The Bible encourages us not to become weary or discouraged in our well-doing, especially when we are physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. We may face challenges in our families, but we are urged to take our burdens to the Lord in prayer. God's grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. We can find renewal and strength in the Lord, as we hope in Him and worship Him. Jesus is the bread of life, and when we come to Him, we will never hunger or thirst. He offers us abundant life and the fullness of joy. We can trust Him to supply our every need and to bring things to pass in His perfect timing. We should not let doubt, fear, stress, or anxiety take over, but instead trust in God's promises and stand on the rock of our deliverance. We are empowered by the Spirit of God to be overcomers and to live in victory. We are forgiven, set free, and delivered The Bible says, let us not become weary or become discouraged in well-doing. You're feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. Utterly fatigued, just plain tired. Working a full-time job to provide for and support your family. Sometimes you're feeling anxious and stressed out. You might be having marital problems. You might be dealing with a child or a teen who is struggling with an emotional or mental crisis that affects the overall well-being of your family. In your heart and mind, you have given it all. But I encourage you to take it to the Lord in prayer. 2 Corinthians 12 and 9, God is telling us, My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. The power of God is greatest when you and I totally give our burdens, challenges, all to Him. So pause, my brother and sister, take a deep breath. Just remember who you are in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 40 and 31, there's a promise. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. The Bible goes on to say, you will soar on wings like an eagle. You will run and not be weary, walk and not sink. And Nehemiah 8 and 10 says that the joy of the Lord will give us strength. Sometimes something as simple as turning on your radio and listening to worship and praise, listening to the promises of God in music, and then learning to just worship Him and thank Him for what you have and what He's doing in your life right now. That will bring you strength according to the Word of God. Now, the Bible also says in Matthew 6 and 11, that if we ask the Lord for daily bread, the Bible is talking about is the spiritual bread. Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He that comes to me will never hunger. He that believes in me will never thirst. And you know, that's found in John 6 and 35. We know that going through life, we have a natural hunger for things that make us happy and for that which brings joy and peace into our lives. Those things are okay, but they are temporal. The bread and the water that Jesus gives is eternal, not only here on earth, but in heaven. His promise to us is, I have come that you might have abundant life. So in Christ is the fullness of joy, the strength for our soul, mind, and body. So my brother and sister, trust Him to supply your every need. Trust Him and have faith in His Word and believe His promises. Have full confidence that you can do all things through Christ, who gives us His strength, and that's found in Philippians 4 and 14. Now if we keep hanging in there in due season, not our timing, but God's timing, He will bring things to pass in your life. He will shower you with His blessings, shower you with all the things that you need. But our part is just to continue to trust Him. Sometimes, yes, we do have to wait on the Lord, but He will, according to His promise, strengthen our heart. So my brother and my sister, don't let doubt and fear set in. Don't let stress and anxiety and anger take over. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 41 and 10, Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed or discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, and I will uphold you with my right hand. So keep on believing. Keep on trusting. Keep standing on the rock of your deliverance. God is our deliverance. He's our salvation. Not only that, be filled with the Spirit of God, also to empower us, to be overcomers, empower us to live in victory, to walk in victory, to give us power over the enemy. In Him, we are a new creation. As old things are passed away, behold, all things are new. It's a beautiful thing to know who we are in Jesus Christ. We are forgiven. We've been set free from sin and spiritual debt. We've been delivered from the power of darkness. And you have to believe it, woman and man of God, that you are a child of God. You have a new walk, you have a new talk, and you have a new attitude. Your heart is clean, and God will give us His mind. When we read the Word, we become more like Him. Praise the Lord. Even if the devil tries to rock your world, remember, in Christ you are more than a conqueror, and you could live a life of victory, because we know that the enemy is defeated. In any battle that you and I face, God fights for us. And not only that, the promise is that no weapon formed against us will prosper. So, my brother and my sister, be filled with the Word of God. Speak life into your situation. Don't speak death, but speak life. Also put on the whole armor of God to resist and defeat the enemy of our souls. Remember, God loves you. He is a God of miracles. He is faithful to us. He loves us. He has compassion. He will make a way out of no way. It's a promise that He will not withhold any good thing from us. So, I encourage you to not give in. Don't give up. Keep holding on to your faith. Don't listen to the voices of defeat. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and the finisher of our faith. It's important to surround yourself with other like-minded believers. Plant yourself in a church. Be a part of a Bible study, a prayer group. The Bible does say that we are to pray for one another. And a prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. So, we have to really believe that. Pray without ceasing just to keep knocking until the door opens. Keep seeking God with all of our hearts. Desire His presence. Desire to be close to Him. Desire to worship Him in the good times and worship Him in the bad and the challenging times. Without saying, the blessings of the Lord will come down if you just wait on the Lord. It will overtake you. And not only that, His goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life. That's what Psalms 23 says. So, just hang in there. Continue to believe God's Word. Know that at some point, you will reap the blessings of God. So, please don't get wearied and well done. In due time, God's blessing will fall upon you. This is Robin from New Generation Christian Family Matters. If you need prayer, please contact us.
