Yeah How's it going guys happy to be back Oh Let's do it Yeah, I'm happy I'm happy to talk about him I know this guy like the back of my hand so let's get after Wow Yeah, the the heights pretty remarkable and that's something that stands out I Think he's seven foot five I know he's listed at seven foot four a lot of places and he came out and said he I think he said he Wanted to be listed Smaller than he actually was which doesn't really make sense. But um, yeah, I think he's seven foot five Obviously the frame is a little thin But yeah, I mean here on ESPN he's listed seven foot three and I just I don't think that's true I think he's way taller than that Yeah, I mean is he's tall and his frame obviously I think could use some work but that'll just come with time in the NBA I'm not too worried about it. I mean Anthony Davis You know, he filled out just fine so I think Victor will do Mm-hmm I Mm-hmm Mm-hmm I Mm-hmm I I Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Yeah, I totally agree with everything you said there I mean his length and wingspan is Unmatchable, I mean it is truly a creative player so I think you brought up a great point when even if he gets blown by he can recover super easily and Honestly get some more blocking statistics In that way, and so I think that he's definitely got some defensive player of the years in his in his future I mean he could be a first-team all-defense as a rookie and everyone I'd be like, yeah, that makes sense Like, you know, it wouldn't really surprise me if that happened his rookie year. So this guy's truly got Incredible defensive upside and you pair that with his ability to handle which I think is what separates him at his size is I think there's That's what makes him not just a center Is his ability to handle the ball as well like in that Kevin Durant sense where he can bring the ball up and I? So a player if he needs to and go get go and get a bucket, you know He's not just a big who can shoot like he can truly handle the ball So I think that makes him super unique and along with that his shooting is Exceptional for his size and I do think his three-point will take some time to come around the NBA But it will so you pair that with the defensive player that you're upside and I mean This is a prospect like we've never seen so I can't wait to watch him this year Mm-hmm Mm-hmm I I I Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Yeah, you hit the nail on the head there I mean what makes him so unique is his ability to handle the ball and his ability to handle the ball I think that's what makes him so unique and I think that's what sets him apart from a lot of the other players I think that's what makes him so unique and I think that's what sets him apart from a lot of the other players I think that's what makes him so unique and I think that's what sets him apart from a lot of the other players I think that's what makes him so unique and I think that's what sets him apart from a lot of the other players Yeah You hit the nail on the head there I mean what makes him so unique is his ability to play on the perimeter So I think it would just be a misuse of him if you throw him underneath the hoop And one thing I love when talking about Wembley is how you know when we talk about him playing the five would be like Yeah, he would probably struggle against them beating the oakage Like those are the two best players in the NBA and we're like, yeah, yeah He'll probably struggle like of course he was a rookie year. So I just think it's awesome He's kind of in that conversation and one day I do think he'll be able to hang with those guys But at least at his frame right now, yeah, he'll get pushed around underneath the hoop But I just think that's funny that that's kind of the conversation or the narrative around him but yeah, I mean he's definitely best used in the perimeter and being able to match up against, you know, either a smaller for or Being able to go over him With a shot and so I'm really excited to see how the Spurs use them. I think you're right bass I think pop loves that Collins and I think they did just come out and say Wembley is gonna start playing as a four At least to start the season. So Anthony Davis is kind of a similar case where he enjoys the four Although I do think he is super valuable at the five because Anthony Davis has filled out his frame a lot more than when he has but With that being said, I mean, he's definitely a four and I think you could even throw him at three in some cases Depending on how your lineup looks and I don't think the Spurs will need to but I think you could play it like this This dude's a I mean, he's truly Yeah, like truly could play it at least could defend it when it comes to his defense I do think he's best suited under the hoop. I mean as a rim protector his wingspan is like bar none One best in the NBA probably so that would