The speaker starts by greeting everyone and making small talk. They mention that they will be discussing the articles of faith and their belief as a Baptist. They believe that the scriptures are divinely inspired and without error. They provide supporting scripture and talk about the authenticity of the Bible. They also talk about the importance of personal revival and being on fire for the Lord. The speaker addresses criticism and encourages listeners to focus on their own relationship with God. They then discuss the first article of faith, which is the belief in the scriptures as the authoritative written word of God. They provide supporting scripture and talk about the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in the writing of the Bible. They also address the importance of the Bible in their lives and its impact on their faith. The speaker touches on the origin of humanity and the unity of all people as descendants of Adam and Eve. They conclude by asking what color the soul is, emphasizing t Boom. Good morning, good morning, good morning. It's good to see you all. Let's do that. There you are, Mr. Ray. How are you doing? How are you feeling, friend? Let me. I'm looking at my computer while I'm talking to you guys. I'm trying to wedge this up a little. It's good to see you this morning. Good morning, good morning, brother Brian. Good to see you. Good to see you. I'm trying to wedge this up, everybody. So I'm looking goofy right now. Huh? What if I do it this way? That doesn't feel right. It feels too close. Let's go back to where we were. We'll just deal with it right there. All right. We'll deal with it right there. Let's see. What's going on, everybody? Hello from South Carolina. I love it. Feeling better. Praise God. Amen. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, brother. Good morning. Good morning. Let's see. Let's catch up now. Good morning. Good morning. Got my coffee here. Who's got their coffee? Anybody got their coffee? We're going to have some major wind storms, some rain today. That means tomorrow I'm going to be doing some cleanup. So amazing. Amazing. Good morning, everybody. We've got 116 on here already. Praise God. I get more people on here in the course of a day than I do at church. Mercy me. What's new? What's exciting? Hot teen honey, which is probably way more better for you. I love it. Good morning. Is that Scotia 9? Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, Brandon 50. Steve, got your coffee, Steve? I love it. All right. This morning, as you all know, I'm going to go over the articles of the faith as a Baptist. I am a Baptist, Baptist educated, Baptist trained, Baptist raised. I have looked at other denominations. I've been in Pentecostal. I've gleaned the Pentecostal faith. I've gleaned the Apostolic, the Assemblies of God, Methodist. And there's variations, landmark Baptist, missionary Baptist, free will Baptist. And so I've looked at all those, but I'm going to give you guys this morning, the article of faith. So I've got the, the, the article of faith that should be on our Facebook here soon. And then I've got the articles of faith with regard to scripture, supporting with what you would call the, the, the statement of the faith and then supporting scripture. So let's say some more highs. We got to, we got to do some praying. We will. Let me reiterate everybody. Do you also feel there's revival happening these days? I'll be honest with you. I do. I do believe. I know that, that some teach that there is not going to be revival. Some teach that, no, there can't be revival, but I truly believe there is revival taking place. I believe that. And I pray for it. Now, I believe in the sense that I want to see the movement of God so that souls are saved. That's where I'm at with this. Now though, let's look at this. We are seeing indicators. How many have you heard about that? Good morning, lamb. Good to see you. Turkey, another earthquake, six point something. Folks, we are seeing the intensification of earthquakes more than ever. We are seeing indicators that Jesus is coming soon. And the bottom line is this, are you ready? So revival, absolutely. See, I just sent a video in the chat of revival happening in Mexico. This is my point. Revival is taking place. And you know what? I pray at our church, revival just blows up. I really do. I, I, I, I, I, the anointing and the power of God, I'm, I'm excited, but you know what though? You know how revival I believe starts? It starts with you. It starts with me. Let's get on fire. Let's pray that something would just take place to get the hearts and the attention of people. It starts with, yes, it starts with us. Let's get fired up. Let's, let's yearn and desire. You know, I'll share the conversation. I was talking to a young lady the other day, and she was talking about at her church, how, you know, some of the people don't seem to be really completely plugged in with that personal relationship with the Lord, but you could hear in her voice as you spoke to her, that she was on fire, that her concern was for other people, but internally she was on fire. See, we have to desire to get on fire for the Lord. We got to wake up every morning with the intention, Lord, I want to honor you. If revival starts, start with me. If revival is going to blow up, blow up right now with me. Let's not depend on our neighbor. Let's not depend on the preacher. Let's not depend on our brothers and sisters. Let's get fired up, and that's what I'm talking about. So I, I, you know, I have never seen an outbreak of corporate revival, but I've read about it. I've seen about it, but I'll tell you what, every day I wake up, now watch this, hear me out, hear me out, hear me out. The, the, the, the, the awareness in my heart is so intense about the coming of Christ that I literally wake up every day and say, Lord, is this the day? Or, or, or Lord, what are you going to allow to take place in this world so that, that, that the hearts of men will turn to you? And Lord, I, I pray that you would allow me to be used in a powerful way to, to, to, to, to share the gospel. Because why? I am truly excited about what God is doing. So this all stemmed from somebody asking me about revival. Yes, I do believe God is doing something. I believe we're in those last days, and I believe that God is, is, is, is, is giving us, if you will, a, just a, a, a view, just a touch, just a feeling of, of what's going to take place. And these, and these folks on here talking about imaginary people and mocking and all that stuff, you know what? Don't pay attention to that. Do, do not pay attention to that. You know what you know, because you know, you have felt the presence of God, you understand the Holy Spirit, you understand the peace and joy you have within your heart. So don't pay attention to them. I'm not sounding crazy or anything like that. Be honest with them. If they had anything better to do, they wouldn't be on here making silly comments about what we're speaking about. If they had anything else better to do, trust me, if I didn't believe in this, if this wasn't true, if this wasn't, I wouldn't waste my time. And I would, I, if, let me reword that. If I were them and I didn't believe in this, I wouldn't waste my time. I don't, I don't go on anybody's page and try to convince them that they're, you know, make-believe or they're silly or this or that. I don't have time. So don't pay attention to the moderators. I appreciate you. I really appreciate you. Thank you for keeping them in check, but trust me, revival is taking place, but you know what? Start with me, Lord. Let's get fired up. Amen. That's the beauty of having peace, Mercy Me said. All right. Articles of the faith. I am a Baptist. What do we believe in? Let's start off with, let me start off with prayer and we'll go with number one, the scriptures. Father God, we thank you. We praise you. We honor you. We lift you up. Lord, we thank you for the blessing of seeing another day, the grace and mercy that you've shown on us and Lord, I pray for revival, but Lord, I pray that you start with me, that I'm on fire for you, Lord, that, that, that, that Holy Spirit, the anointing that just, just is so infectious that people around us will just ask us, what is it that you believe? What is it that you, you, you, you, you, what is it that you look to Father? I pray for that. Father, we thank you. We praise you. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. All right. I am a Baptist. People ask me all the time. So I've got my sheet, which is the printout, but I've got my scriptures right here that support what we believe. Sorry about the glare from my glasses with all that matter of fact, it's sort of annoying. It's a little, it's a little too much light to some degree, but here we go. The first thing that we believe, the scriptures, what do we say? We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instructions, that it has, that it has God for its author, salvation for its end and truth without any mixture of error for it matter, for it matters that it reveals the principle by which God will judge us and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creed, and opinions shall be tried. That is the first, the scripture of being a Baptist, the articles of the faith for us. We believe that the scriptures stand alone and only alone. We believe that the word of God is the standard in which we judge everything. We have an opinion, we go to the word of God and we, we, we compare it and the word of God will supersede the opinion, ideologies, and philosophies of men. But now let's go, let's look at some of the, why, what scriptures that support that. We can go to 2nd Timothy 3.16, 2nd Timothy 3.16 and 17. Let's all go there real quick. 