A group of friends introduce themselves and discuss their interests and future plans. They also talk about the last books they read and their experiences with AI art. They have fun creating absurd pictures using AI, finding the results amusing. Okay, I want each of you guys to state your name and a little bit about yourself, like anything that comes to mind. Hey, I'm Kyle Durham. I'm Zach Hughes. Hi, my name is Caroline Murrell. Hi, my name is Olivia. I've been doing track since I was in fourth grade, and now I'm running collegiately with my teammate, Ciara Collins. Yes, similar to Kyle, I am on the track team, studying sport management with a minor in business administration. I am a freshman at NC State. I'm on the track and cross-country teams, and I study psychology and Spanish. I'm also a freshman on the NC State cross-country and track teams, and I'm studying biomedical engineering. Do you guys have any idea what you're going to do after you graduate? And you can be honest when you say you don't have any idea. I, Kyle, am studying political science. I'm hoping to go into law school and become a lawyer or something in the law field, but, yeah, that's my plan. I mean, I kind of have an idea. I'd like to go to grad school, hopefully become a sports psychologist, but that's still, like, up in the air. Right now I'm thinking about doing prosthetics, but it's probably going to change. I mean, right now I'm going for biomed, but that might change, so it's up in the air. Do you remember the last book you read? The last book I read? It wasn't Fast Girl. I read something after that, but that was another one. We know Fast Girl. We know. I can't think of it. I know I read one in between Fast Girl, but that's, like, I can only remember Fast Girl. It's a book about this professional runner who went to the University of Wisconsin, but she struggled with undiagnosed bipolar disorder, and so she did a lot of crazy things, like going to Vegas and becoming, like, an undercover prostitute. But it was a cool story. It was a good look inside, you know, how people with, like, unmedicated bipolar disorder think. You can be honest about the book. It kind of sucked, right? Yeah. I mean, it had good parts and it had bad parts. Like, I just didn't love the way that she narrated it. Me and Sierra have talked about it a lot, but, like, I understood, like, what it was trying to accomplish, but I think it could have done it a little bit better. Yeah. Yeah. I agree. I agree. I don't think you read very much, right? No, I don't. The last book I read was probably in high school, so I don't even remember the last book I read or what it was about. What book did you read in high school? Because I know a couple off the top of my head. I read Catcher in the Rye. Did you read that? Yeah, that's the first book I thought of. Okay. I read Catcher in the Rye. I forget what else. I literally think Zach said that was the last book he remembered reading. I read Touching Spirit Bear in, like, sixth grade. That's a long time ago. You're talking a lot. Can you make a summary about this for me right now? Yes. So, it's a young kid, and I believe he gets in trouble, and he either has to go to, like, like, not military school, but his parents were sending him off. Like boarding school? Yeah. Okay. So he decided to run away, and he was in the wild. He lived on his own for a while, and he, like, kept encountering this bear, and eventually him and this bear became, like, friends. It's a pretty cool book. I didn't read that one. That's interesting. I read it about 16 years ago. Wait, no. 13. You're 21. Okay. Hunger Games. I liked Hunger Games, too. Yeah, yeah. It was my favorite, favorite book for a really long time. Good one. The next kind of is, like, an activity, playing around with AI. Have you guys ever played around with AI art? No. I've seen, like, the face filters where it'll, like, take your face, and then it makes it, like, it turns you into, like, a cartoon character or something. I think that's AI. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I have, yes. Yeah, you have? Yes. Do you want to make some art? Of course. Okay. This whole thing, it's so simple. You just type whatever you want the AI to draw, and it, I promise you, it will make that picture. It can be the most absurd thing ever. Okay, Kyle, since you've kind of done it before. Yeah, Kyle. Do you have, like, idea? Come up with something crazy. Okay. Should I say it out loud? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Out loud? Yeah, yeah. Dog throwing ball to human. Create. Explain to it what's going on in the picture. So, currently, what I'm looking at is a dog with all of the dog parts that a dog has. So, four legs, right? Four legs. Yeah, yeah. But then, instead of having just a regular head, it's extended more. It's sort of like a half-man, half-human hybrid. Not, wait. Half-man, half-horse hybrid. Minotaur, I think they're called. Yeah. And so, the dog has two additional hands. And it has a soccer ball in one of the hands, and it is currently throwing it towards an unknown entity outside of the picture. It's so good, right? It is very good. That is what I typed in, actually. Why does he have six legs, though? He has four legs. He has four legs, and then two arms. The background is funny, too, because it's just like an empty field. Yeah, nothing. It's just a dog right in the middle. Do you want to see the art that I made? Yeah. And showed Zach and Kyle? Yeah. What I jumped was the little mermaid sitting on top of the Eiffel Tower eating a hamburger. Oh, my God. And this is what it gave me. Oh, my God. She's naked. Can you see her feet? Yeah. It's crazy. And that's not even the top of the Eiffel Tower. It's like she's the Eiffel Tower. Oh, my God. That is crazy. He has a hamburger hat, and there's a hamburger on a floating plate. That's not really a full hamburger. I don't know. But she's not eating it. That is funny. AI is crazy. Yeah, it is crazy. And I thought it was really interesting. I liked it, seeing the AI thing. And the picture was really funny. Yeah, the picture was funny. Okay, thank you, guys. Thank you. Thank you, guys. Thank you. Thank you.
