Why?

I'm a transgender artist. I came out to my parents when I was 13, it did not go well I was abused by my family from that point until they disowned me 7 years later. This goes into that experience some, because before I came out I thought I had a loving family, I never expected it to go off the rails, much less as far off the rails as it did. It is the ultimate irony that I loved them fully and completely and they chose to hate me instead.
