The first episode of the podcast "Beyond the Veil" discusses the existence of aliens. A Mexican journalist claims to have discovered mummified bodies of aliens with elongated heads and three fingers. Skepticism and skepticism surround the findings, with some labeling it a hoax. There is also a conspiracy theory that the government has been covering up the existence of aliens. The guests on the podcast have differing opinions on the existence of aliens. The second part of the podcast discusses the Illuminati and the MK Ultra program, which allegedly aimed to study mind control. Celebrities like Cardi B and Madonna have been linked to the Illuminati. There is also a theory that the Illuminati orchestrated events like 9/11 and school shootings. The guest, who is part of a sorority, dismisses the notion that sororities are cults. The conspiracy theories discussed may impact how we understand history. Hey conspiracy theorists, welcome to our first episode of Beyond the Veil. I'm your host, Sneha Patel, here to take you on a journey that will ignite your imagination and challenge the boundaries of what you thought you knew. Before we dive into our first mind-bending topic, let's meet our first two guests. Please give it up for Arian and David. Hey, I'm Arian. I'm a junior at Rutgers University majoring in astrophysics. Hello, I'm David. I'm also a student at Rutgers and I'm a BATE major. Nice to meet you guys. Do you guys think are aliens real? Interesting questions, Sneha. But in my opinion, I think aliens are not real as I haven't really seen any evidence to prove that they are. Well, in my opinion, I think aliens are real because we live in a big universe and I think there has to be something out there, right? There's no way we're alone in this universe. Maybe I'll change your mind. There's actually a conspiracy theory out there a Mexican journalist and UFO enthusiast, James Masson, claims to have made a groundbreaking discovery of two tiny mummified bodies with elongated heads and three fingers on each hand, allegedly found near Peru. And these findings were asserted into Mexico's congress in which the journalist claims that this is real, although DNA carbon results show that they do indicate that they are not from normal life on Earth. So does this change your mind that maybe aliens aren't real? Jeepers. Also, they've done testing on this alien? Yeah, they have apparently. And it's a mystery surrounding that the bodies remain. So we don't even know what they're made out of. How do they not know what they're made out of if they tested on the alien? I don't know. But there's some more information to be found. There's a lot of skepticism. And anthropologist Elsa Chicago was labeled that it was a rehash of debunked frauds. People may think that this guy is just a fraud. Maybe he's not even a real scientist. I'm just surprised that this hasn't been a bigger deal in the news. Oh, yeah. So I want to show you guys a photo of the aliens. What are your thoughts on the photos? Looks like my brother. Expected in this picture, for those who don't know, there's an alien and he has like an oval shaped head and his eyes are closed and mummified while the nose is very narrow and so is the mouth kind of smiling with three fingers coming out. It's a little weird because it kind of looks like it's mummified. It couldn't be like someone made it. We don't know. So do you guys think this might indicate that it might be a hoax? I don't think it could be a hoax. But how are you sure it's an alien and not from this planet? Just another thing that died? That is true. I mean, I don't know. I don't know all the research, but this is very new and this could be an indication that maybe we are not the only ones in this universe. So why does it look so crispy? Additionally, there's conspiracy theory that a government has been covering this up for decades to prevent a worldwide panic. What do you think about that? I think honestly, the government has been trying to cover up a lot of things, so it wouldn't really surprise me if they are trying to cover up aliens. I'm glad that it's coming out in the open. You know, similar to my next conspiracy theory about Illuminati, there's a chance that the government uses this to hide what actually might be happening around the world. The world could be a simulation. We don't know. But I thought that this may definitely not be the first time the government will cover things up. So in general, do you guys think aliens exist in another universe? I think it's very likely. Yeah, I think my opinion stays the same. I think aliens do exist. Okay. Thank you guys so much for coming out on this podcast. Any final remarks for our listeners? I wanted to bring up the concept of aliens one more time. Just to reiterate. Okay. Why do you guys think this thing is legitimate? This article over here? Well, the thing is, it was brought to the court and there has been scientific testing on this alien and it's clearly been found that this hasn't been tampered with and it's not a human-like creature. So it really is a question. But if a real alien was found, don't you think there'd be more worldwide news about it? I think this just comes back to the fact that the government is trying to cover a lot of this, their footsteps. I see. Because, you know, if they said it's found in Peru, so maybe there's other aliens in the area, like located within the Peru or within the Colombian Nazca Lines, but we don't know that for sure. Maybe the aliens have been all over the planet and government has just always been hiding it up. Damn. That is an interesting conspiracy theory. Yes. Any more remarks? How about you, David? I will definitely be looking into this because it's really interesting and I'll do my own research on it. All right. Thank you guys so much. Thank you for having us. Thank you for having us. Hold on to your seats because before we dive into the thrilling depths of our next segment, I've got an electrifying introduction to make. Brace yourselves for the arrival of a truly remarkable guest. Not only does she hold the prestigious title of vice president of a sorority, but she's also one of my closest friends. