get overcome. Life becomes manageable. It becomes tolerable. The goodness of God, when you accept Jesus Christ into your heart, it knows no bounds. It has no rival, and nothing can contain what God can do. God lives outside of our realm of understanding. The first seven words of the Bible, in the beginning, God created heaven and earth. Well, for him to have done that, he has to be outside of what we quantify space, time, and matter. He created all of those. So if he's created everything we use to measure by, he's unaffected by all of it, which means he has complete and total control over everything at all times, because he is omnipotent, and he is God. That is one of his characteristics. And the fact that a God who created heaven and earth and everything in it can love you so much and care specifically for you, it blows me away. It makes me feel special. You know, you were talking about a hole. We have a Jesus-sized hole. And there is a reason in the Bible Jesus said, There is a reason in the Bible Jesus said, I am the bread of life. I am the living water. Because what you go through in life, searching for, trying to fill a void, trying to fill a hunger, a thirst for something, the entire time, it was Jesus. It was an absence of Jesus. We were created in fellowship with God. We were created to fellowship with God. And when our body is not fellowshiping with God, our soul cries out for God. So for God to have created us, humans, he didn't do it because he needed us. He didn't do it for our obedience. He had angels, who he also created, who will do his bidding. They know he exists. They answer and follow out of almost like a healthy fear, of respect for who God is. We, on the other hand, have to choose God. We have to believe that he is real. We have to believe that he exists. And he rewards the faith. That's why faith is so important. It only takes the faith of a mustard seed to move mountains. But applying that faith at first can be difficult. We all understand the problems that it poses because we've been there. We also, at one time, had to put our trust in God. We are all today still talking about how good God is because he rewarded that faith. He showed us, if you believe in me, I will show you signs and wonders. I will show you why you're in good hands. And we get to experience it on a daily basis. Jesus told us in Matthew 7, 7, If you seek, you will find. If you knock, the door will be opened. If you ask, it will be given. Because God rewards our seeking. The Bible also tells us that when we seek God with all our heart, we will find him. And the goodness at the end of that search is unimaginable for somebody who hasn't experienced it. Because, like I said, God is not affected by our terms of measurements. So we can't explain how good he truly is because there's no words for it. When God moves in power, it's miraculous. That's who God is and that's what God does. And he does it on a daily basis still today. Moment by moment, glory to glory. You said something else, Caleb, that really spoke to my heart and it reminded me of a definition, again, that I had looked up. That holy reverence, reverence is the term I think I would use for that healthy fear you're talking about. And there's a verse in the Bible that I didn't understand when I was younger so I looked it up because I wanted to know why does the fear of God, why is that the beginning of wisdom? The Bible says the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. And I was like, why am I supposed to be afraid of you, God? I love you. You're good to me. And then I came to understand that definitions can change the way we see some of the things and I learned what the fear of God is. It's a healthy reverence. And that reminds me of something else that God showed me. I've known people who have struggled with guilt and I know that that fuels addiction. I've had some experience with people in my life who have struggled with addiction and it's fueled I think a lot of times by guilt. And so I asked God and he showed me that the difference between guilt and the healthy recognition of his righteousness is what's going to change how you react to looking at your past. And so I've seen people set free set free from that guilt and shame that the devil likes to use as a tool to get people to go back to the things that they think they need when they really need God but the devil's got them fooled into thinking that they need this other thing or this other person or this other place and they go back to unhealthy places in their mind because of that guilt and that shame. So it's a tool of the devil. So what we replace that with is the holy recognition of his righteousness. That reverence for God. And when we do that something powerful happens. Ooh, I got Holy Spirit chills. Do you get those? I do and I'm experiencing them. The Bible says that the healthy fear of God is where wisdom begins because the reverence you're talking about once we understand that he is God and we are not then we can start understanding what he's capable of. Once we take ourselves down to where we belong in our rightful place at looking up at him for all of his glory we don't have a problem asking him to move mountains because we know that he's capable at that point. When we put ourselves on the same pedestal as God or bring him down to our level it's hard to think that he's going to do anything. But that healthy reverence that healthy respect for who he truly is it brings things into perspective. It makes it a little easier to say you know what, you can do this because you are God and I am not and I'm going to trust you with it. And I think that doing part is so key because if you're doing it without asking him you're doing it in your own power but if you're doing it with him it's exponentially powerful and that's where the miracles take place. We experience miracles daily I think we just don't see them sometimes but I believe every day you're