Sir Philip Sidney

Sir Philip Sidney, born on November 30, 1554, was a notable English poet, courtier, and soldier. He is widely recognized as one of the leading figures of the Elizabethan era. Among his notable literary contributions are works like "Astrophel and Stella," "The Defence of Poesy" (also referred to as "The Defence of Poetry" or "An Apology for Poetry"), and "The Countess of Pembroke's Arcadia."
