Fasting Discussion -Discipleship 6-2-2023

Well, greetings, everybody, this is Pastor Tyrell Brown, Senior of Shanghai Life Life I'm coming this morning from my office here in Missouri City, excited to be here this morning, excited to be here with you in this airspace for the purpose of growing in our knowledge and understanding of God's Word. This is a wonderful day. It is a day that God made, and we shall rejoice and be glad that we already are. You know, his blessing started even before we opened our eyes this morning. He was able to begin to allow our lungs to breathe and our hearts to beat. He allowed our minds to think. And as we woke up this morning, he woke us up in our right mind, full of health, rooms over our head, clothes on our back, shoes on our feet, all that stuff, all those provisions. Beyond that, we were surrounded, encompassed. We are surrounded, encompassed by his love. And so it's okay this morning to have faith that what God said and what he promised, it is so. What God said to you in your dreams, in your sleep, in your meditation time, God doesn't lie. So when he says it, it settles it. It is a promise. For God promised you it will come to pass. It may not come when you want it, but he's always on time. And not only that, your purpose is being fulfilled right now according to his will in his time. Though it tarry, have faith, have belief enough to wait on it. Your promise is your promise. You didn't set it. Your purpose is your purpose. You didn't set it. God did. So trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not lean to your own understanding. And in all of our ways, good, bad, ugly, let us acknowledge God and know, have confidence that he shall direct our paths. Let's vouch. Heavenly Father, we love you this morning. And we thank you for another opportunity to be in your word. Thank you for sharing your life-like ministries. So God, Pastor Tyrell Brown, thank you for bringing my wife alongside, Evangelist Gladys Bowden Brown, Evangelist Bebe. And also, Father, we thank you, give you glory and honor for the Promise Name Global Five-Fold Ministry under the direction and leadership and anointing of none other than Pastor Donald Zeno and Apostle Sherell Zeno. And thank you, Lord God, for the psalmist. Thank you, Lord God, for the sisters. Thank you for the Five-Fold Ministry gifts that are being groomed, that are being discipled, that are being matured as a part of these ministries. We bless you and we praise you. And we're looking for more in 24, God. We expect more in 24. So expand our territories. Expand our outreach. Expand us, God. Allow our mindset to be enlarged. Allow our vision to be enlarged. And allow our impact in the world, God, to be multiplied and magnified. God, I lift up Sister Evanston. I thank you for the maturity and the growth in her. I hear it in her voice, so I know it's coming from the overflow of the heart. The mouth speaks, so I'm excited about what you're doing in her. So as she opens her mouth to speak, Lord God, thank you for giving her the boldness and the confidence to know that you have inspired those words. We bless you today. Thank you for the psalmist, God. We bless you and thank you for the teaching anointing that's being raised up even in her. Thank you for the boldness, Lord God. Thank you, O God, for allowing us to grow so that your Holy Spirit can recognize, separate from this one or that one for the service to which I am calling them. Not the ones that we're comfortable in, God. Not the ones where we find ourselves, you know, stuck in this place or that place in a position of immaturity, milk Christian, baby Christian. But allow us to grow to the point where we're confident enough, Lord God, to make decisions and to take steps. Though we fail, though you slay me, Lord God, the enemy calls us to fall, yet will we trust you in all that we do. We bless you this morning. This is a new day, God. This is a whole new month. The first Sunday in June, God, we're halfway there. We're in the summer season. They're telling us that this is hurricane season. But the hurricane that we fear, his name is peace, right? Peace be still. We know that you are the one who controls, who holds every wind and every storm in your hands so we will not fear. We trust you. We bless you. We praise you. In Jesus' name, amen and amen. I want to start differently this morning, apostle and pastor. I want to flip the mic. I'll put it in your hands, pastor, and then if you want to pass it, pass the mic to the apostle, pass it. Praise God this morning, everyone. Thank you for joining. I had to skip training this morning. Last week, uh, I decided to start praying and about to prepare a fast and then train. One thing that's really just been permanent in my heart is, you know, when we're in a scene for someone, a fast for someone, I heard, uh, in conversations, you know, the same fervency we pray for ourselves, we have to pray for others. The thing is, the scripture says, uh, the sexual fervent prayer of the righteous avails us much. So, when we're going through, we want things to take place in our lives. So, we tend to cry out for, we tend to plead with God for, to move on our behalf. In the same instance for others, we have to pray, and it's that same fervency. And I just image that when we begin to cry out, you know, God, God, you're free with our God. You're free with our God. You're free with the one God. You're free with the one God. You're free with the one God. You're free with the one God. You're free with the one God. You're free with the one God. You're free with the one God. You're free with the one God.
