You will know that this person does not just carry a fading seal. They carry a fire within him that is burning for the work. Without the Holy Ghost baptism, we cannot truly serve God. Without the baptism of the Holy Ghost, you will not genuinely serve God. You will deceive yourself because when it comes upon you, it comes to trigger hunger within inside of you. Hunger for God. In fact, you will be the one looking for where to die for Jesus. You cannot truly die for Jesus if the Holy Ghost baptism has not taken place. It makes you to become ready to die for who? For Jesus. When it came upon me in March, April, I carried my bag. When I came back, I waited for one month. April, I carried my bag. I was looking for the most dangerous village to go. I went to a missionary walk alone. I went to a missionary walk alone without a companion. Alone. I spent three months, three to four months, three and a half months there in that missionary walk. I was perishing day by day because I couldn't control the fire within me. I couldn't control the power, the hunger that that thing came to stir. Christianity today, we have replaced the genuity of the Holy Ghost baptism with something that is not real. And anything that is not real cannot last because after some time, you will discover that it was not real. When something is not real, it cannot stand the test of what? Of time. Matthew chapter 3 verse 11. Matthew chapter what? Matthew chapter 3 verse what? Matthew chapter 3 verse 11. This is what is taught in the letters of the Bible. Matthew 3 verse 11. The Bible says in verse 11, I indeed baptize you with water unto what? Repentance. But he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and what? And with fire. So Jesus is the baptizer. He is the one that baptizes believers with the Holy Ghost and with fire. Luke chapter 24 verse 49. Luke 24 verse 49. Luke chapter 24 verse 49. If you are there, say Amen. Okay, verse 49. And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you. But tarry ye in the city of what? Jerusalem. Unto ye be endued with what? He told them never to get involved in the work of the ministry. He never permitted them to. He was the one that said, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel. Now they were about to go. He said, wait, wait, wait, wait. If you go like this, you will get tired. He said, go and wait for the promise of the Father in Jerusalem. That until there is endowment upon you, you cannot do this work. The work of God is not meant to be done in the flesh. Serving God is not meant to be done what? In the flesh. You need the endowment of power for you to be able to serve God effectively. You need what? The endowment of what? The endowment of power. So he said, wait. He said, tarry ye in Jerusalem. The meaning of the word tarry means to wait. Wait in Jerusalem. Unto you be endued. I don't know the kind of Christianity that is happening all over the world. When I got born again, the next thing my pastor was echoing to me was Holy Ghost Baptism. The moment you get born again, you will be pursuing Holy Ghost Baptism. But when people get born again, they remain ordinary in church. And in that ordinariness, we promote them from church members, they become ministers. We turn the power, we turn the fire, we turn the Spirit of God upon them. It was not like that. And that is why we are producing weaklings. We are producing weaklings Christians. Christians that do not have the stamina to serve God. Christians that will never stand for God in the midst of fire. Inside the burning fire, they will not be able to stand for God. Because the Holy Ghost is what makes the difference. The Holy Ghost makes the difference. So there is no passion, there is no hunger for the Holy Ghost Baptism among Christians. And the danger of it all is the people who are not... You see, when the Christians stay so long in the Christian community, one day it will come up with speaking in tongues. When you seek that Christian to find out when, how, let us examine where you will seek the Holy Ghost Baptism, you will discover that many of them learnt that tongue. Many of them got that tongue from feelings. It was not a canter. The signation of the Holy Ghost is not on that tongue. In a particular church, a friend of mine was telling me, he went to that church, he said, I have to gather them. They called them newcomers, and they came out as newcomers. They asked him, have you received the Holy Ghost? My friend said, no. He was not even ready to give that to my friend. Then, they carried them inside the room. They said they should recite, Lord Jesus, come into my heart. And they all recited it to be born again. So I said, okay, what was next? He said, they gathered there and they were praying for them that they should receive the Holy Ghost Baptism. When they prayed for them to want, they said, give them a book. They started to recite what was in that book. So he came to me and said, he has received the Holy Ghost Baptism. He said to me that I have been going to church for many years. That was many years ago, more than ten years ago. He said to me that I have been going to church, have you received it? And he started to say, Rabosh Kabash! I said, I don't want to receive it. Hallelujah! After a long time, about a few months later, that my disciple, I was going to visit him that day. He had to escort me to the junction. He told me, after a few months later, he said, there is no God. There is no who? They speak in tongues, who don't help him to stand through the test of time. He came and said, there is no what? God. And I said, who are you? He said, look at what you are calling me for. I said, no, I am not insulting you. The Bible says that the fool said, there is no what? God. Who spoke in tongues before me a few months ago, is denying God now. Because the kind of Christian we are raising, is Christian that when things are bad, you