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the phenomenal Desiree Bowe. How are you? I'm doing good. How are you? I'm so glad to have you on my podcast today. Can you please introduce yourself? Yeah, of course. So my name is Desiree. I'm a current undergraduate student at Rutgers University. I'm actually a junior and I'm majoring in computer science. I'm part of a lot of extracurriculars at Rutgers. For example, I'm part of Delta Kappa Delta, which is a sorority, and it's specifically a South Asian service-based sorority. And being the vice president, I work with a lot of different other orgs as well as the president, and it's really great. The president must be so great, huh? Yeah. So, Desiree, the topic I want to talk about with you today is secret societies. I think you know the best since you're part of a sorority. This is very interesting. I'm excited. Yes. So, basically, have you heard about the Illuminati? Briefly, yeah. Briefly, yeah. Okay, so basically, there is a program. It's called MK Ultra, and it started in the 1930s and 1960s, and it was a CIA program, and it aimed to study for mind control for Cold War purposes initially. But there's conspiracy theory going around that the alleged odd behavior of celebrities and politicians on camera are signs of the MK Ultra mind control, which has led to the belief that the Illuminati might be real. So, for example, for tragic events such as school shootings such as Columbine and Sandy Hook, they were suggested that they were orchestrated by mind control individuals. What do you think about that? Oh my god. This is actually crazy news to me that, you know, like a concept like mind control exists and people use it in such a way. For me, it's such a crazy idea. I don't even know if I believe this, but it is very fascinating to hear. So, I don't know if you heard. Have you ever heard of a celebrity called Cardi B? Yeah, of course. What do you know about her? I mean, I listen to a lot of her rap music. Yeah, I love her rap music. But basically, in 2018, there was a red carpet interview that sparked an MK Ultra conspiracy theory suggesting that celebrities are victims of the CIA mind control. And in addition to this, there's actually a theory that some celebrities such as Beyonce put the words Illuminati in her choruses and which makes people speculate that they might be part of the MK Ultra mind control. Have you ever heard of other celebrities that are under the control of the Illuminati? No, I actually haven't. This is the first time I'm hearing something like this. Let me tell you a deep fact. In 2014, Madonna released a song called Illuminati on her album Rebel Heart. The chorus repeats. It's like everybody in this party is shining like Illuminati. Madonna immediately clarified that she intended the word to represent an enlightened definition, but it didn't turn out like that. So our take, whether or not she's a member or not, is that it's definitely crazy that she even dropped the I-word, the Illuminati. So this got people talking and people are still doing that years later, just like how we are right now. What do you think about Madonna being in the Illuminati? I think that she probably was using that word as a, you know, way to get the followers and like the listeners on Spotify because putting something like that in your song is definitely going to draw attention. So her listeners would definitely point it out and, you know, look into it. And that would cause her to get more of a following and more clout so that she could be more famous. No, for sure. And there's so many other celebrities, such as like Kanye West, who speak on like cults. And I think it's really crazy because don't people say that your sorority is kind of a cult too? Yeah, I would definitely say I hear that sometimes, but I don't actually think that's the case at all. It would probably be the only reason they think that is because, you know, we're such like a tight knit group of community and people, outsiders might not like see it as that. So there's also another theory that the Illuminati were the ones that orchestrated the 9-11 attacks actually in the towers. And it's also still under the MKUltra mind control, which I think is kind of crazy because people have the same theory about Sandy Hook and the Columbine on how these shooters might be mind controlled individuals, when in reality, people might just not be educated on guns. And I think that's mostly true. So how do you think these conspiracy theories might change the way we hear about history? I think that all these ideas that get passed around, it's definitely going to impact, you know, what we discover in the world as well as what other people are thinking about situations like this. People might start believing these ideas more in the future. And that'll change the way that, you know, things play out for us in the future, as well as how it has played out in the past. But yeah, I think like, it's definitely interesting to see how, you know, all these ideas come together and how people with different conspiracies can, like, point these things out for us. Yeah. And it's really crazy because due to like things such as Illuminati and mind control, people are questioning society itself, such as like, what's happening in