Please do not worry about doing it "right" it is simply a tool to get used to my voice and to prepare you for your first session. Think of it as a relaxing guided meditation.

Thank you for listening to Leading Light with Naomi Hypnotherapy. This session is best done sitting or lying down. So please make yourself comfortable and when you are ready, please allow your eyes to close. Now take a deep breath in. Hold it for a moment and exhale. Take another deep breath in. Hold for a moment and on the exhale, just letting go of any external tension. That's good. Now take your focus to your eyelids and allow the muscles in your eyelids to go completely loose, limp and relaxed. And when you know that your eyes are so, so limp, so loose, so relaxed that they just don't want to work, give them a little test to prove to yourself that they don't want to work by trying to open your eyes. Good. Let the mind send that same quality of relaxation from the top of your head to the very tips of your toes. You can feel all your muscles melting and relaxing and letting go of all tension. We are now going to deepen the state of relaxation you are enjoying. In a moment, I'm going to count one to three. On the count of three, open your eyes. Then I'll click my fingers, closing your eyes, doubling the state of hypnosis. One, two, three. Eyes open. Closing your eyes down. Doubling that relaxation. One, two, three. Eyes open. And closing your eyes down. Twice as deep now, doubling that relaxation. And again, one, two, three. Eyes open. And closing your eyes down. Deeper and deeper down. Now we are going to allow your mind to relax as your body is relaxed. In a moment, I'm going to ask you to slowly count backwards from 100, allowing the state to double. I'll show you first, then you do it when I ask. 100, breathe in and out. 99, in and out. 98, in and out. And by the time you've said just a few numbers, you choose just to allow them to relax right out of your mind. Just intend it to happen. Just let it happen. Start counting, please, out loud, backwards now from 100. Doubling your mental relaxation. Your mind can choose to let the numbers go any time now. Just relax them right out of your mind. Great. Now allow yourself to go deeper. I'd like you now to imagine yourself at your favourite beach. The only thing I ask is that you make sure there is some sand at the edge of the water and that the tide is gently coming in. Now I'd like you to write your name or a symbol in the sand at the edge of the water. As the tide comes in, it drifts and flows. As it comes in, it brings in calm. And as it recedes, it takes out any of the last tension. In, bringing calm, and out. In, more calm, and out, going deeper. The tide slowly moves up the beach and soon covers your name or symbol. And with each breath, you're drifting deeper. I'd like you to allow yourself to go even deeper now. So we are going to go from Level A, where you are now, to Level B. To get to Level B, your mind doubles your state of hypnosis. When you get to Level B, you may have a change of sensation. You may have a sense of knowing that you are there, or a bee may just pop into your mind. And now we are going to go down another level, from B to C. Once again, when you get to Level C, you may feel a change of sensation. You may have a sense of knowing that you are there, or even a sea might just pop into your mind. We are going to call this level Peace. Peace. Peace. So any time you want to experience this beautiful space, all you need to do is think the word Peace. And your mind will instantly bring you here. I'm now going to count from 1 to 5. By the time I have got to 5, you will be fully back in the room, and have integrated mind, body, and be grounded for whatever you are doing after this. When I count 5, eyes open, wide awake, safe to drive, feeling amazing. 1, 2, feeling so good energy back into the room, 3, wiggling your fingers and toes, 4, stretching, and 5, eyes open, feeling so good.