will not see them in church. Yet, when they start praying in their neighborhood, they are blasting in tongues. The tongues that does not have the designation of the Spirit of God there. In the early church, persecutions were coming, yet they were growing. Because everyone was receiving the original Spirit of God. The Holy Ghost baptism. I read the book of Acts. The persecution that came upon the church in the book of Acts has not yet come to Nigeria church. If it comes to Nigeria church, many will burn their Bibles. Yet, the church of God grew and expanded in the midst of persecution. Because everyone of them had what we call the genuity of the Spirit baptism. So, we see people that they learn tongues, they copy tongues. There is no definite account in their life. In those days, we are telling people, if you say you are born again, I will tell you to share your born again experience. If you say you are sanctified, I will ask you to share your sanctification what? Experience. If you say you have the Holy Ghost baptism, I will ask you to share your Holy Ghost baptism what? Experience. Today, we do not experience those things again. As someone begins to speak in tongues, a pastor begins to speak in tongues, and the foundation of the Holy Ghost baptism is that he copied it because he stayed so much long in Christian community. Even as we have children now, if our children stay so much long in an environment where they speak in tongues, they will start speaking in tongues too. That does not mean that they have received what? That does not mean that they have received what? Holy Ghost baptism. Shall we hear in Jerusalem, unto you be endued with power from on high. I want to be fast because I know we have questions. Acts chapter 1 verse 5. Acts chapter 1 from verse 5 to verse 8. If you are listening, man. The Acts chapter 1 from verse 5. For John truly baptized with water, but he shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Hallelujah. Verse 6. When they therefore come together, they ask of him, saying, Lord, will thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Let us read it together. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the utmost parts of the earth. Let me tell you the truth is real. You see this place in the Bible? Say it is true. When it came upon me, evangelism was my life. I was going from place to place preaching. You cannot receive the Holy Ghost. I am behind you. You can never. It is not the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah. He said when it comes upon you, you shall be what? A witness. In where? In Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria. And where? The utmost part of what? Of the earth. When the Holy Ghost has come. I said I couldn't control myself. The mercy my father had when he heard my prayer. In fact it was not that it was for me. Somebody called him. And they said they saw me in this village. Hallelujah. My father had to call me. Where are you? I said I am in this place. He said what are you doing there? What are you doing there? I was in that village. It was in that village that Saint Thomas told me that I was sharing the testimony with people. And some years ago Saint Thomas told me it was in that village. I was going to Abali's houses. If I know where Abali is. Because in that village you will see the Abali's at the entrance of the gate. They will bury something and put the red pieces up. So when you look inside the coffer you see red pieces. I entered into one. And the wives they came out. Beautiful wives. Fair in color. Beautiful. I said what are you looking for? I said I am looking for Baba. I said Baba. I said yes. You are all smart. I said Baba is not around. The younger wife came up. She said any problem. Because they couldn't understand me well. They are English. They are Pidgin. Not even. So my interpreter said to them what I came to do. I said Baba is not around. He cannot see the kingdom of God. They were looking at me. With children. Some of them just older with Rapa. You can see their breasts. And I keep saying Jesus is the way. Inside there. It was after he finished that meeting there. The next day evening. But I ran for. Everywhere looked dark. I said everything wanted to fall. That was when the thunder struck. And entered inside my room. Through the window. Picked me from the ground. And used me to hit the bed. Where I was lying down. The only thing that came out of my mouth was Jesus. When I stood up. My whole body was shivering. I had to tell myself. If the same thunder now. How would midnight look like. You know what I did. For fear that it would come in the midnight. I prayed all through the night. At the beginning. So that I could sleep in the day. And I spent three months and two weeks. That three and a half. With fasting. For that three months and two weeks. I was fasting. I hate all the ones in the day. And that eight months. Is around six, seven in the night. That's when I ate. Till the next night. Because I was just suspecting everybody. That God didn't want to come in to give me food. Some of them would come and say. Pastor. Pastor. If I opened up. I would see them and say. Take food. I would carry their food. Because I don't want them to know I was fasting. I would put the food inside the house. I would not eat it. In the afternoon. Towards evening. When they have gone to farm. I would carry out with the food. And throw the food away. Because I was in the midst of enemies. Because the Holy Ghost came. I couldn't just tell my father. What came upon me. But I knew that the power came upon me. Hallelujah. When the Holy Ghost has come. It comes to shake the foundation. Of your Christian life. It turns things around. It turns things around. It is so sad. It is so sad. That the churches are not preaching. Holy Ghost Baptism again. People are not receiving Holy Ghost Baptism again. You know what we are not preaching? Preaching