be nice to have another hoop But it's interesting to see how the Spurs will play that this year Mm-hmm I I I I I Yeah, I Agree, I don't know if you can really count this as a weakness But like I said earlier his frame definitely needs work. I need to add muscle and we saw Chet recently come back with a lot of added muscle on his frame and and he looks much better than he did as a rookie We saw his rookie year. He got hurt I mean that that thin frame doesn't really hold up in the NBA when you're logging those minutes On your body, so I'd like to see when we do that I do think it'll come with time like we talked about Giannis and Anthony Davis and it just takes a lot of work and these NBA nutritionists and their strength strength and conditioning coaches will all get them in check Like I think that will eventually come we don't have to worry about that But I think that's something that could use some work. I agree with you on the three-point percentage it's kind of a luxury that he can hit him in the first place, but It'll definitely develop more in the NBA similar to LeBron like it took LeBron some time and LeBron three-point, you know is the average So I think at least one B will hover around the average for most of his career and then I think free throws I don't think he was a super exceptional free throw shooter. Maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone have this free throw number up? Okay I don't know why what I have is 66 I don't know what the number I was looking at was 66. So I don't know why I had the wrong number in front of me That's right, that was a year before yeah, I mean as long as he knocked down free throws to That's nice. And then With him being such a big frame smaller defenders might be able to kind of Pick his dribble a little bit, you know, they might be able to get into his handle A little more since you know, the ball comes up so freakin high when he is dribbling So, I don't know if he can really work on that or how to protect himself But I think turnovers actually might be kind of an issue depending on how much he's handling the ball his first year or two Yeah, yeah, so like Yeah, like you said with the assist to that that numbers got to go up so He'll learn naturally the flow of the game pop will get that taken care of and then working on the turnover So what do you have for us Frank? What do you think? Mm-hmm Oh Yeah Mm-hmm When B practices them He said an interview practices them and that doesn't surprise me. I mean, he's so long and he gets so much power going off one leg that he's able to generate like I think one leg is Not as big of a deal for him as it would be a player like James Harden He's a little smaller. Like I I'm not too worried about him being off balance with the shots Because he's able to generate so much power and control the ball because friggin hand is bigger than the ball But yeah, I mean he's shown he's capable of making shots like that some circuit shots so I've that's super exciting Mm-hmm I Think his career average will kind of flirt with 32 33 percent, you know, maybe on a good year He's got 34 on my great MVP or something like that Like I I think you're spot-on with not going over 35, but he'll kind of be just below that just between 30 and 35 Mm-hmm Mm-hmm I I Think I Think I think pop will rest him. I think you're right there His body's gonna take time to adjust to not only the pace of the game, but the vault pace of the game but the volume of games So I don't think pop would be afraid to arrest Wembley but give him the minutes when he needs to this team's got plenty of people that can rotate and things of that sort and so They they definitely don't want to overdo it I think so when be able to play but I they recently came out with the new What was it the superstar resting? Forget what the rule was but Well, I think Paul George is the one that gets screwed because you can't rest two superstars and Kauai's not resting So or Kauai's not playing so Paul George got a suit up now I think he was getting a little too comfortable on his podcast But yeah true Well, so anyways, what I was saying is that Wembley I don't think qualifies as a star because he's a rookie and hasn't made an all-star game in the past three years So I think they'll be free to rest him whenever they please, you know, he won't be on any Minutes and any of those restrictions for resting so I you're right. They'll rest him Mm-hmm And I don't think pop would be too upset about not winning a ton of games this year and maybe adding some more talent early in The draft 2024 this team definitely is a couple pieces away from really competing You can't just get Wembley and then you know, we'll go in a championship as nice as that would be so I think they'll they won't focus on the wind as much as Many might think getting Victor one by Nyama They'll still be a pretty bad team and I think next