experiencing miracles. If you wake up that morning if you open your eyes, if you make it to work without running into a million other things on the road. I think miracles happen daily and we just don't recognize God for who he is for having that power and sometimes we fail to put things in his hands When you're talking about thinking that we're God and I'm sitting here thinking, oh I would never think I'm God but you know what? We all do things without asking him and so that is in effect acting like we're God. You know, when you think oh I got this and you don't go ask him, that's in effect being God and another thing that some people really struggle with that I've witnessed is believing that something else has the power to take care of your problems that's making that thing a God that's worshiping a false God Think about it, if you're going to something every single day to be okay that's making that thing your God and so that's a really powerful revelation too when we come to the understanding that we're acting like God or we're making something a God instead of going to the Holy Creator Father God and giving him his rightful place in our lives and letting him play the role of God and giving everything over to him You're not going to figure life out until you figure out that he is who he is. When you come to an understanding of who he is and who you are in him man, everything changes. It's a it's like a light switch flips, literally the light of the world comes on. We're created to worship that's the simple truth, there's no if, ands or buts about it We as human beings are created to worship What we choose to worship is up to us We're either worshipping our cell phone or worshipping that person that we're with that we're constantly trying to please and get the approval of we're worshipping that substance that drink, that pill, whatever the issue may be, we're worshipping that money. It doesn't matter what we worship, we can't help but worship something and we have to seek and choose to worship God. We have to make sure that what we're doing isn't putting something in God's place God is God God is at the top and everything we pay attention to instead of God we are substituting for God When we can't control that we worship we can only control what we worship and it's very important to make sure that you are applying any of your time towards seeking God Blessings follow obedience and if we're not willing to even search for him if we're not willing to even look at his word, if we're not willing to even talk to him on any kind of regular basis he's not God in our lives and it's just a simple fact. We have to choose to put him on the top we have to choose to keep him there because this world is designed to distract us and keep us from worshipping a holy God And there's another word I've done a study on holy. You know what the definition of holy is? Set apart The definition of holy is set apart. So what does that tell you about how we're supposed to be conditioned to live in this world you know, what are you set apart from and what are you set apart for? We're set apart for God's glory and we're supposed to be set apart from anything that contradicts him, anything that takes you away from him and so it says in the Bible to be holy as he is holy and some people think that's unattainable. It is unattainable without him but with him you become the very definition of holy, set apart and all you have to do is ask him. Isn't that amazing? Isn't that amazing? Are there any songs that sing about that, Andrea? You're our song specialist I'm sure there are You want to sing for us today? I'm not She's not up to singing on our first episode but one day we're going to get her to sing on here. I've written a song too so one day we're going to sing for you but today we're just talking We're so glad that you're joining us so I'm enjoying getting to talk about God just anytime you feel like you're in his presence with other people it's an honor and a blessing So we want to invite people to come to church We're in South Jackson if you don't know where that is We're in kind of a small town feel right now and Caleb's church is in Meaden which is even smaller I think it's got like the lowest population Fun fact, I was actually city recorder one time for Meaden Yeah, so I held a political position there but it's like the tiniest town and so they sent me to this accounting class where I was with other people that were city recorders and Meaden's not like other cities. We don't have utilities and things like that there but they have a fire department now. That's cool. So let's talk a little bit about Meaden This is where Caleb's Big Springs church is. If you turn right off of Highway 18 it looks like you're in the middle of nowhere not very many things through there. There's a Dollar General and a bar a couple of other establishments that we're not going to give you directions to but so there's some things there but we want you to turn right off of 18 what's the name of that road? Swink Road or Big Springs Road drive what about 3 miles down? Drive past the part where you think you've gone the wrong way Once you think you've gone the wrong way it's right up past that. Just keep going and you'll come around a turn and you'll see a building and a cemetery and a pavilion and suddenly you'll realize oh this is the right way this is the place and then you pull up and park and come on in and get fed spiritually 11am right? 