that makes them to cry for revival. Without going through the shining of the Holy Ghost Baptism. Hallelujah. So the Holy Ghost of himself. Is the third person in the Godhead. The Holy Ghost is equal with Jesus. The Holy Ghost is equal with the Father. The Holy Ghost is not different from Jesus. Sorry. The Holy Ghost is different from Jesus. It is not equal. It is not inferior to Jesus. They are all equal. There are three personalities. Hallelujah. They are what? The Spirit. The Son. And the Father. There are three different personalities. But they are coexisting. They are interdependent on one another. Hallelujah. But they are not one person. So in the Old Testament. God the Father was fully active. If you read the Old Testament. You will see the Father speaking most times. But in the New Testament. Jesus came. But after Jesus died and ascended. The Holy Spirit ever came. But in the Holy Ghost era. Hallelujah. Though the Spirit. The Father. The Son are still active. But the Holy Ghost is more active. It is the era. It is called the era of the church. Hallelujah. And Jesus Christ spoke about the ministry of the Holy Ghost. If you read John chapter 15. From verse 26 to verse 27. He talks about the Comforter. That when the Comforter comes. He will teach you all things. He will comfort you. So Jesus was speaking of what? Of the Holy Ghost. When he talks about the Comforter. John chapter 16. Verse 8 to 16. You will see it there also. Jesus talks about the Holy Ghost. He talks about what? The Holy Ghost. So the Holy Ghost baptism. Or the Holy Spirit baptism. Is the endowment of the power of the Holy Ghost. Upon the believer. It is also the filling of the believers. With the Spirit of God. When you got born again. You receive the Holy Ghost inside of you. You receive what? You receive what? You receive what? The Holy Ghost what? Inside of you. When you got what? Born again. But when you receive the Holy Ghost baptism. You receive the Holy Spirit upon you. Upon what? You. So the one you receive inside of you. Is the one that gives you the born again experience. But the one that comes upon you. Is the Holy Ghost baptism. It comes to empower you. For the purpose. Hallelujah. So the dimension of power. After that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. Where we read in the book of Acts chapter 1 verse 8. You shall receive what? Power. After what? After what? Has come upon you. If you read the book of Micah. Micah chapter 3 verse 8. It say I have received power through your spirit. Micah chapter 3 verse 8. So that power. That Micah talk about. And that power. That Jesus talk about in. Acts chapter 1 verse 8. There are 5 dimensions. That that power comes to do. There are what? That what? Number 1. When the Holy Ghost baptism comes upon you. When you have experienced the Holy Ghost baptism. You receive the power to witness. You receive what? Now that witness talk about evangelism. Preaching of the gospel to the sinners. So when the Holy Ghost baptism have come upon you. You receive the ability to preach the gospel. And when you preach the gospel. Somebody will be touched by the gospel. So that is the power of witness. When you have received the Holy Ghost baptism. You receive a power to witness. Anytime you preach the gospel. Anywhere you preach the gospel. Somebody will be touched. Somebody will be what? Will be touched. Look at what happen in the book of Acts chapter 2. Peter finish preaching. In verse 37. It say and they were prick in their heart. And they cried out. Men I am bread and what shall we do? After he received the Holy Ghost baptism. The first sermon of Peter. God 3,000 people got born again. If the Holy Ghost baptism have not been effected in our life. Our teaching on the pulpit. Our teaching in Sunday schools. Our teaching in Acts fellowship. Will be mere information. Will be what? Mere information. It will just be a kind of. You know the difference between. Between the church Sunday school. And the school in the secular school. We have like your school. Your secondary schools. The difference between the secondary schools. And the church Sunday school. Is the presence of what? The Holy Ghost. If you don't have the power of the Holy Ghost. And you come here to preach message. Or you are teaching your house fellowship. Or Sunday school. You are just teaching what you call. Christian religion knowledge. You are just speaking to educate their mind. They will not hear your word. And bend. They will not hear your word. And be. The spirit of God will not be active in their life. While you are teaching them. Because you have not received what? The Holy Ghost. So it gives you the power to witness. That anywhere you are. You will begin to see multiplication. You see there are two kinds of goods. There are goods outside the world. And there are goods in what? The world. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. So one of the dimension of power. You are going to receive. Is the power to witness. And this is why you must endlessly content. Hope you are not distracted. You must endlessly seek for the Holy Ghost word. Baptism. Endlessly seek for it. Don't be comforted. But don't think it is normal. I know these days. Churches are not appreciating professionalism. That is spirituality. So in churches now. They look at. Since he is a professor in this area of study. He is a professor in this area of study. Let us make him a pastor. Hallelujah. So they make people pastors. Simply because. They are educated. They have money. They have cars. Not because they are filled with the Holy Ghost and power. I think if the Peter were to be in our time. Since they didn't go to school. I don't think the Peter would have been given any position. The Peter the hand group. The James and John. Because these were fishermen. They didn't go to school. So it was not professionalism that Jesus followed. It was spirituality. So