Pharmacokinetics is the study of what happens to medications after they enter the body. This includes absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion. In this presentation, we will discuss three medications and how they interact with other medications. Hello, and welcome to our presentation on Pharmacokinetics. This presentation will be presented by Damika Beans, Patience Delancey, and Bridget Donaldson. So, what is Pharmacokinetics? Pharmacokinetics is basically what happens to medications after they enter the body. The medications go through a process called absorption, which is how the medications are absorbed in the body, distribution, how the medications get to the target organs and cells, metabolism, how the medication is processed in the body, and excretion, how the medication gets out of the body. We will be discussing three different medications to include haloperidol, clonazepam, and propranolol, and how they pair with other medications they interact.
