Anime also introduces different cultures and inspires ambition. Sasuke is a character who inspires determination. Anime has a significant influence on our lives. Hello, I am Pranav Velu. And I am Priyanka Velu. And welcome to our podcast on how anime has an influence on people's lives. Anime, though with engaging narratives, relatable characters, and inspiring themes, significantly influences people's lives by promoting physical fitness, fostering education and exploration, and cultivating a sense of dignity and self-worth. Today, we are going to talk about how anime has an impact on these various aspects. How has anime influenced your workout routine? Many anime series are known for their intense fighting scenes and action sequences. Watching these scenes can motivate people to take up martial arts or other form of physical activity. Some anime, like Baki, and watching them has inspired me to take up routines and sports like calisthenics and martial arts. Baki has inspired me to continue to become strong. For instance, the founder of a popular fitness platform, Gym Talk, published by Eric Bohn, states that Baki Hanma is the greatest anime character because of his unrelenting worth ethic and his desire to become the strongest fighter in the world. In addition to that, Goku from Dragon Ball Z has also motivated me to work out because of his supernatural powers. Anime can become a great source of workout music, as many series have upbeat and energetic soundtracks. How has anime become a great source of learning about different cultures and histories? Anime like Naruto and Vagabond have elements of Japanese culture that can help people learn more about Japanese traditions and customs. Naruto has shown to become one of the best anime shows of all time because of this historical comparison from the show to the old Japanese culture with samurais and shoguns. For example, talking in Japanese has shown to become an effective method for improving language proficiency as it provides learners with the opportunity to practice speaking and listening in a low-pressure environment, with the added benefit of receiving feedback from a fellow learner who is close to their level of language proficiency. Vagabond is also placed as one of the best animes of all time because of the story plot of the hero's journey. He has traveled around the world to find more about himself. How has anime influenced people's sense of dignity? Many anime series have strong and empowering characters that can inspire people to become confident and stand up for themselves. Characters like Goku from Dragon Ball and Eren from Attack on Titan are known for their bravery and determination, which can inspire people to become more assertive of their lives. For example, Ross says you are not sure if you can do it, but you are excited about the challenges by doing it, and by explaining that he said you will push yourself until you do it or you fail, and get up and do it again. On his blog with his clients, Ross repeated the same mantra. Additionally, many anime series have the same themes of perseverance and overcoming obstacles, which can help people develop a stronger sense of self-worth. For instance, in Dragon Ball, Goku worked really hard to defeat his opponents and always continued to become stronger. In addition to that, Eren from Attack on Titan swore to get revenge on the Titans and the humans that caused the destruction of his hometown because of his mother's death. What anime show is your favorite and why? My favorite anime show is Naruto. The reason being is that it's a well-crafted story line that explores the growth of a ninja, and I love ninjas. It explores the themes of friendships, perseverance, redemption, and the pursuit of dreams. Overall, the story is also filled with an amazing antagonist, which causes the story to have a lot of plot twists, emotional moments, and epic battles, which I would say keeps me entertained. How has anime had an impact on your living condition? When I first started watching anime, it incorporated a lot of Japanese cultures, languages, and traditions, which I would say is a gateway to what I truly want to do in life, because it made me think about other cultures that would be very interesting to learn other than Japanese. If you had to pick an anime character you inspire to be like, who would you choose and why? Sasuke is by far my biggest inspiration. He has unwavering determination and ambition to become strong. The way he grew up was very lonely, and it made me think about myself, because I also came from a very similar situation like him. Throughout his journey, he has a lot of internal conflicts, and I believe that Naruto and Sasuke have truly understand the definition of life compared to other anime characters and other anime shows. However, I think Sasuke has gone through more pain and understanding of what reality of life is all about. In conclusion, anime has a very significant influence on our lives, from inspiring us to take up physical activity, to helping us learn more about different cultures and histories, to empowering us to have a stronger sense of dignity. We hope this podcast has given you a great appreciation of the impact of anime can have on our daily lives. Thank you for tuning in. We'll see you next time.
