P. T. Barnum

Phineas Taylor Barnum, born in July of 1810 and passing away in April of 1891, was an American businessman and showman. He is best known for his involvement in promoting famous hoaxes and for establishing the circus that eventually became the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
