In difficult times, having faith is important. The story of the four lepers from 2nd Kings chapter 7 is shared as an example. Despite their condition, they decided to take action and move forward. As they approached the enemy camp, God caused the enemies to flee, leaving behind food and resources for the lepers. The message emphasizes the need to have faith, trust in God, and act on His instructions. It encourages believers to focus on faith rather than complaining or relying on human logic. Demonstrating faith can lead to miracles and overcoming challenges. in hard time, when things are difficult you need faith, when to eat becomes difficult you need faith, when to pay assurance you don't have it you need faith, when there is no money to pay the children's school fees you need faith, it's not a time to be complaining and be murmuring, it's not a time to just be blaming the government alone, it's not for you to start thinking of committing suicide, all you need is faith to continue demonstrating faith in hard time, let us go to the book of 2nd Kings chapter 7, I read from verse 1, let us open our Bible 2nd Kings chapter 7 from verse 3 I beg your pardon, I read from verse 3, and there were four lepers men at the entrance of the gate, and they said one to another, why sit we here until we die, if we say we will enter into the city then the famine is in the city and we shall die there, and if we sit still here we die also, now therefore come let us fall unto the host of the Syrians, for if they save us alive we shall live, and if they kill us we shall but die, and they rose up in the twilight to go unto the camp of the Syrians, and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold there was no man there, for the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a voice of shepherds and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host, and they said one to another, Lord the king of Israel hath hired against us the king of the Ethiopians and the king of the Egyptians to come upon us, therefore they arose and fled into the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their houses, and even the camp as it was, and fled for their lives, and when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried in silver, gold, and ribbons, and went and hid it, and came again, and entered into the tent, and carried them also, and went and hid it. Look up here, he is talking about four lepers. Some of you may not have seen lepers, but if you are close to these Awusa people that are sitting at the road side, you will see that some of them don't have hands again. Leprosy has eaten their hands. Some of them don't have legs again. Leprosy has eaten their legs. Hallelujah! And we discovered that these four lepers, there was no food in the camp. In those days, a city is always fenced, and they have a gate. Any city in those days, they would fence it to them, and it would be a major gate. Everybody was hungry. Everybody was hungry. People were looking for how to survive. People were looking for how to continue life. Things were so difficult. Things were so hard. Things were so tough. Hallelujah! Things were so tough. Hallelujah! And they were all together in the room. They were all looking for how to survive. And eventually, everybody was locked inside and they were just thinking and talking. But these four lepers, they said if we remain here, we are going to die. If they let us just remain at the gate, because they were at the gate, probably they were begging for money to eat. There was no food inside the city. So, anybody that passed here would not give them money to eat. And now, everybody was hungry. Hallelujah! Are we together? Amen! They were all hungry. But you know what these four lepers did? They said if we remain here, we are going to die of hunger. Let us go and survive. If our enemies will kill us, let them kill us. But we are going to move forward in life. And the moment they began to move, God had to defend them. Because while the enemies were waiting to attack Israel, as those four lepers were walking towards the enemies, they began to hear voices of horses and shepherds. And they were like, who are those coming? Ah! Maybe it is the Israelites. They went to carry the Egyptians and the Egyptians to follow them. If these people meet us here, they will kill us. Hallelujah! Amen! And that was how they fled for their lives. And these four lepers, when they reached there, they saw that they have run away, they left their food and left their people. And eventually, these four lepers collected what they needed to eat. And they went to the king to inform the king that we have food now. In a challenging time like this, like these four lepers, we must go out with faith. I know your business may not be working, I know your business may not be working well, I know things may not be going like before, but anytime you wake up in the morning, before you go to your business place, like the four lepers, if people have been going and they are not making any sales, you will tell yourself, I am going to make sales. If people have been going and they are not buying from them, you are going to sell. And that is why we are talking about demonstrating faith in heart. In Hebrews 11 verse 1, the Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen. What it means is that even though we don't have any physical evidence to see, we must believe that faith can make us to see. Things are difficult, everybody is complaining, but you are looking beyond the complaint. You are telling yourself, in this economy, I and my family will survive. People are saying that there is no food. You are telling yourself that in this economy, we will never lack food in our home. People are complaining that there is no money. You must have seen abundance of money in this economy. In this economy, the Lord will be making us millionaires. That is what faith can do. It makes you to see the impossible becoming possible. Faith as a Christian means that we trust God to provide for us. You trust God to protect you. You trust God to shelter you. God will provide for me. I said God will provide for me and my family. That is faith. No more complaining. No more mumbling. You