What is up everybody we are back on the fourth quarter come back podcast season 3 episode 14 we are in week six of the NFL season down a guy as Chris goes and fulfills his long childhood dream going to South Bend yeah he said you get there early yep yep so it's just Dylan and Ryan today and we have a shit ton of news yeah yeah so with that being said we'll get right into it Anthony Richardson went on IR this morning shoulder I saw four to eight weeks yeah so if you have an IR spot I think you put him on there if you need room I think you cut him right I mean eight weeks well concussion yeah shoulder mm-hmm it's a little yeah yeah yeah and I think you know Gardner Minshew is you know you could put him on your civil on your bench and spot start him if you need to I think this kind of helps Pittman and downs Minshew is proven he's very serviceable as that backup I mean yeah homeless Baker Mayfield really I don't think he's lost so good for him yeah he might be a better pastor at this point in Richardson's career he might be a better passer but yeah I mean if you're if you're leaning on Gardner Minshew as quarterback yeah yeah Daniel Jones neck injury it looks like maybe tie rod will play Daniel Jones I dropped him he's he's droppable yes Jonathan Taylor is back yeah but Zach Moss is like okay cool yeah yeah we'll get to that later James Conner ink knee injury so looks like did he give him IR yeah yep yep every year I mean he's so good but he just cannot stay healthy and so it looks like maybe Amari Demercado yeah well and Keontae Ingram will be coming back he's been sidelined but so that's gonna be kind of interesting I wonder if people are gonna spend all their fab on the rookie and then Ingram's like you know hey this is gonna be a split you know and then sake one should be making his return Javante Williams hopefully should be making his return to same with Tamir Gibbs yep yeah Khalil Herbert ankle yeah so it's looking like it might be Rochon's time finally if he can clear protocol yeah right yeah yeah it did yeah yeah and he's good yeah let's see what they say here I doesn't say what you know degree so yeah yeah and which we'll get to but get into the receivers and a sad day Justin Jefferson yeah well yeah yeah do they trade Kirk like I don't know if they trade Kirk so I was telling Chris I I kind of I don't want to say I jinxed it but I kind of called it at the beginning of the year when we were talking about chase McCaffrey and Jefferson and I was like man if Jefferson if they start losing and he already denied the the contract offer that they sent out we've already heard there's been reports of him on the sideline not happy with losing or the game plan or whatever I can see him forcing his way out of Minnesota yeah yeah yeah yeah you figure it out yeah you make it work but I will say it might just be the Chris curse also yeah yeah they just shit the bed yeah then you go Justin Jefferson yeah the basically unanimous number one pair uh-huh injury he's been in I think at the start of your work on record saying multiple times how reliable yep he doesn't get hurt he doesn't miss games yeah yeah Chris drafts and overall well not only that it seems like every game this season he's been banged up there's I get an alert and it's like Jefferson down on the field I'm like what in the world so I don't know T Higgins still dealing with the ribs they're saying he might be able to take a shot and go for it we'll see I mean that's yeah yeah tank Dell concussion yeah oh yeah yeah and then like you said Travis Kelsey the ankle he returned he did return to play and they play Thursday so that's what's really tough but at least if you you know if I own Travis Kelsey what I'm doing is hopefully grabbing somebody else on my bench because that is one nice thing is it is Thursday so you'll know and you have time to make changes yeah but it was good to see him come back in because it was gross non-contact ankle injury so it was oh I almost I feared Achilles at first it was good it was another Achilles the NFL PA might have ended the season until all the turf was gone but the Chiefs got bailed out again they went but he went he came back in and scored which is great you know to see him back in there not on the sidelines so yeah yeah I know and I feel like I'm still forgetting players but if so I feel like that hits the majority of the big name ones so yeah so we thought it'd be fun this week to get into some players that throughout the league at different positions that are on your team and you don't know what to do with them whether that's keep playing them bench them try to trade them cut them and so we're at that point of like this is where you know some people in leagues are kind of probably getting a little bit of burnout with the waiver wire and just you know just things in general right and so I feel like these next couple weeks this is where you can really shape up your team for the long haul so yep so I'll start off with some QBs so right