We have to have that same persistence when it comes to seeking God. We have to have that same drive to keep going forward until there's an answer. God will honor our persistence, honor our faith. You may be facing a real challenge in your life right now. Maybe you have a physical illness, or maybe your heart has been broken, maybe you were abused as a child, and you're finding it hard to forgive that person. I'm here to tell you that Jesus deals with the impossible. All you have to do is come to the throne of grace. Jesus loves you. Yes, Jesus cares. He has compassion. All we have to do is to stand on His promises and believe His word. You can walk in victory, and you can walk with your head held up high. Oh, how He loves you, and oh, how He loves me. God is waiting, so just let go of the past. Let go of your fears and your anxiety, your low self-esteem, and let God be your healer, your strength, your Savior, your hope, your righteousness. In John 5 and 5, Jesus met a man at the pool who had an illness for 38 years. Jesus asked him, Do you want to be made whole? And then the man, of course, said, Yes. And Jesus said, Rise up and walk, and immediately the man was made whole. So get off of your bed of hopelessness and self-pity, depression. Rise up and walk. According to Isaiah 61 and 3, put on the garment of praise until there's a breakthrough. What does that mean? You thank God for what He has done, what He's doing in your life right now, and what He's going to do. It's an act of faith. You may have a rough time at first, but just read the Word of God until it becomes real in your life. Pray until you hear an answer from the Lord. Sometimes you even have to fast and put away your meal for a day or two. God said, If you seek my face, you will find me. If you knock on the door, I will open it. Isaiah 58 and 6 says, Is not this the path which I choose? To loosen the bond of wickedness? To break every yoke? It also includes generational curses, homosexuality, pornography, substance abuse. Seek my face, says the Lord. Seek my face, and you will find me. Knock, and the door will be opened. We have the authority given to us by God to speak to ungodly situations in our household when evil and wickedness that have set up residence in your home. Let the devil know, Not in this house. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Stand for truth. Stand for righteousness. Through spiritual warfare, take back what the enemy has stolen from you. God has given us the authority. God has given us His power. When we walk in His righteousness, we can walk in victory. When we walk in His righteousness, out of our innermost being will flow rivers of living water. And we will be a blessing to ourselves and to others. When we walk in His righteousness, we worship Him in spirit and in truth. So rise up, my brother. Rise up, my sister, and walk in the name of Jesus. This is your host, Robin Anderson, from New Generation Christian Family Matters. Hope you enjoyed this podcast.