our world? Are we in a simulation? Is it real? And I think the Illuminati has been the core of all that. So I really appreciate you and thank you for coming on my podcast. Would you like to say something to the viewers? Yes, it was really great talking to you. This is really cool hearing about these conspiracy theories. But yeah, thanks for having me. Thank you. Thank you. Attention, TikTok enthusiasts, brace yourself for an intriguing theory that goes beyond the dance trends. This podcast is a thrilling fusion of technology and a crime for all the mystery lovers out there. But before we dive into our conspiracy, let's give it up for our last guest of today, Aditi Venkatesan. Would you like to introduce yourself? Yeah, sure. I'm Aditi. I'm a junior here at Rutgers University. I'm part of our USAPA, which is a DDN team for, stands for Basic Dance Network. And we compete nationally around the country, leading up to our nationals competition. Wow, that's amazing. Yeah, I'm not really that much of a good dancer, but at least one of us can dance. But before we begin, I want to ask you, have you ever heard of TikTok? Yes, I have. What do you know about TikTok? I usually use TikTok just for dancing videos I see or like, I see like routine videos on my For You page. But I know people sometimes like ASMR videos and other sorts of things. So it's used for everything. Wow, that's amazing. So let me tell you about our first theory. So we have a little girl. Her name is Sabrina Prater. She's a contractor from Flint, Michigan, who posted a viral video on TikTok dancing to a remix of Any Man of Mine. The video gained over 22 million views on TikTok, which created a bizarre dance edit and for which her fans would make jokes about her and even compliment on her appearance, but not in a good way. So TikTok analyzed this video and it intensified in which people were suggesting that she might be involved in dark activities, such as holding a woman captive in a basement. The speculation escalated to absurd conclusion with some accusations against Prater for being a serial killer, just for some evidence such as her dance videos. What do you think about this? I mean, I think that's definitely interesting here. But I've also seen different theories of other videos like this, how people are held hostage, and they could tell through a TikTok video, different signs showing like they're being held captive or they're being abused or something like that. You'll be shocked when you hear this. Basically, a lot of our fans are connecting unsolved mysteries, missing person cases, and making transphobic comments about her. Being able to connect unsolved cases through just her TikToks is kind of bizarre, don't you think? Yeah, it definitely is. Yeah, so this kind of shows that TikTok's true crime community has grown over the past years with creators, with cases unfolding such as the Gappy Petito case. I don't know if you remember about that, what that was about. But it had a negative impact on TikTok's true crime, in which theories started to circulate with platforms without even fact checking. So basically, Sabrina Prater has been accused of being a serial killer, just because of the way that she looked, and because of how she danced in her TikToks. Don't you think that is a little ridiculous? Because it has put a lot of emotional distress on her. And she even uses that emotion, apparently, to solicit cash app donations to pay her own power bills. That's definitely interesting to hear. And I do want to learn more about that. Yeah. So what do you think about true crime revolving around TikTok? Um, I don't know, I think, I haven't seen so far yet, a case actually being solved through TikTok from these accusations of videos I've seen. But I have heard stories about multiple videos showing like, someone being abused, or someone's being like, kidnapped. I did hear about like, kidnapped. I did hear about someone faking a death through TikTok. So it was definitely interesting to hear. Fake a death? You think you can tell me more about that? Um, I forgot her name, but I heard her mom faked her death, so that they could get some money. And just a couple weeks ago, she came back online to TikTok to answer questions. And it was revealed that she was actually alive. And her parents had faked her death just so like, they could get money. Wow, that is insane. I'm sure like, the viewers are not happy with that. And in fact, critics argue that the true crime community on TikTok is more harm than good, often hurting individuals instead of helping in investigations. I believe that a lot of investigations should be done by the police. And people should not make assumptions about others just because of how they look and the way that they dance. And it's kind of crazy because you have TikTok creators such as like Charli D'Amelio, who dances really well and looks really pretty. And people praise her while just because of your looks, people don't praise this woman and think she might be a serial killer. What do you think is the differences that people could do in order to help the TikTok community grow into a positive impact? Um, I definitely agree. I think that people should at least if they have assumptions. And if it's really bad, like someone's being held captive or something that resorts to a crime, they should definitely report it to the police if that's their assumption. If not, they shouldn't, they just shouldn't say it and just move on from the video. I couldn't agree more. Are there any final remarks you have for our listeners? Um, no, I think it's just really interesting to hear more cases coming from TikTok. Thank you so much for coming on our podcast tonight. Thank you so much for having me.