off the list Justin Fields what okay so he's on this on this tear right QB one QB three yeah keep just riding the flame do you trade him yeah I think I don't think you go out and trade for fields now their schedule is pretty easy yeah their divisions not great yeah and their non-conference or their out-of-division schedule is pretty easy but I don't know how sustainable this is yeah like they just happen to a little bit of fire and you know it's slowly gonna fizzle out yeah Justin Fields is not gonna throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns what you mean DJ Moore's not gonna have 300 yards and three touchdowns every week yeah you keep them you keep playing them keep starting them until I guess that I think yeah the wheels fall off definitely don't trade I mean if you have two quarterbacks you can trade high yeah but like if you picked like Stroud up or something like that because fields was struggling early in the season and if you if you feel like you have a good backup you could trade him at the peak right now but I will say so like you said with the schedule Minnesota Las Vegas and the Chargers Chicago yeah those are the next three games so he's he's probably gonna be a top five quarterback in all three of those at New Orleans week nine you know so that might be a little tough they don't play the NFC East right they don't they don't play anyone in the West yeah so it's like I don't know schedule is very favorable but like I said I just don't know I don't think you can and truthfully surprisingly he's doing it with his arm not with his legs right he's only had about 75 rushing yards the last two games so they've completely went from this no identity offense to yeah moving the pocket get him out of the pocket like it's like duh you know a little bit when you're watching so what about Joe burrow so he finally showed up last week are you are you in on like him being this way going forward I am a Joe burrow Stan I am I said I am a Bengals believer I think start of the year was very fluky injury yeah I think that was their issue I'm holding burrow for sure and honestly I think you could buy him low yeah I think I think someone might be ready to get rid of them yeah people like you said you might be able to trade fields right now for people might be fed up now I'm up on that trade but if anything I think I'm trading for burrow yeah not selling them yeah if I have if he's my you know I dropped him as my cue yeah I think last week obviously it was against Cardinals but it was a taste of what to expect yeah I think that's more normal they were actually completing the ball deep down the field was it 19 targets to so if anybody I'm sorry if any quarterback targets to March ace 19 times they're going to have a good game there's no doubt yeah he looked a lot a lot more healthy yeah okay what about last quarterback CJ Stroud yeah truthfully I think that that whole team's the whole offense is kind of shifted their focus yeah I think they want to throw the ball yeah I don't know if they want to run the ball too much yeah well we'll talk about Damian Pierce later but I think they have I think they have consistent running game but no picks right Nico Collins is looking good tank Joe yeah they have athletes rubberwoods is just consistent yeah Dalton Schultz even I think he had a relevant game for me when my drafting strategies always draft all your guys and then like we talked get your rookies before you fill out your roster yeah and I always like getting a rookie quarterback if someone's going to show out yeah and if he was the guy you hit on you're happy he's yeah yeah you can start him every week turning the ball over okay maybe he's not lighting up the but he's I mean I'm pretty sure he has more 300-yard passing games than Kenny Pickett does five games so yeah I I think he's an easy buy low and if you have him on your bench you are so happy as him with him as your backup quarterback he's just he's playing great he's and it's great to see I would have going into the year I would have gone Bryce Young first and probably had Richardson Richardson was my top for fantasy just because I you know I thought he would run a lot more well he will run more than Bryce Young and just Bryson's I mean who will talk about him that's you but Adam Thielen who thought you know okay well let's just get right into it then Damian Pierce what do you do I mean I think you you do have him in our league so yeah he's like on your bench right yeah a flex fill-in which yeah he's been a bi-week flex fill-in type guy yeah he hasn't broken hundred yards yet there's one touchdown touchdown the work shares increasing yeah and carries at the start of the year 15 14 now 24 and 20 but he's averaging like three and a half yards carry yeah it's he's not yeah breaking anything so I think I mean I think he's a hold but if you need a running back yeah yeah well I think you could trade for Damian Pierce too because I I think the touchdown thing is a little