The opening day of the Women's Olympics continued. After receiving the torch from Olympic athlete Carlos Coloma, the children from the Infantil class carried the torch around the school, spreading the spirit of sports. They then made their way through the street that connects the two buildings of Daunas, accompanied by all the classes from the Infantil level. Over 100 children between the ages of 3 and 5 accompanied the Olympic flame. In the Primary building, all the classes went out to the patio carrying their respective flags, as they represented different countries during the cultural days. With the Olympic anthem playing, the Infantil students arrived at the older students' school. Applause and cheers welcomed them, and they began to take turns carrying the torch around the patio. Finally, the torch was passed to Gloria Alonso, a physical education teacher, who lit the cauldron, marking the start of the school's sports days. La jornada inaugural de las Olimpiadas de las Daunas continuaba. Después de recibir la antorcha del deportista olÃmpico y ganador de una medalla de bronce Carlos Coloma, los alumnos y alumnas de Infantil recorrieron el patio portando la antorcha y dejando que el espÃritu deportivo inundase todo el cole. Más tarde comenzó el recorrido por la calle Club Deportivo que une los dos edificios de las Daunas. La antorcha fue escoltada por todas las clases de educación infantil. Más de 100 niños y niñas de entre 3 y 5 años acompañaron la llama olÃmpica. Mientras en el edificio de Primaria todas las clases salieron al patio llevando sus correspondientes banderas. Porque durante las jornadas culturales los niños y niñas de las Daunas representaron a diferentes paÃses del mundo. Con el himno olÃmpico de fondo los alumnos de Infantil llegaron al cole de los mayores. Los aplausos y vÃtores acompañaron su llegada y se iniciaron las vueltas alrededor del patio de todos los cursos portando la antorcha. Finalmente la antorcha llegó a Gloria Alonso, una de las profesoras de educación fÃsica, que encendió el pebetero dando comienzo a las jornadas partiportivas del colegio de las Daunas.