are depending on God, your final source. You are depending on God, the provider. You will say, I will never allow this tough season to discourage me. Whenever God spoke to His children in the Bible, they always act by faith. Look up here. Nobody has ever crossed the Red Sea before. Nobody has ever crossed the Red Sea before. Now look at Moses. There was never anybody that crossed the Red Sea before. At least if there was somebody, Moses would have said, if that person did this, I know God can do it. But there was nobody that did it before. Now look at Moses. Look at the Red Sea. Moses had to call upon God. God said, use your Lord to torch the sea into a path. As a Christian, we are made to act with faith. Anytime God gives us instruction, I remember many years ago, that was 2019, I was on 40 days fasting. One of those days, there was a lady that was born from birth as an asthmatic patient. She had been an asthmatic patient from birth. She had asthma from birth. That day I was at home. I was inside my room. So I was praying, and the Lord spoke to me. He said, enter by, and go to that place. Pray for this person, and I will glorify myself. Number one, who this person was staying with was a very disciplined woman. She was disciplined. She didn't want to see any stranger in the compound. But you know, when there is faith, you don't see impossibility. When there is faith, you don't see any obstacle. And that was how I reached there. Hallelujah. Amen. And I saw the person. I said, okay, I'm here to pray for you. I was scared also. I was scared also. I said, I'm just here to pray for you. I learned you have this problem. So and so person told me. And that was how I prayed. And that was the end of the problem. Hallelujah. Amen. It was faith. I would have said, what about if I go there and the woman meets me there? And faith made me to see that the miracle was already done. When God asked us to do something, you must not think about the obstacles. You must act with faith. When the word of God is asking you to do something, you must act with faith. Amen. The problem with Christians is that we start using our logic. We start saying that, what about if I try to do it this way? What about if I try to do it this way? You see, when your logic will make you to miss instruction, if God asks you to go into this business, it doesn't matter if there was no money. It doesn't matter if the people around you don't like you. As long as God asks you to start that business there, it doesn't matter. You see, sometimes what makes us to lose faith is that we seek for many cancels. We will call our mother to say, mummy, this is what I want to do. What do you think about it? And mummy will tell you that, that business, nobody has ever done it. And you call daddy, daddy, what do you think about this? And daddy say, my son, that is a very good idea but I don't think you can do it now. Let me even say this to you. There are some divine instructions you don't even need to tell your spouse. Not because your spouse is a bad person, but because if they want to advise you, they will advise you into fear. And this is why any time God's word is coming to us, we must receive it with faith. We must accept it with faith. We must do it by faith. Hallelujah. Amen. I went to a family deliverance. Yes, and I believe some of you have had this experience before. This man was an old soldier, a retired soldier and he had about 8 children. One thing I respect that man for is that even to the last born, all of them were graduates. But as of that time, the last born just finished from Delta State University. And she finished 4 years ago. But after she finished, there was an issue that Apple in the department that somebody died and the in the police station we called them well-trained but in fact we called them chancellors. And the person said that you sector people you will never graduate. They have graduated but they never got certificates. So I said okay. They invited me to come and do 3 days family deliverance with them. And while we were praying it came to the moment of prophecy. And I began to give prophecy and we were able to locate the cause of the problem. There was an old ancient tree in that community The father once worshipped that ancient tree. The tree was still alive till that moment. But when the father was younger they worshipped the tree. Although the father became a Christian and I saw the father they had to take me inside their room inside their parents' room so they took me from the parlor to go and see their father. And I saw their father lying down on top of the bed. They passed through pipe pipe from inside his body they passed it out and there was a sack where whenever you want to urinate you urinate through that pipe and enter the sack. Hallelujah! Amen! And then when I saw this man there I said Baba He doesn't know me before. So they began to say this is my pastor this is my pastor. I came there for family deliverance but when I saw Baba Baba has never reaped the fruit of his labour. None of the children were working. They were jobless. Baba now is about to die Baba is not enjoying the children. So I got angry. I told Baba there I said you are becoming free now. Baba said Amen! I said Baba I am going to pray for you now and you will go to the hospital tomorrow. He said my bikini I just got yesterday but I said no this one you are going to wear tomorrow. I said after prayer right now you are going to the hospital they are removing this thing you are urinating where is it? I think that was the first thing because you know when they come for family deliverance sometimes it was only one person that knew that God was using me. The others simply they don't know me before. Not everybody will die through this young man of God. And those days I expected that the man of God will come with a car they saw me with my leg to enter the house and that was that thing can kill the faith of anybody even when I entered the house I looked as if it was they never knew I was the one. It was their elder sister that invited me in a crowd and said I am Samavan that man of God I am Samavan I am Samavan I am Samavan I am Samavan I am Samavan I am Samavan I am Samavan I am Samavan I am