11am on Sunday so you've got plenty of time to get there so go ahead and put it in your map Big Springs Church in Meaden, Tennessee No I don't have time to get to church we'll restart it a little later to take care of that because you do still have time to make it to our church it is a little farther out there that's why we start a little later If you seek you will find it and it's going to be worth the drive Awesome Maybe you might get to hear Andrea sing I was going to tell you where Meaden got it's name they were having a meeting and trying to decide the name and someone got up and said Meaden and that's the name of the town I heard that story but I heard it was somebody traveling and they were tired of traveling so they were like Meaden so here I am establishing a town Either way somebody said Meaden and that's the name of the town Yep so we have some southern roots there for sure if you can't tell by our accents already we are southerners tried and true but we're proud of it because people are nice here we're in the bible belt we really are blessed to be where we are because we're set apart definitely feel set apart when you're way out in the country you're going to pass a few cows there might be a couple in the road so just go slow and make sure when you go around those curbs you don't hit all the cattle if they're out but if you do we can have steak and it'll be ok just have a nice Sunday drive people used to just get out and drive on Sundays yes I enjoyed going out there and I came out and enjoyed having a Sunday drive just take your coffee with you play the music make sure the kids have their tablets in the back turn your hotspot on there's not much wifi out there we also are live on facebook big springs church inc just follow us and you'll see us when we go live it's not quite as far of a drive to click on facebook but we give that option and if you like what you see come on out and check us out so they're live every Sunday when he preaches big springs church on facebook you'll be able to see him there Caleb tell us a little bit about your trip that you took during that snow storm and what was going on with the youth oh man that was just another example of God moving in power we partnered with another church that I'm licensed and ordained through and I have a lot of brothers in ministry there but the youth pastor and I, we kind of started together and man I love him he is so awesome but we got together and we took the youth from big springs and we took the youth from their church and it was about 45 kids in all and this is the 3rd or 4th year we go every year and it's phenomenal every year it's a program that Scott Dawson puts on he's been going for 30 years probably and we'll leave out on a Saturday morning we'll hit a Saturday night service there they'll have some worship time and they'll have a guest preacher come in and speak and then they'll have a headlining band, Christian band you know close the night and then we have Sunday morning church and it's the same thing Sunday morning and it's the same thing Sunday night and it's the same thing Monday morning all with different preachers, different bands different opportunities to show young people how much fun can be had as a Christian because people think when we become Christians we can't have fun no more that's wrong we party, we have an amazing time because God is good and God loves us and when you're in an environment all praising and worshipping God at the same time it's a show of force on God's behalf He moves in power people are changed, people are affected we had probably 13 or 14 Sunday nights that accepted Christ that made a recommitment that accepted Jesus into their life and it's the same thing every year people are hungry for an experience of God people are craving it and they can't understand what it is until they are brought face to face with the presence of God and it changes people and we had probably 12 or 13 youth who accepted Christ and we talked to them, we ministered to them like we're supposed to do and we got back to the hotel Sunday night and they wanted to be baptized and so it's 2 o'clock on a Monday morning it's already started snowing and we're outside in a hot tub baptizing people because they wanted to go public with their commitment of faith to Jesus and it was it changed them but it'll change you when you watch that many people hungry for Jesus praising a holy God the way He deserves to be praised it it changes you it makes you see things in a different light it makes you remember why we're supposed to tell others about it because there are others starving to hear the word of God there are others starving for an encounter with Jesus so we were the storm hit and we knew that the storm was going to hit we decided to come back Monday morning early instead of going to the services it's already started snowing and we get, I don't know probably 10 miles down the road on the interstate and we get detoured the state troopers have the interstate closed down because it's already starting to get icy and there were a couple of 18-wheelers who had already slid off the road ahead of us so they're detouring us down the highway to bypass it all and we're on a big old charter bus it's getting pretty sketchy the roads are covered it's packing down slippery on this little road we've got a log truck in front of us we've got a church bus full of 15 people from Dyersburg who are afraid to move because they're afraid they're going to slide off the road there was a car behind them that was stuck and slipping and an 18-wheeler behind the car that was directly in front of us tried to bypass the car and we watched him slide off into a ditch then two 18-wheelers behind us we were stuck but we weren't stuck we could still move but we had nowhere to go and couldn't go anywhere because everybody was stuck in front of us so that was a moment where God literally said I'm not going to let you go because I need you to sit tight for a minute and we didn't understand it then but I have always been taught and try to teach we wait patiently but we serve because we are always of use to somebody we can always find a need and meet it no matter what the situation is if we're willing to do so and that's what God wants us to do is help so a couple of the guys and me got off the bus we went and literally all we had to do was touch the car and it started driving so the car has gone out of the way and