Pete Eaton is concerned about their horses not being fast enough. He mentions that there is only one road out of town and they need to be cautious. They hide under a porch and discuss Gordon's fast movement. They need to come up with a plan to approach the cordon without raising suspicion. The timing needs to be perfect to get through the gap in the cordon. Pete Eaton. These your horses? Good that they're not too conspicuous, but I'd have liked something faster. Only one road out of town, mate, and there's no room on it for prats. Here, under the porch. Won't hide us for long. Gordon's moving fast now. Whatever she's planning, we'd better get a move on. Look. Reckon they'll ride in as though they're coming from out of town. Approaching horses on their own won't be any good, though. That'll just harden the cordon, get a dozen arrow tips pointed in their direction. Hmm. Somehow, she's got to figure out a way to pull someone out of position, get them to approach. And the timing has to be perfect. They get here too soon, cordon won't be close enough for us to get through the gap. Get here too late. It won't matter anyway.