fluky and it could get better as the season goes along but his snap count to he started off this season at 45 45 then it bumped up to 54 now two games of 59 and 59 you like that yeah 20 plus two carries a game is awesome but again if he if you drafted him especially as an RV hopefully not RV 1 but RV 2 mm-hmm and you need an RV 2 it might be time to go try to get someone else yeah it's hard to have your RV RV 2 scoring what is he averaging nine nine eight or nine yeah yeah so you know you're getting if you need a floor play right yeah you sit him for those tough matchups yeah yeah hey could be a good time like if you you know it could be a good time to trade for him after that game because he probably is only gonna have six or seven in my game yeah I think so and complete side note New Orleans defense and fantasy it's unreal right I know their defense is good so yeah yeah okay all right Denver backfield the grossness yeah what what do you do because you know Javante Williams yes he got banged up but even before his injury 45 percent 45 42 and then he got hurt 17 percent snap count so no yeah Ryan looks back like you just look like in Cincy he looked like he had juice and he looked good and then you I don't is it the is it the different orange uniform like what is it that I think with P Ryan you got the situation that you were hoping for in when you were drafting him Javante got hurt and he had the opportunity to be the guy and he didn't get it so for me P Ryan is a cut like if you if you need the spot no nobody's buying him he will sit on your waiver wire trust me as a free agent Javante I would still hold on to and you can't trade him because you know you're not you're not gonna get anything there's no I don't even think he has the name value really and you're going up against the Jets and then at Kansas City you know then Green Bay and then Kansas City I would say three of the next four weeks at least are going to be rough no matter who it is yeah but the rookie McLaughlin if you're in a full PPR I think you're fine I think he's used to yes dude yeah he looks the most explosive and I think he's going to impact in the in the passing game so the most I mean I mean if you're relying on Broncos at this point in the year I mean Sean Payton how embarrassing Sean Payton talks all this shit on the Daniel Hackett and then they lose to the Jets and I just I don't know if you saw the reports there's a lot of grumbling that Denver's very close to this blowing it all up yeah and starting over so again if you're relying on Denver players right now in fantasy I feel for you yeah I feel for you and best of luck yeah just real quick on McLaughlin so back-to-back games of 33% snap count so you don't like that you want that to be higher hopefully with his play it will be but 7 for 72 on the ground 9 for 68 explosive three targets three kept catches 32 for targets three catches for 21 both of those are touchdown so he's had to receiving touchdowns and back-to-back games for me he's the person you want if you're if you yes but I don't know if I'm playing him the next four weeks unfortunately he might be a let's get him and then see yeah he might be a let's get him and see kind of what he does yeah and go from there just because like you said it could be a flash in the pan yeah he might be if you can get him yeah keep him hold on to him on your bench yeah and if you have to play him next week dream by McGeddon yeah sure you know yeah I don't think he's gonna like give you a goose egg yeah so James Cook okay I know that he's then really good but you think it's just bad game yeah yeah and the bills got there late so like to me to me at the flu key game to me I mean West Coast the East Coast is hard yeah and now we're talking East Coast overseas but no I think it's a fluke I mean the whole the whole Buffalo offense yeah the first half it was ugly Matt Milano I think it was a fluky game again five attempts for negative four yards of oh like okay so great for sure so then do you think he could be somebody that you could target in a trade that you're trying to get off of this poor performance maybe for sure but again I think it's just such a fluky outlier yeah I don't I hope people aren't trying to panic so so he's been great he's been explosive yeah the only thing that and so the snap percentage 60 60 62 had only a 40% in that Miami game but it was a blowout so I think in the fourth quarter they just sat him and then he did have 62% of snap count again in that game against Jacksonville so he's he's still it's nothing about snap count so I think you're right like just that was a bad game put him back in your lineup I mean yeah he's he's averaging almost double-digit points yeah he probably actually looking at the numbers he probably is averaging double-digit points yeah so you like that especially he's not touchdown dependent he's he's getting the workload he's getting the touches again just a complete outlier yeah okay the Ravens backfield so Gus