2nd Timothy 3.16. And so for today, we're just going to stick on the scriptures, if that's okay. All right. So today we're going to stick with just the scriptures. So 2nd Timothy 3.16, 17 says, all scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, training, and righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. We believe that once again, the articles of the faith, we believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is perfect treasure, and it is heavenly instruction. So the Bible is the standard. I believe the Bible. Now watch, this is very interesting. Let me take a sip here. A lot of people talk about the authenticity of the Bible. And do you know, I, I, I, as over the years, I've done some research and study. Do you know there has been thousands upon thousands of archaeological digs when it comes to just the Bible alone? Think about it. Thousands upon thousands of archaeological digs. Now here's the beautiful part. Every one of those digs completely complemented the Bible and never contradicted it. Think about it. All those digs, all those, all those archaeological digs, all those, uh, you know, with reference to historical events that took place in the Bible, not one of them conflicted to what the word of God said. Not true. Well, my friend, would you please explain why do you say that's not true? Not one archaeological dig has contradicted the word of God. All right, let's go on a little bit You know what? I'm, I'm so sorry. I know some of you here to listen. And I should not pay attention at moderated. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't be doing your job. Let I'll let you do that. Please forgive me. If a person does not believe it's true, that's fine. They have their opinion. Please forgive me. Let me stay on point. All right. I am so sorry. So let's think about it. All the archaeological digs that have never contradicted the word of God, that within itself is powerful. Let me take this a little bit farther. Let's talk about all the manuscripts, all the manuscripts, 6000 manuscripts. Do you know that the Bible itself, check this out, this is this is powerful. Watch this, the Bible itself, in its full completion, the New Testament, all right, first century, basically, we have manuscripts from the first century, literally from the first century. Do you know there have been bits and pieces of parsonage found of the book of john from that century, and they line up with precision with our word that we have today. Let me take this a little bit further. If you were to take if you were to take the fathers of the faith, the original fathers of the faith, let's say, let's say 70, the 80 years after Christ, do you know, if you were to basically take their writings, and their commentaries, that you could piece the Holy Testament together by themselves? Let me repeat that. So if you were to take their commentaries, and their writings with regards to Scripture, you could compile all that data that they had not using the manuscripts, not using anything else, but taking what their commentary said, with regards to the Bible, you could piece the New Testament together in completion. Why do I say that the Bible is a collection of historical documents, written by eyewitnesses in the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. And that's another thing. What about the eyewitnesses? And what about the lifetime of other eyewitnesses? This was written by by holy men. This was inspired by God. And the events were written in front of other eyewitnesses that saw the events take place. Now watch this. They report supernatural events, right? That took place in the fulfillment of certain prophecies. Now if you think about this, watch this, 40 authors of the Scriptures, the Bible, 40 authors over the course of, I don't know, 1400 years? And from Genesis to Revelations, they all point to what? Salvation? They are all congruent? They connect, line up on line, precept on precept? Trust me, you could take, watch this, let me take a sip here. You take 40 authors over 40 generations, over a millennia, and they can line up and be completely on point with regards to the Scripture and the Bible. You could never do that. The world books of knowledge, the world books of knowledge, from great minds in the 21st century, the great book of knowledge, you could take 10 of those authors and you could take a particular subject, a particular subject, and they could not and would not be even able to agree with each other. But in the Bible, they never disagree with each other. There's, as the great word my friend uses, I love it, the congruency of the Word of God is on point. Think about it. That's amazing to me. And so we believe as Baptists, that we believe that the Holy Bible was written by men, divinely inspired, and is perfect treasure of heavenly instruction, that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error. There's no error in the Bible. There's no error. Now, there's some things that people say, well, that's contradictive. There's no error in the Bible. It is line up on line, precept on precept. It connects with each other. But the problem is what some person might take just a small smidgen, a piece of it, and they try to turn that around. You've even got people on here of other faith. When I mean other religions, they try to dismiss the authenticity of the book of John or the authenticity of the writings of Paul. They do that. Why? Because they want to diminish the Word of God. Now, though, let me ask you guys something real quick. We believe God is all-knowing and all-powerful. Can man really destroy God's Word? No. God has kept His Word intact for us today. So with all that being said, we believe that the Scriptures is the authoritative written Word of God. Let's look at 2 Peter 121. 2 Peter 121, please. 2 Peter 121. For prophecy had its origin in human will, but prophets through humans spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. Now, mind you, I'm using the NIV because I really need you to hear this. But once again, for prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets through humans spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. We believe, once again, as Baptists, that this Word that we read, the Bible itself, was not a personal interpretation, but prophets and the apostles and the authors were inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe that these writers were writing about things, eyewitnesses and events and things that took place. And on top of that, we also believe that the authors claim that their writings were divine and not human in origin. So the Bible was divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. Now, watch this. Hang on. Inspired. A lot of people get a little confused about that, about inspired. And inspiration takes place today. Let me give you an example. Let's say that you are listening to your favorite artist, music that is, and you see an interview and they ask this individual, they say, how are you inspired to write this song? And that individual will say, well, that's funny that you'd ask that. I was on an island or, you know, I was, you know, next to the surf and, you know, the sound of the ocean, it inspired me. And people do this all the time. They say, my inspiration to write a book came from this. Well, the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit. And on top of that, the Bible would not and could not be written by man. See, man wouldn't write the Bible. He wouldn't. He couldn't because man does not write things that condemns himself. Man writes things that condone his actions. Man would write something like, well, if you do good, you get you get X amount of virgins in the afterlife. Man writes things that condone his actions and what he wants to do. But the Bible, perfect example, what man would write, and you guys correct me if I'm wrong, what man would write, even if you look at a woman and lust in your heart, you've committed adultery already. Would a man write that? No, a man would not write that. You know what a man would say? Oh, you can look as long as you don't touch. That's what man would write. Or man would write, he would take it a little bit further and says, and there's some who will take it out of context. Well, you know, it's okay to have more than one wife. I saw it in the Old Testament. It's being done there. So why not do it here? And that's what man does. Man manipulates and bends the Word of God, but man would not write the Bible on his own. It's only by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Look at 1 Samuel 23.2. 1 Samuel 23.2. He inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go and attack these Philistines? And the Lord answered him, Go attack the Philistines, and save Calah. Meaning, in this case, God in his sovereignty, as we understand that God is the author and finisher of our race. When I mean by race, I mean literally running the race itself. But people, I don't understand how they don't believe the Word of God. I don't understand how they dismiss the Word of God. The Word of God within itself to me is my life. It is giving me direction. Josh, good morning. It's good to see you. The Word of God gives you the origin of humanity, origin of what the things that you see. Even when it comes, I'll give you, well, I don't even know if I want to share this, but let me share something with you, an incredible perspective. You know, there's a lot of conversations, a lot of debates with regards to is Jesus black? Is Jesus of ethnicity, is he black? We get concerned with folks with regarding saying we're the black Hebrews. And that has me concerned, but watch this. I'm going to drop something on you real quick. As I look in the Bible, and you look at the origin of humanity, does ethnicity really matter? Think about it. Does ethnicity really matter? And I'm going to look at some responses here. Does ethnicity really? No, no, no, it does not matter. Now, let me tell you why. Are you ready? Why it doesn't matter? Okay, I'm going to ask you the most important question of the day. I'm going to show you why it doesn't matter. All right. This is a statement, not the question. There you go. There you go. Somebody just said it. Watch this. When I read the Bible, and I see the origin of humanity, we come from the same two people. This is right in the Bible. Once again, the inspired