we tried to back up so his trailer is blocking off the whole road so we went on up ahead to the bus, the church bus the other 15 kids and we were there for probably 5 hours we were stuck sitting still we had a bathroom on our bus they did not so we let them come use the restroom they didn't have any snacks or provisions or anything it was getting close to lunch time we'd been out there for about 4 hours so we fed them the homes that lived beside hopped on a four wheeler and took one of our other leaders to the store and he bought a bunch of snacks for them and we went up and I got to talk to the pastor and he was scared he didn't know what to do he was indecisive but it was because of the safety of his people he didn't want to do anything dangerous to make the situation worse so I got to pray with him I got to minister to him I got to feel the presence of God on that bus and I immediately looked at him and said you're going to be ok we're going to coach you through this we've already been up ahead the road is clear ahead you can get by this truck and you're good we'll help you we got him on the road and moving once he got moved another car was oncoming and spun out trying to turn around so me and four guys literally picked up a car and put it back on the road how? I don't know other than God and most of the time when God moves it can't be explained and it makes no sense because that's how God works and we got to pray with them we got to get them on the road safe and sound and they promised that they were going home and not trying to get out anymore so every step of the way God is giving me opportunities to minister to people and he's helping me meet needs the key was me being willing I could have been sitting on that bus waiting for everything to work out however it was going to work out and not knowing if it ever would but I'm not that type of guy God says go, it doesn't sit right if I don't start going so we're working, we're going everybody has helped all around us and we're still stuck because of the truck in front of us so we're on the bus and David looks at me and he's like what do you think? do you think we can move that trailer? I said I don't know, let's go look and it's an 18 wheeler, it's a flatbed we're not going to move it and one of our other friends was there and he's like there's zero chance y'all are going to be able to move that trailer and something about those words resonated I looked at him and repeated I said zero chance? so David and I exited off the bus and made it to the front of the bus and I hear a commotion to the back and I look around and it's a tractor coming beside the bus and I looked at Johnny and I said zero chance and the tractor comes up and he has to go ask the guy whose yard we will be in to move the trailer and this guy is very very mean, very grumpy not having a good day and we couldn't pray with him but we prayed for him and he refused to let us get into his yard even in the ditch to move the trailer he said if we ain't had enough sense to be out in this stuff we deserve to be stuck in it so we prayed for him bless him I still prayed for him I don't know what was going on but he needs an encounter with God he's just not aware of that so after he's told the tractor driver guy we're sitting there and David says I'm going to go talk to him and I see him approaching the driveway cautiously hiding behind vehicles like he's afraid he's going to get shot and I looked at Johnny and I kind of shook my head and bowed my head and just put my hands towards David in the house and just started praying and I didn't even get three words out of my mouth before the tractor guy says don't even worry about it we've got a bobcat and I just started giggling and I hear Johnny laughing at me giggling because I haven't even got the prayer out yet and God is already moving God has provided everything we need before we were even aware we needed it he does that he's God he knows what's coming he knows how far ahead it's coming and he knows what needs to be in place to take care of his people God loves us more than we could ever imagine and is always always working to provide for us he meets needs when we don't even know their needs yet so the bobcat lifted up the trailer slid it out of the way and we were all clear to get on about our way and being able to look back and tell people all of the different ways that God moved just in that five hour period we found out when we got back on the interstate and stopped at a rest stop that they had opened the interstate back up where we had been detoured and God had us sitting there detoured us from sitting there because there was a 30 car pile up where we were before we got detoured so he moved us out of the way set us down, kept us safe allowed us to help others to get back on their way safe and sound and then allowed us to proceed when the path was cleared all while he was taking care of us we had no idea about the pile up we had no idea about the danger that we were rescued from but we were obedient we did what God said to do and we got to be a blessing because of it and it's just, I get chills telling the story because it's so so powerful, God loves us that's amazing that is amazing, I love when he shows up and shows out and all we have to do is ask but we have to remember to ask that is so awesome and that's what we're doing here today guys we are wanting to shine the light of the world Jesus we are wanting people to know about him come to know him better and we want people to go to church where people talk about God and that's what this show is all about Sunshine Sundays so we want you to visit Caleb's church and we also just want to tell you that if you attend a church and you want to grow your church membership come and talk to us just let us know we're on here every Sunday so just let us know that you want to help us grow church membership in the local community and if you want your pastor to be on here