This is how I practice. flip on the ipod play what comes on. sometimes it's good. sometimes it's not. some songs i know, some i never heard. i make it up as i go along. it works out or it doesn't. i try things as i play and improvise. a lot. i have fun. i am content. not always satisfied. i work it out. was a drummer in a band in the 60's. stopped playing for around 40 years. just worked and raised my kids. been in the basement about 4-6 years. want to play live at some point. hope it happens.