Word of God. This is when you study the Word of God, and you really try to dive deep into the Word of God. It causes you to understand why we have the issues that we have in the world. But here we go. As I study the Word of God, and I understand that each one of us comes from Adam and Eve, here's the question I have to ask you. I'm going to tell you why ethnicity is not important. Are you ready? And here's the question. What color is the soul? What color is the soul? See, by the Bible, once again, we believe the Holy Bible. When you believe the Word of God, you understand where we come from. When you believe the Word of God, you understand our origin. When you study the Word of God, and you accept it, it's superior to everything else. Look at Lambert. She said, hmm, what color is the soul? There is no color. This is why Jesus says, He is not respecter of person. But you've got to understand that you must understand the Word. You must study the Word. Now, I know some of you might so well say, Pastor Paul, there were some folks that committed slavery in the name of Jesus. There were some people that used Christianity to violate other countries, and the list goes on. But that was not of God. That was people under the banner of Christianity, progressing an evil action. But that wasn't of God. Because if you read the Scriptures once again, God is about loving your neighbor. God is about not being respecter of person, because when it boils down to it, there is no ethnicity with regards to the soul. And God is not respecter of person. And Jesus came, as I read the Bible, the inspired Word of God, not by man, but inspired by the Holy Spirit. Jesus went to the cross for souls. Folks, think about that. Think about that. That is something God gave me not too long ago. What color is the soul? But you will never understand that question or be able to answer that question until you understand that all Scriptures were inspired by God, and we believe that the Holy Bible is the standard. The last part of this, we say what? And the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried. And so when someone comes to me and says, I am a black Hebrew-lite, and I compare to the Word of God, I say, you are a liar, and your father is the devil. When somebody says, you are less than, or you are inferior, I say, you are a liar, and you are a child of the devil, based on the Word. Because why? I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am made in the image of God. When someone says, we have evolved from an animal, and I look in Genesis, and it says something opposite, I say, you are a liar. Why? Because that last part, and we believe the Bible is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried. Think about it. It is a simple thought. It is a simple concept. We as Baptists place the Bible at the number one spot. Now, you might say, well, Pastor Paul, doesn't everybody do that? That are followers of Christ? Do they? But to answer that question, does everybody who says they are followers of Christ place the Bible in that position of authority? No. Not everybody. There are some preachers out there teaching that there is no literal hell. That is contradictive of the Bible. There are some people that teach that one can lose their salvation. That is not of the Bible. There are some people that believe that the Bible is not good enough, and I need a book to support the Bible. Let me give you an example of that. I was in the front yard one day, and I had a couple of young men that were dressed in white shirts, and they had ties on. They were very nice young men. They came by, and they wanted to talk to me about their faith. I was absolutely delighted to speak to them, but what I did is I challenged them. I said, well, you know what? Tonight I'm a little busy, but if you two would come back next week at this time, I would love sitting and talking to you. They said, okay, all right, great. I go, but this is what I want to do. I want us to pretend, if you will. And they said, what? I said, I want us to pretend that we are on a beach, and I'll answer that question about the Catholic faith. Let me finish this. Let's pretend that we are on a beach, and we stumble on a Bible. I go, and we're going to open it up for the first time, and we're going to read through some scriptures, and then we're going to dialogue about what we read and really get a clear understanding of what these scriptures are telling us. I go, but with all the while, we are going to come to the conclusion that this right here is the inspired Word of God. So they both looked at me, and they said, okay, we'll do it. However, pastor, they said, we also want to be able to communicate and go through the Book of Mormon at the same time. I said, wait, let's stop right there. I go, you believe in the Bible, don't you? They said, yes, we do believe in the Bible. I said, well, if you believe in the Bible, then we should just be able to stick with the Bible alone. They said, well, what do you mean? I said, well, I don't believe in the Book of Mormon. I believe in the Bible. They said, well, that's not fair. No, I go, it is fair. You're trying to force me to read something I don't believe, and I'm trying to ask you to read something that you do believe. They were puzzled. But see, why they did that is because they don't believe that the Word of God stands on its own, that it needs to be supported by the Book of Mormon. Did you guys get my drift? They believe, my Mormon neighbors, my LDS friends, they believe that the Bible does not stand alone, that it needs to be supported by an external book, in this case, the Book of Mormon. Well, after a period of time and reasoning with them, they said, okay, we'll do that. And I said, let's agree. We're going to do the Bible alone, nothing else. And they agreed, but they never came back. Why? Because they believe that the Bible in itself, the Word of God from Genesis to Revelations, does not and will not stand alone. And they're not the only ones who believe that. What about the Jehovah's Witnesses? They have changed and altered. They have declared that their experts in Greek and in Hebrew have written a better interpretation, which is far from the truth. Far from the truth. So we believe, once again, and I reiterate, and I read this, we believe that the Holy Bible is written by men divinely inspired, and is perfect treasure of heavenly instructions, that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter. That it reveals the principles by which God will judge us, and therefore is and shall remain to the end of the world the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried. Once again, the Bible as a Christian is our instructions for use. Our IFU, our instructions for use. We get instructions, we get, once again, what is the first scripture? Well, let me read it. I don't like the NIV version of this particular one, but let me read it to you. And we went over this, by golly, a thousand times the other day, but I like the King James or the New King James version better when it says this. Watch this. What do we believe? We believe right here that, what? Oh, I got us in the wrong spot. Hang on, let me see. Oh my Lord, look at me, look at me, look at me. Let me take you to 2 Timothy 3 16. I like, I like how it sounds better right here. And what does it say? It says right here, it says, All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. So we believe that the word of God thoroughly equips you for every good work. And not only that, that all scripture was given by inspiration of God. But you know what, Satan? I had somebody, wait, let me see, do I have that book in here? Oh, somebody wrote in a Bible that they gave me when I was in school. This says, This book will keep you away from sin. And if you're not in this book, sin will keep you away from it. Meaning, if you're in this word, you understand sin. If you're in this word, you understand what you're dealing with. You're in this word, you understand what you got to do. But if you're not in this word, and we said this the other day, if you're not in your word, your flesh will eat. You will go opposite of it. This is right here. This reigns supreme. How can I say this with all humility? We're going to stop right there on that. I think we've covered enough on the scriptures. And my God, we've got a bazillion more scriptures that we could read on that. I mean, Romans 3, 1 and 2, what advantage then is there in being a Jew or what value is there in circumcision, much in every way, first of all, Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God, we understand that the words of God came through our Jewish brothers and sisters, and we've inherited. But those scriptures, the first three scriptures are the ones that I wanted you to hear. But with all that being said, the Word of God, and I want to say this with all humility, elevated my intellect by leaps and bounds. With all humility, I've always been a pretty intelligent cat, meaning I could reason I could logic, I've never been an Einstein, I've never been a guy that could sit and you know, formulate mathematical equations and yada, yada, yada. But I've always had logic, understanding and the ability to think. But it wasn't until I got into the Word that my understanding of world issues, origins of things and events, it wasn't until I got in the Word of God that went from here to here. Just the question, think about that question, what color is the soul? That's a deep thought, not intellectually, but on every other level, that's a very deep thought that was inspired by the Bible, that was inspired by the Word of God. And it's nothing I've ever, you know, generally thought about it, but it was studying God's Word and being moved by the Holy Spirit by the Word of God. And so it's when I started studying my Bible, my level of understanding with regards to the world, went, just blew up. So what am I trying to say, folks, if you get in your Word, you're going to have some understanding about the world, you're going to have to have some understanding about