The key to success in roofing is to be where the customers are, just like in hunting. Setting up a strong online presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google is like setting up a deer stand. You wait until a customer comes looking for a new roof, and then you're ready to make the sale. A good sales team and process are essential, just like a gun is essential for hunting. Not having an online presence is like not having a deer stand. Success in roofing is about being ready and available for customers at all times. The key to success in roofing is to be whenever and wherever the customers are because people don't look for a new roof on a whim. People don't look for roofers on a whim. It's kind of like deer hunting. Alright, so you set up your deer stand in the best possible position and you sit there and you wait and you know that if you sit there long enough, staying ready at any moment with your finger on the trigger that sooner or later an unsuspecting hungry deer is going to walk by, walk up to that feeder and boom, you're right there with your sights on them and your finger on the trigger. Now it's the same thing in roofing. You set up your hypothetical deer stand on Facebook, Instagram, Google and you sit there and you wait and sooner or later a customer comes looking for a new roof and you're right there and you get the sale. Now the weapon in this analogy is the sales team. Just like you can't get a kill without the gun, you can't get a sale without a good sales team and a proven sales process. And then not having an online presence in these platforms, it's like having a wide open field full of deer with deer feeders scattered throughout to attract the deer to specific locations and you don't have a deer stand. That's like not having an online presence. So the key to success in roofing is to be whenever and wherever they are, waiting with your sights on them and your finger on the trigger just like in hunting.