Edwards and Justice Hill it's ugly they just cycle through bodies yeah and just run them into the ground and then grab someone new I don't know what do you think so I think if I had to own one of them I would target Justice Hill just because I feel like he's going to get more action in the receiving game yeah yeah yeah and you know I think we're still trying to figure out this offense right they've moved on from the offensive coordinator that been there forever that just wants to run the ball into this you know newer style offense and it's only been five weeks you know so let's see but Justice Hill had 56% of the snaps seven attempts on the ground four targets four catches I think that's that's good enough like you know I think I don't think I'm yeah playing him unless the matchup looks like it's going to be really good and honestly when I say really good I mean like you know it could be a game that we think the Ravens and their opponents are going to go back and forth scoring so like the Bengals right where there's gonna be maybe some dump-offs and stuff but I totally agree if you have a shootout you think it's going to be a type of a shootout game mm-hmm they have to score points yeah Gus Edwards I I don't want on my team he he has like he's getting the the carries but if he does not get in the end zone it's rough so five five five the last last three games he's averaged five points yeah yeah if you can move Gus Edwards for something like if you get some of those games where he has two touchdowns on the ground you trade him ASAP if you have him on your team otherwise I don't see him yeah okay what about the Colts Colts backfield Zach Moss is the Adrian Peterson apparently yeah Zach Moss bull take I'm selling them yeah sell them sell them right now I would to tell him hi they they're not going to pay Jonathan Taylor they're not going to go through all this nonsense in the offseason yeah and during the season and just have a ride time they're not and it might be another game or two where the carries are still heavy towards Zach Moss yeah Jonathan Taylor is going to take over the backfield yeah so Zach Moss high career day I mean what the 23 carries for a buck 65 and two touchdowns 31 and a half yeah so high so someone who needs a running back yeah because again Jonathan Taylor is going to come back and he's going to take that backfield and if it could be in a couple weeks but I'm not and I'm not risking it for Zach Moss to go back to the backup and yeah have nothing to gain from it will be interesting I think you're right I think we will start to see this snap count and share get closer to 50-50 and I just don't know if that's what Zach Moss can thrive in he needs to go somewhere and yep and this is now this is crazy Zach Moss his worst was RV 18 yeah he's got three top ten like three yeah if you would have told me Zach Moss was going to finish in the top ten for running backs three times and he didn't play in week one yeah so three last four weeks I was one of the Dion Jackson fools I picked up Dion Jackson after week one and yeah he didn't do anything and because Zach Moss was like I am the guy but sell Zach Moss some today because I think out of everyone who we're gonna talk about I think you're gonna get your biggest return yeah especially after that so if you have Jonathan Taylor are you waiting to see yes okay yes I'll probably wait one more week yeah and I think this next week will tell what the following week will be yeah I think it was five or six carries this past weekend probably ten to twelve this coming weekend yeah and then I'd be comfortable because then he'll probably get 18 ish and it might not even be you know a majority carries a hammer majority snaps to him but ease them in there's again the Colts I mean yes the divisions not great but they're not playing for a Super Bowl they're not playing for anything crazy no they could go win their division but they need Jonathan stretch so I would ease him in like you said I think that's a great great thing that I'm not starting them if I still have them yet wait and see wait to see what his basically his workload is yeah okay another gross backfield the Minnesota Vikings so Alexander Madison and Cam Akers stay away I mean well you drafted Madison so what do you you know well no you didn't but like managers out there did and okay 12 16 10 11 he does have one one really bad one against Philly three three points but I mean he's consistently getting you 10 the last 10 or 11 the last couple weeks so I don't know man that's just a weird to me they made the acres move because they knew they needed a backup right I don't know if they know they need a backup or what because the the snap count so in week three he had 80% and then I think that's when they made the trade for cam after that week and he had already went down to 69 and then last week against Kansas City is 51 so he did have 11 points because he got in the end zone through the air last week mm-hmm so but 51 so