Let me just say this, I've never been more excited for anything in my entire life. Welcome to the Fragrant Faith Podcast. Well y'all, the time has come and if you know me, you know that I've had a pressing to start a podcast for some time now and well, here we are. So let me tell you how we got here and what you can expect as a faithful listener. I'm Pastor Jaclyn of Fragrant Faith Ministries and I am thrilled to be here. I've been in ministry for 10 years in September and I've been in pastoral ministry leadership for about five of those years. I was recently preaching a sermon on my favorite minor prophet Jonah, you know that's my boy, and during that message I said, delayed obedience is disobedience. And in that moment I was convicted by my own message. And listen y'all, this is why I love the book of Jonah. No matter how many times I read it or I teach it, I'm learning and I'm growing from it every single time. And now this is not the first time that I was convicted for not stepping out on faith, but this time was different. This time would be the last time. I've been talking about starting a podcast and a calling to full-time ministry for way too long. And well folks, today's the day. Every single time I step out on faith, God blesses me abundantly. He's gifted me with the skills I've needed to be an entrepreneur, a single foster mom, a pastor, a worship leader, and so much more. And it's all from him and it's all for his glory. It's all for the kingdom. I'm so excited to be launching Fragrant Faith Ministries officially and tapping into combining these gifts into a ministry that offers expository teaching, fellowship, Christian content, prayer, and faith-based performance art. And I'm so blessed to have you along for the ride. On this podcast, you can expect down-to-earth teachings and Bible breakdowns, testimonies, topical conversation, multicultural and multi-generational Christian POVs, table talk with Christians at various stages of their walks, and a pouring into the next generation. But what I'm most excited about? A thrilling talk show entitled True Crime Bible Time, where our true crime lovers can get a fix while also being fed.