why things are happening and why they're taking place. When you start, let me close this because the light's annoying, when you start getting in your Word, you really get a crystal clear view of what God intends for us, but you've got to get in your Word. And you guys can't depend on me, or I want to say this in a very beautiful, polite way. You go to, you go to, go on, okay, let me ask you guys a question. How many went to church on Sunday? How many of you? Give me at least, at least 20 people say, I went to church on Sunday. But how many of us went to church on Sunday? Okay. How many? Okay, me, there's the first one, there's a me, there's one. But let's get, at least three people say, who went to church on Sunday? Who went to church? Me, me, I did, me. Excellent. Keep going. Who went to church? Who went to church? Okay, good. All right, here we go. You went to church on Sunday. And I hope it was a wonderful sermon. But here, here's what I want to ask you. Did you go home and read what the preacher preached? Did you go home? Did you take notes in church? Did you get your number two pencil? Did you get your notepad? And did you write? And I know some churches have where you fill in the blanks. But I mean, did you get your notepad and write those verses down? Okay, the preacher preached in this scripture, that scripture, and that scripture. And there goes someone who said, yes, I do that all the time. Amen. Amen. Because why? We need to study ourselves. This is how you keep the preacher accountable. This is how you grow in the faith. This is what disciples do. But you know what we do most of the time? Football's not here. But what we used to do is we go to church. We might go stop by at the Cracker Barrel to grab something to eat. And we go home and watch the football game. That's what some of us do. Not all of us. But what we need to do is we need to hear that message. Okay? Maybe they recorded it. You can even listen to it on your way home again or when you get home. And you need to get in your Bible. You need to highlight it. You need to make the side notes. And you need to look at, where was that preacher going? What was he diving into? What was the subject matter? What are some supporting scriptures? Because maybe he only had 45 minutes or an hour to preach the word, but there was so much more that you want to build on top of that. Not to, how can I put it? You don't want to do it as a person trying to find flaws in his sermon. Don't get me wrong. I want you, when you hear me, I want you to call me out if you hear something wrong. However, don't do it to find flaws in one's understanding or sermon, but build on your self-edification with regards to who you are as a disciple. You should come from every sermon equipped a little bit better in the faith. You should be coming, thank you so much, you should be coming from every sermon fortified in your walk with the Lord. Now, mind you, I think it's in the book of Matthew. Somebody let me know where that's at in the book of Matthew, where it says, baptizing, making them disciples. Where's that at? Somebody help me out. Where's that at in the book of Matthew, when it talks about baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit? Where's that at? Can somebody get me there? You know, Pastor Paul needs a little help on certain things. Where's that at? Baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Where's that at? Somebody help me out. Come on, help an old preacher out here. No one? No one knows where that's at? No one? Somebody get me there. Good morning, Pastor and Mrs. Debbie. It's Rosemary from Fresno. Ms. Rosemary, good to see you. Good to see you. You know what? We talked about Joseph intensely the other day. Praise be to God. Well, I think it's Matthew 28 and our sister to go. So is it Matthew 28? And what is it? 19 and 20? 18, 19. And Jesus came and spoke to them. All authority has been given to me in heaven on earth. He says, go therefore and make disciples of all nations. So disciples, disciplined students, will listen to the word for that day. And what they do is they will go home and they will study their word. They will study their word. They will be in their word and they will meditate on that word. And I tell you what, you start studying the word of God. All of a sudden, you'll start seeing your understanding of things go from here to here. You start studying that word. All of a sudden, you find yourself not engaging in like goofy conversations. You'll find yourself wanting to be around like-minded people so that you all can speak of the faith. This is why the Bible says iron sharpens iron. Look that up for me. I think people kid me. Tell me where that iron sharpens iron at. Somebody take me there. Iron sharpens iron. Because I know people hear me say that, but we got to look at it. Where's it at? Somebody look it up for me. Where's iron sharpens iron? Let's look at that scripture. I know it's not in the New Testament, but let's go. Somebody, where's iron? Where's that word at? Iron sharpens iron. Come on. What verse is that? Iron sharpens iron. Somebody, is that Proverbs 27, 17? Okay, there we go. Look at that. Proverbs 27, 17. Look what it says. Proverbs 27, 17 says, As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friends. So you start getting in the Word of God and all of a sudden you start finding yourself, you know, wanting to speak to somebody that's like-minded. You'll start finding yourself searching out for folks that are speaking in the Word. Because why? All of a sudden those nonsense conversations, you know, the outcome of the sporting game, or who's saying what, or you know, and those are fine things. Those are fine things. But once you start getting in the Word, all of a sudden, oh my, my, my, you find yourself just like, boom. You want to speak to somebody that's on the same page, read the same things, and you start glorifying God. Because, now wait a minute. Give me that other scripture where it says two or more gathered. The Lord is there. Where's that scripture at? Somebody get me there. Two or more gathered. Where's that at in the New Testament? Where two or more gathered. Why? Because you start speaking the same thing, iron sharpens iron, and all of a sudden you find yourself, boom. But where does it say two or more gathered? The Lord is there. Somebody take me there. Two or more. I don't want y'all to think I'm making this up. People are giving me the scripture. Where two or more gathered. Where is that at? Somebody find it. Is that Matthew 1820? Thank you, Jesus. Matthew 1820. See, I'm not making this up. People are telling me the scripture. I'm just telling you what's there. Look at Matthew 1820. What does it say in Matthew 18? For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I'm there in the midst of them. Think about it. So, when you're with somebody, because you're studying your word, you heard the preacher at church, right? You come home, grab the spouse. You guys are like, let's look that up. Let's look that word up. Let's hear what he was saying. Let's hear what was going on. And all of a sudden, you read this for where two or three are gathered. Uh-oh. Where two or three are gathered. What does it say? It says what? It says, in my name, I'm there in the midst of them. Boom. It's simple. It's beautiful. But when you start, when you're deep in your word and you're studying, and you try to hang out with some old friends that ain't about the word. Have you guys got any friends like that? Yeah. You're studying the word. You're in church, but they don't do that. Anybody have that problem? Anybody have that? Anybody? He is here. Amen. Yeah. Yeah. Watch this. Look at Mercy Me, the first one. Yes. Somebody take me out of scripture. I think it's in the Old Testament where it says, how do two walk together? How do two walk and they don't agree? Where is that? Somebody take me there. I'm not sure. Get me there. Where is that? If two walk, if two don't walk together, where is that? Man, I might. Where is that? Somebody with two don't, if two cannot agree, how do they walk together? Where is that? Paul, I do not have a backup account. Don't let no one lie to you. I do not have a backup account. Okay. I do have an I Choose Love account. I forgot all about that, but I do not have a backup account. So let no one fool you guys trying to get money from you or making sure. No, no, no. Because somebody is trying to be slick. Okay. But where's that scripture where it says, and we're going to talk about that a little bit more. Thank you for asking that. Where's that scripture? You got some folks that don't want to read. Where's that scripture? How did two agree if they don't walk together? Where is it? There you go. Somebody said, aim is three, three. Let's, let's lose aim is three, three. You got some folks that you're studying, but they're not. There's some folks you love. Watch. Watch this. Watch this. Watch this. It says, can two walk together unless they are agreed? Come on. Come on. How do two walk together if we don't agree? So I'm reading my word. I'm studying my word. I'm in my word. And you're not. How do we even walk together? But when you start getting in that word, folks, all of a sudden you don't have time for those little conversations. And don't, folks, I'm not saying walk around like you're so, you know, uppity-uppity or self-righteous. But what I'm saying is you are so just eager to meditate on God's word. You're so eager to get excited about God's word. You find yourself engulfed in it. And you want to be around other people that are like-minded, that cultivate that hunger, that cultivate that desire to study God's word. When we start doing that, then all of a sudden, boom. Take that scripture. Where's that scripture where it says the knowledge of God is, is, is of, of, of, what is it? Is the beginning of fear. The knowledge of God. Where is that scripture? Somebody get me there. Where's that scripture? The knowledge of God is the beginning of fear. Or the fear of the Lord. You know what I'm saying. Where's that one? Where's that one? Help me out. I started taking my Bible. Ooh, we, you know what? I used to work at a hospital called St. Agnes Hospital. Sister Rosemary knows what I'm talking about. And I used to take my Bible. And man, I tell you what, I used to, ooh, let's go to Proverbs 1 7. I'd sit in the closet studying that word. Oh my gosh. Look at Proverbs 1 7. Somebody already got it for us. