The Freedom Trail is a two and a half mile route in Boston that starts at Boston Common and ends at the Bunker Hill Monument. It takes you back in time to the fight for American independence. The trail is marked with red bricks and you can follow it on a map or by looking down at the bricks. Welcome to the Freedom Trail. Welcome to the Freedom Trail. This two and a half mile route starts at Boston Common and ends at the Bunker Hill Monument. As we follow this path into the heart of Boston, we will also follow it back in time, all the way to the fight for American independence. And fun fact, the entire trail is marked with red bricks. Now let's get started. If you're not at the Boston Common Visitor Center, head over now. If you are, simply follow the route on the map, which pops up when my audio ends, or look down and find the red brick trail. The next story will begin on its own.
