The speaker emphasizes the love and desire of God for all people to be saved and encourages listeners to seek God and find peace, joy, and everlasting life. They also mention the importance of continued prayer, fellowship, and reliance on God's guidance in the Christian journey. Hi, my brothers and sisters, this is Robyn from New York City, New York City, New York. I'm Robyn from New Generation Christian Family Matters Podcast. We've been doing the podcast for maybe six, seven, eight months now, and I want to thank you, our listeners, for your support, for your prayers and for your love. We believe that our podcasts are the Lord's work, and we give Him the glory in our hearts and minds to continue to reach out to you. And, you know, that's what it's all about. God has called us to share good news. God has called us to share the message of the plan of salvation. I'm going to do that this afternoon. God really cares about us. His ultimate desire is that we come into His family, into the family of God. It's our obligation. It's our passion. It's our desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ. And what is the good news? That Jesus came, that we might have the right to be heirs of salvation, that we might accept Him as Lord and Savior, that we reconcile our relationship with the Father. And we know that sin put a huge gap between our Father God and mankind, and the enemy, more than anything, is to keep that separation there, to keep us from knowing who God is, to keep us from knowing what true joy is, to keep us from knowing the strength that we can get from our Father God. In Romans 1 and 16, it says that the gospel, the good news, is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. And it's as simple as that. We come to the Father and we believe. We accept Him. We accept His plan to be reconciled to Him. We accept His plan to be saved. And I think that's just so beautiful. The gospel is the message of God, the power of God to save us, to save you, to save me, to deliver us from sin, spiritual death, eternal damnation. I know that's a hard sin. How can a God that loves us, a God of love, a God of peace, send somebody to eternal damnation? But because of sin, that separation happened. But because of God's love, He didn't just leave it there, but He said, I want man to be in my family again. So He sent Jesus to be born, to wrap Himself in flesh, to share the good news of a better way, to share the good news of God's love and God's reconciliation that can happen through salvation, God's forgiveness. That's why Jesus came, to let man know that there is a better way, that we don't have to live a life of confusion, that we don't have to live a life of sorrow, anxiety and fear and ungodliness, a life that's not disciplined or controlled, a lawless life. But God came in the flesh of Jesus Christ that we might be reconciled. And even though God desires that no one eternal damnation, it's still our choice. It's still our choice to accept Him. It's our choice to believe Him. It's our choice to take on what He did for us and believe it and stand on it, give up ourselves, give up our ungodliness, ask for forgiveness and do whatever it takes to be in His family, to be in the family of God, to come out of darkness into His marvelous light and to take off heavy load and put on His path, His lifestyle. And He could do that for us, but we just have to give up those things that pull us down, to give up that way that's unpleasing to God. I know that when God came into my life, I was brought up in the church. My grandmother, a pastor, my father took over the pastorship, we worked with the Sunday school, we were part of the youth group, all those things. But all those things didn't make me saved. That wasn't salvation. It wasn't until I presented myself as a living sacrifice. It wasn't until I came to the altar and I prayed and asked God to come into my life. So it's an individual decision to accept Jesus, to be set free, to be made new again, to be a new creation in Him. In 2 Corinthians 5 and 17, it says, So when we come to Christ, He makes us a new person. You can't ask for anything better than that. God could take that old man, the old attitude, that way that we can't help, that path that we go down, we just can't help it because of our endemic nature. God could take that out, that old heart that's hard. Sometimes there's a lot of anger in there. There's hatred. There's confusion. There are some people that just can't help being who they are because of that endemic nature. But God could take that nature and turn us around and give us a new heart, a new mind, a new way, a new purpose in life, a new destiny, a new path to go down. But all we need to do is just give our lives to Him to repent and say, Okay, God, I believe the Word. I believe the message of reconciliation. I believe the message of forgiveness. I believe that Jesus came that I might have life and that much more abundantly. So it's about faith. And we all know the familiar scripture, John 3, 16, that God so loved the world. Yes, ugly to Him. He couldn't look at it. It was a stench in His nostril. But still He had love for mankind through Adam, disobedience to God. He could have just totally annihilated mankind, destroyed everything. But what He did is over time, through His love and through the plan that He put together with Jesus, that He might come and present a way that we could come back to Him and come back into the family of God. But He loved us, He loved us so much that He gave us His Son, Jesus, that whosoever believes in Him, as simple as that, if you believe in Him, you will not perish. You will not stay in your sinful state. You will not go. You will not know His peace or His joy or His forgiveness. If you follow the path, if you confess your sins, if you believe His word, accept His plan of salvation, give yourself as a living sacrifice, He will give you joy. He will give you His peace. He will give you His sonship and daughtership. And then the greatest thing is you will have everlasting life. So not only joy on this earth, but also you will experience everlasting life. Praise the Lord. 1 Timothy 2, 3 and 4 says, God loves us and His desire, again, is that all be saved and to come into the knowledge of Him. And we know that's over the knowledge of truth. And we know that the enemy is, he tries to keep truth from us. He tries to make it, being religious or being godly or the plan of salvation is just a myth. It's just no truth to it. Not cool. He tries to convince us that His path is better and that knowing God is not worth your time. There's no validity to it. But we know, we know that if you reject what the enemy presents and for yourself seek God, you will find God. The Bible does say if you ask, He'll answer. If you knock, the door will be open. And if you seek Him, you will find Him. So it does take something on our part. We have to want to know Him. We have to want to desire a better way. We have to want to give up those things that weigh us down. Give up those ways that God is unpleased with. Knowing that when we give up those