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. But watch this. But a fool despise wisdom and instruction. Y'all ever thought about that? Some fools despise wisdom and instruction. You ever met anybody that can't be told nothing? You ever met anybody that cannot be told a thing? They just don't want to be told anything? Look what it says. The fear of the Lord. And matter of fact, if you just go even Proverbs 1 1, the Proverbs of Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel, to know wisdom and instructions, to perceive words of understanding, to receive the instructions of wisdom, justice, judgment, and equality, to give prudence to the simple, to the young man and knowledge and discretion. And then if you look all of Proverbs, I love when it goes right there. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instructions. Don't you love that? This is why we read the Word. And we just gleaned a few scriptures, a few scriptures with regards to things that we need to know. Somebody, let me just read that. Somebody just going to throw me a good random scripture out there. Let me see what they said. It says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Look at this, y'all. See y'all? Y'all just pulling some beautiful scriptures out to support that scripture. Line up on line, precept on precept, a little here, a little there. Come on. This is beautiful. This is what it's all about, man. This is what it's all about. Look, somebody throw something out there. Let me read what this is. Let me read what this is. Hang on. Let me read it. Let me, let me, let me, let me look here. Let me look. Oh, we, we, well, y'all, but this is what I'm talking about. If you would just get in your scriptures, if you study your Word, the Bible will take you somewhere. Turn off the TV, turn off TikTok, turn off the radio, quit wasting your time and really get in your Word, be disciples, be disciplined students. You won't know everything. You won't. The Bible is so deep, you'll never find the bottom, but it's so safe that you'll never drown. Get in your Word, be under the Word, and don't learn it so that you can impress upon others how much you know. This is, thank you, brothers and I, this is about self-edification. This is about knowing what you read is the Word of God. And if it, if it is true for them, it is true for you. That's what this is all about. This is what it's all about. And if you take the time, and that's another thing, y'all, carve out some time in the course of the day. Somebody said, I take my Bible to work. I take my Bible to work. Watch this. Somebody take us there. Study to show thou self-approved. Somebody get me there. What script, where's that scripture at? Study to show thou self-approved. Where's that at? Somebody take me there. Study to show thou self-approved. Somebody get me there, please. Where is that scripture at? Study to show thou self-approved. Rightly divided. Come on. Where's that at? Somebody help me out here. Come on. Oh, I'm so sorry. We'll get to that. Okay. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Somebody got us there. Is that 2 Timothy 2.15? What's it say? Be diligent to present yourselves approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Study to show thou self-approved so that you can rightly divide the word of truth. All right. Somebody wants me to speak to the Catholic faith. Here we go. Number one. I don't know enough about the Catholic faith to debate or argue with anybody. All right. I don't have the knowledge to debate anyone. But I have a lot of questions. Now, though, I'm finding out as I'm meeting some Catholic folks. I had a young man who came to our church, a wonderful young man named Andrew and his brother. And Andrew is a die-hard Catholic. But he made me quite clear. He made it quite clear to me that he does not worship the Virgin Mary. Catholics who believe in Christ are... Mercy me. My boy Andrew, he made it quite clear. I do not worship the Virgin Mary. I see the cross and I understand the imagery. I'm quite clear. Because you know some of us get caught up on Jesus on the cross. But he made it quite clear. I don't worship the Virgin Mary. So here we go. And that's my point. Some Catholics do. Okay. But I don't know enough about the Catholic faith. Now, I have some questions. I don't understand purgatory. I would like to get a clear understanding. Matter of fact, check this out. Watch this. Andrew's probably on here. He watches me periodically. But there's a priest that Andrew knows. And you've all seen the priest here in Arizona. He dances a lot. He's a handsome young man. Got some black hair, dark hair. And he's on TikTok and he dances around. I would love to sit down over a cup of coffee and ask him, I don't understand. Do you all pray to Mary? I don't understand about purgatory. I don't understand penance. There's a lot of things I don't understand. I don't understand my point. Why would you pray to Mary? I don't understand why do you call someone father? Why do you have to go into a booth, a confessional booth, when I can go before God? And why do some Catholics have that statue in their yard? And it's like almost a, you know, sort of a shrine to some degree. There's a lot of things I don't understand. But I'm telling you this. I have met some Catholic brothers and sisters. The end part should alert you right there. Brothers and sisters that believe the same thing I do. The fundamental aspect of salvation, we are on the same page. I would never, ever go to my Catholic brothers and sisters and say, you're going to hell. But I do believe I have a lot of questions. And I think his name is, they call him Father Frankie, but I'm not going to call him Father Frankie. But Preacher Frankie, who is a Catholic priest here in Arizona, he's on TikTok. I would love to meet him and really pick his mind. Not to be critical, but to really get an understanding of where they're coming from. So I hope that answered to some degree. What is that young and immature arrogant? Do you think I'm young? No, I'm trying to be funny. I'm trying to be funny. I'm sorry. So that, and there we go. Who is this? TPH. I mean, I would definitely, if there's a Catholic on here, we can right now duet this and have a conversation because I'm not, there's some things I'm not clear about. You know, my father grew up. My father grew up Catholic. He did. My father grew up Catholic, went to Catholic school, went to Catholic high school, went to Catholic college. And then finally he decided he wants the full counsel of the word and boom, he got into the word of God. So there you go. But if one's Catholic and you want to sit and talk, let's talk. I don't mind. I'd love to, I would love to talk about it. My father also grew up Catholic. Yeah. My mom grew up Catholic and now is a Baptist. Well, you know, I'm partial Baptist. And see, do you guys want my sense of humor? I think you all should be Baptist. That's just my opinion. I think every one of you should be Baptist. I think all of you should just come over to our church and become a Baptist. And then, you know, that's just my opinion. And, and, and, but here's the thing. I don't think we're going to find a Baptist place, uh, sectioning and in turn, and in turn eternity, we're not going to find the Baptist area in eternity. We like to, as Baptists, we like to think so there's a special reserve box for us. We'd like to think that, but I trust me, I don't think that's going to happen. Uh, uh, amen. But if any of them, uh, now he's a racist. Uh, my dad, uh, grew up, grew up, grew up Catholic and now he's a racist. I'm sorry about that. Do you, do you believe, uh, do you believe in? That's a little too, I don't even know what that is, man. I, I, you have to break that down. I'm even afraid to get a nun to eat that. Amen. I'm a Baptist Bible believing Baptist. Amen. Amen. All of you need to just become Baptist. Let's just call it a wrap. Just become Baptist and we won't have any issues. So praise God. So you might, the articles of the faith right there as, as I was reading those, uh, my Baptist brothers and sisters, trust me, there's 18 of them. The true God. Number three, the fallen, the fall of man. Number four, the wit of salvation. Number five, justification. Number six, uh, uh, the freeness of salvation. Number seven, regeneration, repentance of faith, God's purpose of grace, sanctification. This is the articles of faith, uh, uh, perseverance of the saints, the law of the gospel, the gospel church, baptism in the Lord's supper, the Christian Sabbath, the list goes on, but those are the things that we believe in. So I hope that answers anybody regarding the Catholic faith. I'm not here to beat those brothers and sisters up. I just don't know enough, but the things I do have questions about once again, uh, uh, uh, uh, there you go. This individual said right here, Ephesians 2, 8, 9, you know, salvation is by faith, not of words. It's by faith. We should go to the book of revelations, uh, of revelations about, we should go to the book of revelations. Eventually I will, eventually I will. Um, since I believe we are in the time in times, I think that is super important. So eventually we will praise God, but folks, there you go. That's, that's, I hope we covered some good stuff today, but real quick, uh, Ms. Rose, Ms. Rosemary, are you still out there? Ms. Rosemary, are you still out there? How about a non-denominational or Pentecostal? Um, once again, if, if, if, if like, well, let me read. Okay. Somebody took us there. Let me, let me just say something. This is, this is, this is where I'm at this. I know, I know my, my teacher, my mentor in, in Fresno, California, Pastor Knox, he would, would, he