Jesus chose them. And they became leaders over scholars. Because they were what? Spirit filled. But now the churches are now looking at the area of professionalism. This guy went to school. This one didn't go to school. So the one that didn't go to school. That had the Holy Ghost. Though he can read and write. He can teach. But because he doesn't have the certificates. He doesn't have the CB's. That the world expects. They will make that man to go and be what? A security officer in the church. You will see that man with uniform. People are coming to church. He is the one at the gate. Holy Ghost filled. Spirit filled. He can teach the Bible. But he didn't go to school. But the one that went to school. Possibly when he is coming like this. His car. And everything looks wonderful. But he is a graduate also of biochemistry or biologics. Hallelujah. And that one that will make that one to become pastor. Not because he has the Holy Ghost. But because he is a professional. So professionalism has substituted the place of spirituality. Let us go back to the Holy Ghost. That is why we have many Bible head study preachers. But we see few things happening in the society. There are many churches everywhere. But the community is not taking for God. Because they have not received the Holy Ghost baptism. How could Christianity continue from that time 2,000 years ago. And it still continues till now. It is because the men that they pass baptism to. From generation to generation. Have been men that have the Holy Ghost baptism. If this present church do not return back to the ministry of the Holy Ghost baptism. You will discover that after 100 years. Many name of churches you are hearing today will not be on existence. Or will not be in existence 100 years later. Any church you are hearing today. After 100 years. There are many churches that are so popular today. That you will never see their truth again 100 years later. So the only way we can equip the future. And be sure that the gospel will be preached to the next generation. Is when we have people who have received what? Holy Ghost baptism. So we are substituting the Holy Ghost baptism with money. Hallelujah. How do we go church today now? Is it the Holy Ghost way or the money way? It is the money way. Beautify the church. Put the AC. Log the church. Put the altar light. The party altar. That light with true light. That true light. And you know. Put the screen. The altar screen. Like. Screen. You screen the altar. So anything you are talking. Any Bible passages. Reflecting. You are seeing the Bible passages there. And we say. Let us turn it with giving. Tell them it is free. Let them come and eat. And we use those systems to build a church. But when we go back to the Bible. You will not see a trace of that system. Of that pattern in the Bible. The Bible says. And the Holy Ghost added to the church. Such as to deceive. But now we are the one adding to the church. No wonder we are having people that have been in the church. Today they are not fighting against the church. Look at what is happening on social media. People are saying that Christianity is a scam. You will not believe them. Some of them have been pastors. They were not spirit free. They were not born again. We educated their carnal mind. Today they are the one fighting against the church. Because when you don't use Holy Ghost's way to grow a church. And you want to use the secular way. You will raise up people that will later turn against Christ. Hallelujah. That is what is happening. So one power you receive is the power to witness. Number two power you receive. Number two dimension of power you receive. Is the power for effective service. Power for what? Power for what? Effective service. When you make a sister in charge of the children department. Before you blink your eye. That department has grown. You make this other sister in charge of this other sister in charge of this department. That thing is growing. There is effectiveness. Because it is what you carry into that department that everybody experience. Hallelujah. So the Holy Ghost baptism makes the work that needs to be what? Effective. Hallelujah. The power is for effective service. What does it mean of effective service? It means that thing is effectively going on. It is not sad that we have in the churches today all over nations. People that are not with the Holy Ghost baptism. There is no effectiveness in service. Effectiveness in service. Let me tell you the truth. You can never serve God. You are not meant to serve God without the Holy Ghost. Christianity is not meant to be practiced without what? The Holy Ghost. Without the Holy Ghost baptism you cannot. You may pretend. At the long run it will reveal. You cannot serve God without the Holy Ghost. If you can serve God without the Holy Ghost. Jesus will not pour me that he send me an helper. Jesus will not pour me that he send me a comforter. If you can serve God without the Holy Ghost baptism. Number three. That dimension of the power. After you receive the Holy Ghost baptism. That you receive power against sin. Power against what? Power against what? Sin. You have now got the power to conquer sin. Power to live above what? Many years ago I was living in the neighborhood with a compound. We know this particular sister. We call her big sister. She is a big sister. I think now she will be like almost 15. If not 50 now. At that time we don't call her big sister. Because we are all in the same neighborhood. We knew that she was not born again. But the man that wanted to get married to her. Was an aspiring pastor in the church. That would soon ordain him to be a pastor. And he loves her so much. So he was coming to her house in marriage. She was still living with her parents then. We were all living in the same neighborhood. At that time I was telling her. If I come home. I am inside her house. I will be yelling.
