Three individuals, Marielle, Max, and Rosalie, discuss their opinions on the DME technique in child care education. Marielle, a teacher, did not use the DME technique with her children and preferred following the advice of doctors. Max, on the specialist responsibility team, believes that the DME is not effective in teaching children on their own and prefers ensuring that children are taught the right way. Rosalie, studying in child care education, supports the DME technique as a good position and would use it for her own child. Hi, my name is Rosalie Lantin. I'm studying in the Child Care Education at André-Laurent-Doux. And today, on today's podcast, we're going to talk about the DME. And two people that I know will talk about the position on this. So the first person is Marielle. She's also in the Education Care Technique. You have my mom and you have my stepdad. Are you for the DME? Yes, I am. And why? Because it's a good position. And will you use the DME for your own child? Yes. Hello, my name is Marielle. I'm a teacher. Actually, I'm the head teacher at André-Laurent-Doux, which is a school that is here for students who have mental health issues. It's located at the Dartmouth Mental Health Hospital. I did not do the DME technique with my kids. Okay. And I did not believe in that technique. I preferred to follow the path that was encouraged by my kids' doctors, which was to slowly improve by doing seminars and then doing some training and improving. I did them every three or four days. And we decided a different route. Okay. Hi, my name is Max. I'm on the specialist responsibility team. I haven't followed the rules of the DME because I don't think that DMEs really want or have the ability to teach for themselves. I think it's a matter to be sure that children are taught the right way. Thank you for listening to this podcast on the DME. I hope you like this. And we will see each other next time on this platform. Have a great week.