things that He gives us something much, much better. The scripture does say, come all ye who are weary and burdened and heavy laden. And this world is like that. Sometimes you go through life and you feel like you can't make it. Sometimes you go through life and you feel everything or everybody is against you. You feel that life is unfair. You feel pain in your heart. Sometimes you feel pain in your soul. Sometimes your mind can't wrap around what's going on in your life and how you can better your life or bring lasting happiness and joy into your life or the peace of God. But the Lord promises that if we seek Him and find Him, He will give you all those things that you need and more. If you think of a person that's in bondage or they have no freedom. And that's what sin does to us. It keeps us bound and shackled and in the dark. But God promises that if you believe on Him and stand on His word and just come to Him and knock and seek His face, He will heal you. He will heal your soul. He will heal your mind, heal your heart. There's a song out there, Lord, make me over again. And He will do that. And it's a process. Change can happen like right away. Like, say, for example, you have some challenges in your life where you have addictions or maybe alcoholism. Or maybe there's just things that doesn't make you the best person that you could be. Yes, God can take those things away from you. Yes, He forgives you, first of all. You give it to Him. You lay it at His feet. Yes, God will clean you up and turn you around and give you a new heart, new mind, new purpose. But you have to continue to pray. You have to continue to seek Him. You have to give Him your all. You have to be in fellowship with like-minded people. You have to. It's progressive. And as you read your word, you measure up and you pray and ask God to fill us with His Spirit and He'll do that. The Spirit of God will lead you and guide you and let you know to go to the left or to the right. He'll give you wisdom and knowledge and understanding. And He'll just be there for you. We know that this world is full of trials and tribulations. And even once you're a Christian, it doesn't mean that some things don't stop. But God will give you grace and He will give you strength and He will be with you. He will never leave you or forsake you. He will always be there. There's a song that says He's an on-time God, and yes, He is. It's a faith walk. We walk by faith and not by what we see. Focus on those things around us, the storms of life that sometimes we have to go through. And we look at the billows tossing high and maybe the boat that you're in is just being tossed around like a toy. Our life is like that. But God promises you that He will be with you and that He will bring you peace in your heart, peace in your mind, and peace in your soul. He promises that He will never, never leave you or forsake you. And God is faithful. He's faithful to His Lord. He loves us. Yes, He does. Praise the Lord. Jeremiah 17 and 14, the scripture here says, Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed. That's an act of faith. Some of us need to be healed in our mind, our heart, our soul, our body. Just ask God, heal me, and I will be healed. That's an act of faith. Save me, and I will be saved. So right now, if you are feeling that your relationship with God is not where it should be, or you're feeling that, okay, God, I want to give you a try. I'm hearing about this salvation. I'm talking to other people, listening to their testimony of how God brought them out of the miry clay and placed them on the rock or took them out of the darkness and put them into His marvelous light. God can do that. He can save you. Your identity changes. You are a child of God. And to me, that's the best place to be. Praise the Lord. And then that scripture goes on to say, You are the one I praise. And once you give God your life, give God those things that are not pleasing in His sight, give Him your confusion, give Him all your baggage, and then ask for Him to come into your heart. Ask Him to forgive you. He will do that. If you have a sorrowful heart or you are sincerely a heart of repentance and you sincerely come to the throne of grace and you give your all to Him and ask Him to come into your heart, He will do that. That is what repentance is. You're sorry for what you've done. That's why Jesus came. So that He could take that sin out of your life, take that hardness out of your life, guilt out of your heart, and give you a new heart, give you a heart that's full of love, a heart that's new, a heart that has strength, and a heart that will just lead you and guide you and give you joy and peace. That's what we want. Amen. Praise the Lord. So if you're ready to go through, you know, you like what you heard, and you're ready to give your heart to the Lord, just say this prayer. Repeat this prayer with me. Dear God in heaven, we thank you, Lord, for blessing us this afternoon. We thank you, dear God, for an opportunity to come to the throne of grace. Lord, the gospel, the gospel is that you love us. The gospel is that you made a way. You stood in the gap that we might have a right to be the sons and daughters of God, that we may have the right to have a new identity in you, that we don't have to live a life of sin. We don't have to live a life of ungodliness. We don't have to have pain in our heart and pain in our mind, pain in our soul. We don't have to live the path of evil, the path of darkness, because you love us, dear God, and we give our lives to you. So thank you, Lord. Thank you for taking my sins and repeating this after me. Thank you, dear God, for coming into my heart. Thank you, dear God, for now I'm a new creature in you. Thank you, Lord, that old things are passed away, and behold, all things are new. Thank you, Lord, for making me a new creation in you. Thank you for dying on the cross. I ask you to forgive me, and I accept your forgiving me, Lord. I stand on the promises that I am now a child of God. I stand on your word that I'm a new creation in you. I stand on the word that I am now in the family of God. I thank you, dear God, that I let go of those things that easily beset me. I let go of the sins, the guilt, because you took it upon the cross and died for me. I thank you for your love. I embrace it. I thank you for coming into my heart. I thank you, Lord, that I renounce sin. I renounce the path that I used to walk. I renounce darkness. I renounce those things that are not of you. And I thank you, and I love you, and I lift you up, and I praise you for saving me. I thank you for making me a new man, a new woman, a new boy, a new girl. Thank you, Lord. I love you, Lord. I praise you, Lord. I accept you, Lord. Thank you for accepting me, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for taking away the guilt and the pain. Thank you, Jesus, for healing me, saving me. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Amen. This is Robin from New Generation Christian Family Matters. If you need personal prayer, or if you pray this prayer with me, contact us.