talking we'll get him on here talking, or her and if you are a preacher and you want to talk we are more than happy to let you tell the world why they should come to your church we're all about ministry if you have a non-profit and you're in ministry we want you to grow we want to expand the kingdom of God any way we can and so we are so appreciative of Caleb being here today, I love to hear him talk mostly just because his accent is more country than mine so it makes me sound normal but I love to hear him talk and it's like that every Sunday when you go to his church, you get to hear stories you get to hear about Jesus and he's given some divine revelation to Caleb lately when I'm hearing the things that God's telling me and seeing the things that God's telling Caleb and he's just expanding it's just amazing to me how his knowledge is exponential and he can share it however and whenever he wants to, and I like to call them lightbulb moments, when you get that moment of revelation, it's like a rhema word like r-h-e-m-a rhema, it's different than the logos word, the written word but it's that personal spoken word from God to you, that rhema word oh it's precious, it's precious to me but it is, it's like a lightbulb goes off and it just makes you feel special, like oh God's talking to me, what? and God's doing that in Caleb's church I can tell you his messages he's getting some divine revelation so if you want to come and hear the spoken word of God come to Big Springs Church and we also hope that you will join with us every Sunday because we're going to be sharing what God puts on our hearts and that's the way he chooses to speak to us, is through our hearts and we're going to be sharing whatever God shares with us, and we want you to share what God shares with you, you can visit our Facebook page too, we're at Living Water Bible Studies on Facebook so it's www.facebook.com forward slash Living Water Bible Studies and you can join with us and hear about all the awesome things that God's doing in our lives and hopefully get to hear Andrea sing soon yes, I want to tell Caleb that that was prophetic because it says in Isaiah 65 verse 24 and it shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer and while they are yet speaking I will hear so that's directly out of Isaiah and that's prophetic, so that was amazing he does things when we don't even know he's working isn't that awesome well thank you so much Caleb for joining us today we hope that you'll be back as a regular and that we'll have lots of other featured preachers who want to share about their church because we just want people in our local community knowing that they can go to God for what they need there's a lot out there, especially the age group that you were with recently it's powerful to see God work in that age group because it's an integral stage in your life where it makes you who you are they're deciding who yes, he said it's a defining moment, that's so true because they're deciding who they want to be and so when they know they can reach to God to become who he created them to be it's going to change the world you can teach the young person who God is and incorporate or usher in or whatever you want to call it if you want to help be a part of what God is doing and a young person encounters God while they were young they will never ever ever be able to unknow the presence of God and that feeling and no matter where they go in life they will always know where to come home to it is so important that we teach our youth, our young people our children, who God is and how to encounter God because it will change them forever so what would you say to a young person if someone happens to be listening to this today or even someone who's older who wishes they had encountered God when they were younger what would you say to them today that they could maybe speak out loud to God if they're at home right now just listening to this what would you tell them that could change their life today whatever your obstacle is whatever your struggle is whatever your home life situation is that's defeating you God is bigger God loves you more than you could ever ever imagine and the Bible is very clear on how to accept Jesus Christ the Bible says if you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with your mouth then you will be saved and the Bible says as many as all on Him will be saved if you want to accept Jesus Christ into your life, if you want to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are accepted, you are loved and you will go to Heaven one day and be with Him you just have to say Jesus, I know you love me I know you died for me and I know that you rose again that third day so that I may have a way home to you I know that your sacrifice was out of the greatest greatest love for me Lord, I need you I need you in my life I need you to be a light in my darkness save me Jesus in your name I pray, Amen and if you mean that from the bottom of your heart the Holy Spirit moves into your body that very moment and He intercedes on your behalf He goes to God when you don't have the words He tells God how bad you're hurting when you can't speak or tell anybody else all you have to do is talk to Him He's there, He loves you and He wants to help trust Him it will be the greatest decision you ever made thank you Pastor Caleb that's so true God loves you Jesus is waiting with open arms all you have to do is turn to Him and ask and He's going to be there for you and that's what this Sunshine Sunday is about just shining the light on Jesus so that people can find their way to Him thank you so much Caleb for being here thank you Andrea we're going to be back next week and we're excited so we hope that you will listen in from 7-8am on Sundays to Sunshine Sundays with Rachel Lee from Tennessee and Andrea Kay and our featured preacher which today was Caleb thank you so much enjoy the rest of your Sunshine Sunday Bye
