The person recalls two embarrassing incidents from their childhood: licking a frozen flagpole with their tongue and accidentally flooding the bathroom while giving their dog a bath with laundry soap. Despite the embarrassment, they find the situations funny. I suppose the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me was the time I licked a frozen flagpole with my tongue. Or maybe it was the time I gave the dog a bath with laundry soap and it flooded the whole bathroom. I was only five years old. It was pretty funny, actually.