that's like telling us that and it I mean it was game they were in like kind of down yeah right well and so for if you're Madison if you can get anything for him I think you trade him because I think it's getting to be a 50-50 and I wouldn't even be surprised I think can makers is a better running back I won't be surprised if he takes his job I think the biggest thing is they realize that Madison can't be the guy he can't be the number one back yeah he is a spell guy he is a he's the opposite of Zach Moss correct he's like he cannot be the back of that all of a sudden comes in and gets 30 carries a game he can't be that guy all right doesn't have that in his bag but we've seen when he comes in with fresh legs against a defense on a drive he's fine yeah he's very serviceable but he just he doesn't have the juice to be a number one back now I don't think cam acres does either anymore but I'm with you I think so Madison and if you have acres or if you want acres I don't even know if you trade for him I think it's just the thing is if you have them cool yeah if you don't you're really not missing out the only thing that I would say is watch this backfield because if they with with Justin Jefferson being out if they rely on the run game a little bit more that might be something to kind of pay attention to but you also typically got to be up in games and their defense is terrible so okay well this one's a really tough one the Titans backfield so Derek Henry and mr. ties a Spears the rookie now I don't think you ever sell Derek Henry I don't know I am I don't think you ever sell Derek Henry but I think you buy Taj a Spears yeah to me I just I can't I don't know how you trade Derek Henry I do I do I want out if I if I own him I am I am looking for one more boom game and I am out seriously if I can get I mean there's we'll talk about it but I think I'd rather have Joe Mixon like I think I would trade Derek Henry for Joe Mixon and maybe in something else like Derek Henry still has that name value and he also I mean we're talking he's two weeks removed from 22 carries for a buck 22 yeah he's gonna do that but he also we're three away from 11 for 20 you know and this was my fear with drafting him in general is just like it's at the age he is 29 you know he has a ton of care it's the carries this man had like three straight years of 300 plus carries yeah like that's insane and we'll kind of keep that segue in a few minutes but I just again I think if you can get Spears you'll love him especially in the passing game yeah that team has no threat in the passing game can they have D hop yeah who's been playing better but yeah the quarterback right so that those check downs those swings those screens are a lot more mm-hmm make me a lot more comfortable than trusting Tannehill to stretch the field and Spears is gonna be that guy I mean he's averaging four or yeah his snap count is 56 53 52 the last three weeks and he's just explosive he's got juice you know you almost like I almost benched remandre for him I'm buying Spears and I'm holding on to Derek Henry just because it's Derek Henry and it could even be Derek Henry could be a tremendous matchup guy if yeah but you drafted him in the like end of the first early second round you can't be a matchup guy at that you can still get value for him I mean I don't even know like could you could you get ETN for him just based on the name you know well but you never know right yeah it is down but I'm just wondering what you could give for him where it's like you know where you might be happier do you think okay here's one do you think you could get James Cook for him off of his bad game because I would do that if I had Derek Henry I think there's more season yeah I think so okay all right going to another tough one the Steelers with Chris's boy Najee I've been talking about this one for probably three weeks now huh said it week one you missed the boat sell Najee yep and Jalen Warren's only gotten more expensive the pie yeah so you got Najee you're either benching him to bench him or getting him to get someone else oh yeah you're not no one's buying him no no you cannot no one you're not trading him to anybody and then Jalen Warren I think if you had Jalen Warren started the year again his values gone up so yes if you're selling Jalen Warren your your haul is a lot bigger than it was week one I mean I don't have the numbers because we've just seen that snap gap count progressively become more 50-50 every single week started at 40 43 45 49 48 so it's creeping up there and again you want to talk about we're talking juice yeah Najee has no juice no and he'll have one good run a game where he gets like 15 yards you're like oh where was that correct it's it's so strange and again Matt Canada is the worst OC in football yeah so yeah I just can't trust them and I think if you watch the Ravens Steelers game that's going to be a lot of the Steelers games 17 to 10 yep 13 to 10 yeah 13 to 7 yeah you know give me the