would just knock the Pentecostals, the apostolics. He would, you know, and because of the whole, the, the gifts of tongues and so on, et cetera. Let me, let me show you some, and don't get me wrong. I do got some hangups with some groups, the apostolic Jesus only group. I'm sorry. How are you going to baptize in the name of Jesus only? And I know some of my brothers and sisters, I get mad at y'all, but look what it says. 2, 8, 9, uh, Ephesians chapter two, uh, verses 8, 8, 9, for by grace, you have been saved through faith. That is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of worthless. Anyone should boast. So somebody asked me about, you know, the Pentecostal. I think what was the other one? If they got that, we're good. If we got that now though, hang on, hang on, watch this. Somebody take that verse building on the foundation, gold, silver, and precious stone. Somebody take me, where's that verse at? Somebody get me there building on the foundation, gold, silver, and precious stone. Take me there. Somebody give me that verse. I know it's in the New Testament. I think it's on Corinthians. Take me there. Somebody, Oh, Oh, is that it? First Corinthians? Give me a little better though. Give me right to it. So we know where we're at. First Corinthians. Is it three? What? 10? Oh, I'm here pastor. It's me. Sister Rosemary. All right. Hang on. I'm gonna get back to you. Is it three 12? Okay. Amen. Come on. Come on y'all. Y'all gotta read this. Y'all gotta read this. You gotta read this. You gotta read this. Watch this. First Corinthians, I think it's chapter three. Mercy me God it for us. Watch this. We'll start with verse nine. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field. You are God's building. According to the grace of God, which was given to me as, wait a minute, wait a minute. Yep. As a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation and another builds on it, but let each one take heed how he builds on it. If you have the foundation of Jesus Christ, take heed how you build on that though. Okay. If you've got that foundation, so you might be a Catholic, you might be an apostolic, I mean, uh, an assemblies of God, you've got a foundation, but now you're going to build on it. Take heed how you build on it. Verse 11. For no other foundation can anyone lay other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. If your foundation is Jesus Christ, we're good. But it's how you build on that foundation. Now watch this. Verse 12. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, and precious stones, stop right there. Gold, silver, and precious stones all, uh, indicate divine, the Trinity, the Godhead, how you build on this. All right. Gold, silver, and precious stone, right? You're building by the precepts of the word, the understanding of the word. Now hear me out before y'all dismiss all this, but watch this. Now, if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, and precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, notice what they choose wood, hay, and straw. Watch this. Verse 13. Each one's work will become clear for the day will declare it because it will be revealed by fire. Now there's a question. If I were to take fire and if I were to take gold, silver, and precious stone and put it in the heat of that fire, what would it do with the gold, silver, and precious stone? It would refine it. It would purify it and it would not be consumed. But if I built on that foundation of Jesus Christ, what was straw, stubble, and hay, and I put that in the fire, it will be consumed. Do you get my drift here? So folks that are, are, are, are, are, are, have the foundation of Jesus Christ, but they built on their foundation with some things that I think, I don't know about that. Right? They've got the, they got the foundation, right? But they built a little, guess what? Watch this. Each one's work will become clear for the day will declare it because it will be revealed by fire. And the fire will test each one's work of what sort it was. But watch the next part is very important. Hear this. If anyone's work, which he has built on it endures, he will receive the reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved. Yet so as through fire. Did you guys get that? Did you guys get that? Let me read that part again. If anyone's work now, remember the foundation is Jesus. They built on that work, gold, silver, precious stone, divine teaching, the word of God, the precepts of God, they were, they were building on that. They were on there now. Cause why? We got some people out here that are, are, are teaching. Well, I think you can lose your salvation. I don't think that's gold, silver, and precious stone. I think that's straw stubble and hay. There's some people out here teaching that you gotta be, you gotta be baptized to be saved. I think that's straw stubble and hay. That now that's how I see the scripture. Okay. However, if anyone's work, which has been built on, if anyone's work, which he has built on, it endures, he will receive the reward. All right? Verse 15, if anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so through fire. Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells within you? So I am very careful with regards to judging or critiquing other faiths and other religions, especially when it comes to the Catholic faith, the assemblies of God. Now I will, I, I'm going to be very, very, very, very, very, very sincere with you. I think the Jehovah Witnesses, the Mormons, and the crazy thing about Mormons, they're beautiful people, beautiful people, beautiful people, but they get, they're, they're culturally caught up in a wave, and this wave just takes them for a ride. I don't agree with that, but as for a Methodist, and don't get me wrong, there's a Methodist doing some things. I'm like, are you serious? Assemblies of God, non-denominational. I know some people say non-denominational. If non-denominational is teaching the word of God, then I'm, you know, it's funny. How many of you ever heard of Calvary Chapel? How many ever heard of Calvary Chapel? This is just an observation. Anybody? Calvary Chapel. Anybody ever heard of Calvary Chapel? Chuck Smith movie coming out? Yes, yes, yes. Calvary Chapel calls themselves non-denominational. They are a denomination. They're Calvary Chapel, and they are a denomination, but they crack me up. I love them. Don't get me wrong. I love Calvary Chapel. So yeah, they call themselves non-denominational. They are. They're a denomination. It's Calvary Chapel's denomination, but there you go, y'all. I hope you had a good time this morning. I hope you had a good time. Let me repeat this, and I'm going to talk to our sister, Ms. Rosemary. I do not have an alternative account. There's somebody out there, and somebody's been letting me know, there's somebody out there that has a very similar, even their email is very similar. Remember, I think my email is what, hang on, let me see something here. I got my other phone here. We can look it up. Let me look it up. Okay, my email is pastorpaul4prayer at gmail.com. That's my email, pastorpaul4prayer at gmail.com. Now, you can see that right on my thing there. Okay, you can see it. Of course, my call letters on there is pastorpaul4jesus. All right, the other person has something, pastorpaul4backuppage, and so it's a little clever, and then they got the email, but someone's been telling me that this individual has reached out to them to follow them, and this individual has been requesting that you download a cash app or this or that, and no, no, no, no, no, no. That is not me. I do have another page I forgot about my wife pointed out, and it's I Choose Love, but that one has got a thousand people on it. I don't do anything on it. I was using it for a company at one time, and I forgot all about it, but I don't use it. I just looked at it for the first time, but other than that, I will not. I'll follow people like, okay, let's give you an example. Let's give you an example here. I will see somebody on here, and they'll say something incredibly cool, and I'll follow them, and I usually do it in lives. Periodically, somebody will message me, and I will follow them on here. I will do that, but I won't send a request, a random request if you're already following me, or if I do need to create a backup page, I'll come on here and say, hey, guys, I'm going to create a backup page. Here it is, blah, blah, blah, blah, and I'll let you guys know, but trust me, I don't have a backup page. Do not fall into that trap. Now, there was a Holly. Holly, I don't know if you're out there. I can't remember your name. Your last name was very unique, but I know your first name was Holly. You sent $20 to our cash app. God bless you. Thank you so much. Of course, I'll be used in the ministry, but there you go. Now, I don't know what made Holly send that. I don't know if this individual prompted. Holly did her homework and decided to send it. I'm not sure. However, I did not have a backup page. All right. What time do we got? We got time for this. Rosemary. Rosemary, hopefully, you got 1,000 people. Can we tag team together? Are you able or are you at work? What are you talking about? Please elaborate or stop spamming, please. You can just read that from MercyMe the way she said it, right? Right? She just nailed it. Yes, I'm here. Okay. God has me forever. Okay. Here we go. Do you got 1,000? Please have 1,000, friends. God has me forever. Rosemary, do you have 1,000? I'd love to see if we can collaborate together. Can we do that? Can that happen? Can we do that? Let's see. I'm going to send you something. Can we collaborate? TPH, what's going on? I'm sorry. She doesn't have 1,000. Okay. Rosemary is the young lady I talked about the other day whose son is being used in a credible way to encourage people that are incarcerated. He, too, had some circumstances that happened in his life. She's the young lady. Why do you need 1,000 friends? I don't know. That's the rules with TikTok. Not me. If you had one friend, I could talk to you. It