year will be when we really see them take a step Mm-hmm Dude did you see how flexible did you see that video him stretching and him like doing the splits? like Don't you see how flexible he is? I mean, I don't know how flexible he is, but I don't know how flexible he is I mean, I don't know how flexible he is, but I don't know how flexible he is I mean, I don't know how flexible he is, but I don't know how flexible he is I mean, I don't know how flexible he is, but I don't know how flexible he is I mean, I don't know how flexible he is, but I don't know how flexible he is I mean, I don't know how flexible he is, but I don't know how flexible he is I mean, I don't know how flexible he is, but I don't know how flexible he is That's unbelievable, it's unbelievable guy that's I can't do the splits. Do you kidding me like it truly is amazing It's crazy, it's it's not so whatever he's doing is working keep it going Dude that's enough. That's enough criticizing the the so so Chan haircut. So on haircut It's hair do we want to do predictions for his his rookie year his stats Great Covered his haircut Yeah, I think about 20 points, you know, 10 11 boards three assists three blocks, maybe two blocks probably Yeah, I think about 20 points, you know, 10 11 boards three assists three blocks, maybe two blocks probably Hmm Definitely Hmm Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Yeah Mm-hmm And That was at about 34 minutes a night, right 32 nice nice. Yeah Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Mm-hmm No, I definitely think people are reaching a little bit for that that wouldn't be magic Sometimes it's just nice to have one of these players in your team. Like oh, I got Victor one banana, baby you know, let's just bring a little excitement and I Guess on the off chance he does he could be a top 25 player I really wouldn't count it out, but I don't think he'll get the minutes to get there his rookie year But it's definitely within the realm of possibilities. And if you take your guy like Really you're just calling it you're calling your shot with Victor if you're taking him that high I personally wouldn't recommend it there's Plenty of other players. I'd rather have in that range and I could see you taking Victor around the Mid to late third or a fourth round But pick 25 is a little rich for me The sure thing Mm-hmm Mm-hmm I I It's good point You Yeah, that's a great point in dynasty he's 103 can we agree on that Awesome Yeah, and I really yeah, it's you it's your order it's your personal preference Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Victor well, you're asking the Victor owner and the Luca owner Yeah Yeah, you guys you got Joker Let's go I guess we all have our preference then that's funny Oh, yeah Yeah Definitely personal preference. I mean if you're competing Joker's your guy Victor's got the upside, but you haven't seen anything and I mean Lucas just exceptional He's that perfect blend of both. So just depends how risky you want to be when drafting Yeah Yeah You Like like his best year on his best year Are you saying on a range of like over a couple years or his best year, what does he do? Okay I Would say like 26 and a half points 13 ish rebounds Five assists three blocks Maybe four somewhere in there Mm-hmm I Like Like his I think his best year he's putting up like 28 29 a game Like this dude literally has crazy scoring upside. I was just looking up who's one MVP and defensive player of the year in the same year Michael Jordan Kim Ilaja one and Giannis are the only three to do it. I think Wendy gets out of that list in his career I Definitely definitely I Yeah Mm-hmm Yeah I Really that my bold prediction was it won't be with Bob Now he's old and he's definitely old so but I think they'll Hire in-house. I I don't know. I feel like pops got a guy That that he's just got his eye on or something like that they can take care of business. I'm not too worried about it Oh, yeah I Kelton Johnson Mm-hmm I mean dude, he's one of those guys too who's like you got first-team all defense in his Realm of possibilities like he's a crazy defender has crazy length can switch like I Him and when be on the court together. I think pop is just drooling over Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Mm-hmm Not in Dallas I Know Probably gave it to a buddy you probably gave it to a friend. It's like look Yeah, it's awesome How about all I got on Wimby Oh, yeah Oh don't count him out I wouldn't count him out I Disappointed yeah. Yeah, when Wendy's gonna help build Rome Let's go I I Alright Mm-hmm Percent Interesting Born in Japan went to LSU Ben Simmons Ah Tardy send it Who else went to LSU I guess that's my one guess back he got our guests out there, dude I Throw a Japanese player out there What a Navi That's a player Okay, what's it what's our next one Wait this okay No, no, this is this is a younger player.
