Different religions, such as New Age and Islam, selectively adopt elements from Christianity that they agree with, while disregarding or rejecting others. New Age beliefs borrow from Christianity, taking what they like and leaving behind what they don't. Islam incorporates the Torah from the Bible and adds its own books, like the Quran. Christianity, in turn, has its roots in the Torah. This selective adoption can be seen as a form of hijacking Christianity. So for our third statement, there is a quote that goes, There are people in other religions who are being led by God's secret influence to concentrate on those parts of their religion which are in agreement with Christianity. What do you think of that one? Yeah, I think there are different religions. For example, you could take the New Age belief where it basically hijacks Christianity and it takes the parts that they agree with, the parts that they like, and then they keep those in the parts that they don't like or they don't agree with or they don't understand or it's controversial. They don't accept those parts. And then you also have religions like Islam where they have the Torah which is also in the Bible and then they have their own, you could say, books added to it which makes the Quran. So I think that's also a similar version of hijacking Christianity because Christianity ultimately stems from the Torah and I guess Islam has their basis in that as well. I'm sure there's other ones too but those are just the two that come to mind.