goes up to me. However, she's the individual that son got into a bit of trouble. He's in jail right now, but God is using him. Also, Joseph's mother, yeah, Joseph's mom, Rosemary. Rosemary, give us a hi. I want everybody to see you. Everybody just follow her. Rosemary. And wait, she'll come by in just a second. Her title, I think, is God has me or God has for me. Hang on. It's going to come up in just a second. There we go. Hello. God has me forever. That's her. Follow her. God has me forever. And so she was talking about her son getting a bit discouraged, but I said, you know what? God is going to use Joseph in a powerful way because now Rosemary over there in the Central Valley is opening up her door to help individuals that her son has ministered to and how powerful that is. And I know Rosemary's going through a bit of hurt because she misses her baby. She misses her son. But let's keep her from prayer, but also let's keep Joseph in prayer. Now, things happen. Let's not judge. Things do happen. And so I think about me as a young man, how many times that my, she went from 168 to 190. Amen. Man, let's do it. She went from, she, I think about myself as a young man, how many times I could have made the wrong direction. And by the grace of God, God took me in another direction. So we don't want to judge, but we know, where's that verse at? Where's that verse, all things work together? Where's that verse at? Anybody take me there where it talks about all things working together. Where's that at? Somebody take me there. Help me out. You know, all things working together. Where's that at? Anybody? All things working together for those. Okay, there you go. Come on. No, no, I don't have a great memory like that. I need some help. So then those who are, oh, Romans 8.28. I'm going Romans 8.8. See? I need all the help I can get. And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. So we know for a fact that Joseph is in a situation that was meant for evil, but God is turning it into good. Let's go look at that verse. Where's that verse where God says, what you meant for evil, God meant for good? Where's that at? Anybody give me that. I think it was Joseph that said, what you meant for evil, God meant for good. Where's that one at? Because we want to make sure. Where's that? When Joseph said, Steve Harvey, I got to be Steve Harvey's dad? Bro, I'm only 59. He should be my dad. I just look older. Genesis 50.20. All right, let's look at Genesis 50.20. Look at Genesis 50.20. What did he say? He said right here, But as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. The point is, Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery. He finds himself in a position where he is number two in charge of Egypt. And his family comes to him seeking food, because why? There is a drought. Now though, back to Joseph in the prison. And did you see that connection? And Ray pointed that out not too long ago. Watch this. Here we go. Joseph right now, what Satan meant for evil, God is doing good, using Joseph right now, Rosemary. And that's what we talked about the other day. So I want you to stand on that. We all agree with you in prayer. We're going to be lifting you up in prayer. And know this, that your brothers and sisters in Christ are right here with you. So with all that being said, okay, somebody's going to throw that. Take me where that scripture at. No weapon. Take me where that scripture's at. No weapon formed against me. Please, where's that at? Help me out, somebody. No weapon formed. Somebody's going to throw a scripture on me. We've got to read that. Come on, where's that at? Give me the address of that. Where's that? No weapon formed. Come on. Somebody, where's that at? Give me the address. Come on. Get me there. Get me there. Help me out. No weapon formed shall prosper against me. Where's that at? Anybody? No one's going to get me on that one? Y'all just going to leave me hanging? Joshua? Y'all just let me sit down here, man? Oh my gosh. No, it's not Isaiah 6417. It might be in the Old Testament, but you know where I'm going. Somebody did it. Somebody helped Pastor Paul out. Just don't let him just sit in here. No weapon shall form. Come on. No one? Really? Oh, man. Is it? Okay. Well, let's, okay. Hang on. Okay. Oh, I'm sorry. I am sorry. I, ooh wee. Ooh wee. Ooh wee. I stand corrected. No weapon formed against you shall prosper in every tongue which rises against you in judgment. Ooh. Thank you. I don't know what I was thinking, but my gosh. My gosh. Thank you so much. So, Ms. Rosemary, you got some brothers and sisters in your corner. Uh, uh, uh, amen. I, I'm, I sure, I don't know why. I don't know why, uh, mercy me. That's okay. That's okay. See, this is why, uh, uh, uh, us brothers and sisters help each other. That's why we help each other. So no problem. Praise God. Uh, it's on my hoodie. Laugh out loud. So, uh, Joshua was like, I can't see it's backwards. All right. All right, everybody. We got, we got seven 58. Let me answer a couple of questions. If I can answer them, praise God. If I can't, I will double back with you or maybe one of the crew here can answer it, but praise God. I hope we had a good morning this morning. So thank you everyone. Where two, three are gathered. You are there. Amen. Uh, uh, back to the first day. I look like Steve Harvey's dad. Hey, did you guys, Oh, did you guys see my video yesterday? I'm driving through a neighborhood, right? So I'm doing a little Uber eats and I'm driving through a neighbor. I don't even know this neighborhood and I'm driving through and, uh, um, uh, all of a sudden there's these little kids, cause you know, it was a holiday and these little kids are out playing basketball. And I really admired, I love seeing kids out playing ball instead of being on their phones. And, and I know those four kids and a young Christian in a really world centered high school. Oh yes. Hang on. Hang on. Yes. I'm going to follow you. Honey milk. I'm following you too. And I'm going to talk to you about that. Here we go. I'm following you. Boom. Why won't it let me follow your request to follow this? Okay. I just requested the private, but let me finish this door and we'll get to you. Um, so I saw these kids out there and when I drove by all of a sudden, somebody says, Oh, now some people didn't know what uncle drew was. Okay. Uncle drew is this old looking cat that looks similar to me with the white beard and you know, the hair and he goes on the court and he can hoop. He can play basketball. He can just, he can thrash. And so, you know, the kids, you know, I don't know. These kids were probably 12, 11, 12, I guess. And when he said, uncle drew, I thought it was hilarious. So I went to go deliver my, um, my food to the house and I said, I'm a double back and man, I went out there, but you know what? Check it out. After I got done filming, these guys were completely so lovable and so cool. Now watch this. Let me tell you what, what was important. Um, some folks could have took offense to that, but I didn't, you know what I'm trying to do? I'm trying to bridge that communication factor with people that don't look like me that are younger than me or older than me. I'm trying to bridge that communication for, I guarantee it. One of those kids are two of them. The one that called me uncle drew and his brother got on my post. Now there were five or six kids out there. Do you know five or six of those kids are going to start looking at the post and they're going to start seeing what God is saying. Uh, they're going to start by that guy was cool. This one cat showed up, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And so that was the motive guys. I wasn't offended. I don't care. Trust me. Historically, I've been called some pretty bad things. If some little kid wants to say, uncle drew and you know, uncle drew can hoop. I can't, but he can. That's cool. But look for an opportunity. Yes, there you go. Mercy me. Look for an opportunity to plant a seed and each of those kids, no matter what, they're going to remember that day. And trust me, I bet you, I guarantee you every day they play basketball. Hey, can you remember that time when you called that dude, uncle drew and bought all the time that's going to happen, but they're going to connect it with the love that was shown between me and them. All right. To the person. What advice do I have for a young person in a very worldly high school or worldly world here? Here's my great hang on. What is that? Oh, here's my greatest advice. Number one, be around light minded believers. There are people in your school that are on the same page as you. All right. Be like, be with them, be around them. Make sure. All right. Number two, be in your word. Be in your words, study your words, especially as a young person. You as a young person, you know, I'm going to be 60 in March and I can't imagine. I graduated high school in 1982. The 80s was tears for fears and Howard Jones and I can name the list. We were in like, we were completely ignorant to the fact of the world. Why? Because we were into our music. We were into what young people do and not that it was any better, but you guys have so much thrusted at you so fast when it comes to information that is overwhelming. And I could not, I'm not 89 here, but I could not imagine being a young person. So what you have to do is to keep your focus in the word continuously. I don't care what they say. I don't care what their implications are. You must stay in the word continuously. And last but not least, pray, pray. The future of my community, the future of each one of us is you being in your prayer because it is you God is going to use to minister to my grandchildren. God is going to use you in a powerful way to minister to my children. So if you could just take those three things, be around like-minded people, y'all start banding together, coming together. Make time at the course of your day with other believers at school to break in and do some pray. Take the course of your day, you know, maybe jet over to the cafeteria, wherever