guy that gets like three or four catches George Pickens I know if I'm taking one guy on the team especially yeah and I want Jalen Warren and I you know like you said I'm playing him in matchups that I think there could be a potential for some for some more points yeah and yeah if I have Najee I want out and I I think okay so do you think he'd go to the Damien Pierce person and no straight up no yeah it's true it's not crazy though too because people are drafting Najee in what third round early and Pierce was like for fifth Chris in spirit is sitting next to me smiling right ear to ear so happy because Najee is not performing and he didn't fall for the trap again yeah dude again I think you missed that boat yep yeah going all right Jameer Gibbs okay second round pick in most leagues and just wait just hold on and here's why there's no way in hell you draft a running back in the first round in the real NFL draft and here's the second thing David Montgomery is on pace okay let me ask you this what is David Montgomery's career high in carries oh I'll probably say like 275 247 okay he's on pace for 374 he's missed a game he's averaging 22 carries a game he's played in four games he has 80 carries okay yeah so he's good but he's not that good so hold on to Jameer Gibbs yeah hold on Jameer Gibbs because week 10 on his value might be bigger because who knows if Montgomery even has legs by then yeah I think that's all that needs to be said yeah hold on to him you go on to a if you got Montgomery you run him into the ground yeah but let's let's do a couple of receivers right okay uh started off with Johan Dotson what do you do it's gross I think you just got to hold him because he's gonna be everybody's like he's Michael Pittman of last year yeah yeah that's fair so what about Debo yeah but do you sit him while he do you sit him while he recovers and you wait for one week of like okay Debo is finally back because it's been rough last year or you try to buy him low you try to buy him low because really his production has been coming from carrying the football yeah I use I you can then obviously kill it with his huge game but I think I think that's what it is I think you buy him low if you sell him now you're kind of Derek Henry you're yeah Terry Wilson I'm selling if you can what are you gonna get for him you know like I get that but yeah a couple notes on him was obviously he's not producing where you drafted him but his best finish this year was 17th he's yeah you have not drafted in the average eight a game no and now I'll go flip side Tyler Lockett yeah I'm buying are you I'm buying 100% okay Tyler Lockett hasn't missed a game in six years that's crazy yeah he's had four straight years a thousand plus at least eight touchdowns yeah eight nine so it's coming it's because it's been rough for sure yeah he I don't have it on here but to me he's like a Mike Evans he's gonna have good games he's gonna have not great games but to me the end result is going to be there at least a thousand eight or so touchdown he had to 21 6 & 7 so it's been well the two was the week one was the outlier right absolutely but yeah if I need a receiver to I'm going to buy Tyler Lockett because I think the price tag is still low yeah about Jalen Waddle it's been not what you drafted him I'm holding and if you can I think the buy price is going to be better today than it is in a few weeks yeah but I'm not selling okay yeah I think he's a trade for you could buy you probably buy him low you have guys you can move yeah I'm a little nervous about Tyler Lockett just with Jason coming off the bench you're off the by like yeah I argue if he should even have been out there with his wrist or something there's something there's something going on there yeah I don't know it's weird yeah and DK Metcalf's obviously the number one guy but right last one yeah you mentioned Adam Thielen I'm gonna keep this up right I yeah because who else do they have to throw to correct no he's target share is just ridiculous so and if you know Bryce Young is so fragile if who's their backup and not Dalton. Is it Dalton? It is Dalton. Because he threw for 56 attempts. If Dalton gets back in there like let's say Young gets hurt and Dalton's the quarterback. Thielen might get 15 targets a game. Right exactly. We saw that against Seattle. It was where's Adam Thielen you're getting the ball. Thielen is your he's in your lineup either as a flex play if you like to match up I mean he can he could be in your lineup every week but if you do want to sell him I think you can I think you could get something maybe you get Garrett Wilson and get a little bit more boom depending on what your roster needs if you want somebody that's more boom and bust you could trade the the consistency of Thielen and get that right now. I agree 100%. So let's see man. Yeah it's exciting. I'm gonna add this to see if Chris listens. Rudy is not the greatest football player in the world. Period point blank. End of story.
