Robert Kraft

Emil Robert Kraft was a German writer born on October 3, 1869, in Leipzig. His parents divorced early in his life, and he often rebelled against the strict atmosphere of his home. After finishing high school, his father ordered him to complete an apprenticeship as a locksmith, and he also attended the Royal Higher Technical School in Chemnitz starting in 1887. Despite his vocational training, Kraft pursued a career as a writer. He passed away on May 10, 1916, in Haffkrug.