it is you kids hang out at these days and bring your Bibles and have a Bible study. And I will tell you this, there's a lot of Christian TikTok creators. You guys start following them. You guys start collectively coming together, speaking with each other, maybe the following day what you heard from this person. Matter of fact, in some cases you might have heard something that's not biblical. Why don't you guys explore that in the word and break that down. That's my recommendation for you as a young person. Now back to what I was saying. Yeah, tears for fears. Folks, get a little worldly here. That was my group. Yeah, I love music. I don't care. It could have been from parliament to tears to fears to, I can name a ton of groups, but tears for fears. When I hear shout, shout, I know I can't sing, let it all out, man, I will just jam with it. I will just jam with it. There's no ifs, ands, or buts. And so, yep, tears for fears. Man, The Fix, that was my group. That was my group. Thompson Twins, don't leave those cats out. They were good. You know, Pink Floyd, now check it out. Pink Floyd, very interesting. I shouldn't be talking about this stuff. Yo, please, this is the last person I'm going to talk about. But SOS Band, come on now. How about the Jazz Band? But Pink Floyd was very interesting. The Wall, I had the album. That came out when I was probably a freshman in high school. I want to say 78, 79. I just got in high school. But we don't need no education. Yeah, that was pretty interesting. Pretty interesting. And then, but you know what's crazy? Check this out. Check this out. I will hear music now that I used to listen to. And I just think like, a very good morning to you, Pastor Paul. And praise God, have a great day. You know, some people are like, no, Pastor Paul, you're talking about the Bible. No, I ain't got no more time. This is a waste of time. Amen. I listen to, I will now be going through the state. I don't listen to secular music anymore. If it's on, like, you know, I'll go through the station. If there's a song, I'll stop at it. But I don't just sit there and listen to it. However, I will listen to music that we listened to as kids. And I'm like, what? Is that what that said? Because I'm not even gonna tell you. I wasn't a metal guy. But listen to some Rush. And I'm like, really? Is that what they were saying? Lord, forgive me. Forgive me. But we're not here to talk about music and all that stuff. Amen. So there you go. There you go. Let me ask a couple. I meant to answer questions. Okay. I don't either. But sometimes the oldies bring back happy memories, right? They do. They do. Me and Miss Debbie will put on something. We'll get a little. So there you go. Yes, sir. I got shook. I'm with you, Pastor Paul. I was Motley Crue. Come on, Motley Crue. Come on, man. Come on. Can I have a church address? Yes, you can have the church address. 1330. 1330 Southern. 1330 East Southern. Phoenix, Arizona. Zip code 85040. 85040. So 1330 East Southern. Phoenix, Arizona. 85040. Is it bad to listen to this? You know what? You got to leave that to yourselves. Cross streets. 16th Street and Southern. 16th Street and Southern. So that's the closest. We're like 13th place, but 16th Street and Southern. 1330 East Southern. Phoenix, Arizona. 85040. Church starts 11 on Sunday. So is it bad? You know, I don't think it's bad listening to Christian music, but I think you better be careful what you're listening to and be careful what you're consuming. You know, I think music like food. You know, there's a lot of great music out there, but a lot of it's not good for you. You know, I love potato chips, but they're not good for you. And you know, and while we do have the freedom to listen to that, we got to be very careful once again what we let go in. How about in Fresno? What about Fresno? What about Fresno? We used to live in Fresno. The church in Fresno, hang on. First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Knox. If you go there, you tell him I love him and give him a big hug. And I don't know the address. You have to look it up. First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Okay. Dr. Knox, Pastor Knox. That is my mentor, my father in the faith. He raised me up to understand, but that's in Fresno. Look that up. First Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Look that up and go there. His Bible studies on Tuesday night. Matter of fact, oh, I don't have them here. His Bible studies on Tuesday night, I think at seven will blow you away. You know what? I'm going to have to follow them to make sure. Maria Diaz, Maria, Ms. Maria Diaz, go check it out. Dr. Knox is a powerful, he's all of his height. He's probably about five, six, but when he preaches, he might as well be eight feet tall. Powerful. Me and the wife learned so much under his ministry. And now I don't, I don't 100% agree agree on everything, but when it comes to the foundational teaching of salvation by grace, there's no other, no other, but my friend, Joe, my friend, Joe, how are you doing, sir? It's good to see you on here this morning. Amen. Amen. So, all right, let's answer some other questions here. 1330 East Southern. Yep. Nowadays, you must be careful with all music, sadly, some gospel. Amen. Somebody said it, you got to discern what you're listening to, you know, but you know what? The older I get, I'm reverting back to old. Now, here we go. Older gospel music. And I'm, I'm, and I'm enjoying older country music. My inner cowboys coming out. So I couldn't name a ton of groups off in the country vibe. God just saved my life in a semi accident this morning. Praise God damage to my car, but okay, my, my, my, did you hear that? Was in an accident with a semi, but God spared this brother. See folks, grace, grace, unmerited savor, grace, grace, grace, grace. And this is what I talk about y'all. Grace. Our sister right there. Right there. I know I'm going to mess it up. I know I'm going to mess it up. Please free me a kick him on just follow. See, that's what I do. I'll see somebody on here. And she said, yes, same here reminds me of my dad. So I just followed her. That's what I do. I won't send a request randomly. I will see somebody on there and she's common. And you know, she's a Baptist. So, you know, Baptist have to follow Baptist. It's a rule. I saw it on Tik TOK. When you signed up for Tik TOK, it said, Baptist have to follow Baptist. I can hear my father, boy, you lying. So there you go. But amen, Joe, I'm glad you're okay. By the grace of God, unmerited favor, unmerited favor. And some of you keep hearing me say the Baptist thing. Don't take me out of content. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. We don't think we're better. We just think we got it more better together. No kidding. All right. Let's see. Yeah, he is great. Do you have any big plans for the summer? Josh, are you asking me? Yeah, we're going to come hang and stay with you guys for about three months. We're going to go do that. We're going to come to your neck of the woods and stay with you three months. Boom. Only the Southern Baptist said, why wasn't I notified of this live? I don't know. I don't know. Maybe Tik TOK doesn't like me. I don't know why it doesn't notify people. But I try to be here every morning at 630. And then we're going to go cruise over to me and the whole family are going to cruise over there to Pennsylvania. We've got a bunch of people there we're going to be staying at. And then we're going to squeak over there to Brian's place. I'm kidding. We're not going to do that. Any plans for the summer? You know what, folks, I've asked you to pray for me. I was consulting for a company and they said they don't need my services anymore. So I've started my own consulting company for one to one training. And I'm out, you know, I do Uber in the evening. And, you know, I'm looking for a gig. I'm looking for something that that will just, you know, pay the food bill. And so y'all pray for me. So this summer it will be working. And so today I'm excited. I'm going to go apply for Ace Hardware. I've always wanted to work at a hardware store. So there's an Ace Hardware not too far from me. And I'm going to go apply there. So if anybody knows anybody at Ace Hardware, anybody had an onto, you know, if you go ahead and put a, it is quite apparent God has a plan for my life beyond today. I am seeking even more. Praise God that it is apparent. So anybody knows the one in Ocotillo, I should go there, but they built another one. Lam knows a one on Higley, not too far from the house near Bosa Donuts. So here we are, Lam, you and I are talking like these people all know what we're talking about. So, but there you go. What's your, what's your cash app, Pastor Paul? I don't, I don't know. Does anybody, Josh, do you guys know my cash app? I don't know. What is the cash app? Oh, wait a minute. Here it goes. Hang on. I know. Silly me. It is the cash app is S-A-M-B-C church. Is that, that's how you do it? So here, can you see it? I know it's backwards. Oh, I was gonna say the name of the person that gave yesterday. Let me, hang on, hang on. Well, it's that, that's it right there. I don't know if you can see that. It's in my, it's in your bio. There we go. It's in my bio. So if you go right there, S-A-M-B-C church and all that stuff. So it's in my bio. There you go. Thank you. Thank you so much. Uh, the name after the dollar sign, the name after the dollar sign. Oh, so like right there, that name. So S-A-M-B-C church. So the two C's. Okay. But wait a minute. What if we, Oh, even better. Look at that. Okay. When will you get your YouTube channel going? You know, a lot of people are on me about that and we're in the process. So I've got a young man named Ricky. We've, we we've started some camera guys at church. So we're developing it little by little. It'll come soon. It will come soon. So be patient with me. Um, I, uh, uh, you know, and I know Pastor Paul, we've been listening to you for four years here and we ain't seen one in YouTube. It'll happen, but I know I will, I will, I will.
