The transcript discusses the concept of kingdom authority in Christianity. It explains that overcomers in Christ Jesus receive kingdom authority, which is promised in Revelation 2.17. Kingdom authority is represented by the hidden manna and is shown through spiritual power, such as casting out devils. Only an overcomer in Christ Jesus can possess this authority. The transcript also emphasizes the importance of preaching the gospel, as it is the power of God for salvation. It concludes with a blessing. Kingdom Authority, Part One, The Gospel of Grace Overcomers in Christ Jesus receive kingdom authority from the Lord. This is what is promised in Revelation 2.17. The hidden manna that the overcomer eats is kingdom authority. The hidden manna points to kingdom authority. In Hebrews 9.4 we see the three elements in the Ark of the Covenant. There are the tables of the law, Aaron's rod which budded, and the golden pot of hidden manna. This pot of manna is the hidden manna and it represents the kingdom. The tables of the law represent Israel. Aaron's rod which budded represents the church. The golden pot of hidden manna represents the kingdom that is coming upon this earth. Hebrews 9.4 which had the golden censer in the Ark of the Covenant overlaid round about with gold wherein was the golden pot that had manna and Aaron's rod that budded in the tables of the covenant. Overcomers eat the hidden manna. This means a Christian overcomer receives kingdom authority from the Lord. There are at least two ways I know of describing kingdom authority. I will discuss kingdom authority in the sense of spiritual power first. Later I will describe kingdom authority in the sense of government administration. Kingdom authority is shown in Matthew 12.28. Jesus said, But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come upon you. Kingdom authority is power from Jesus to cast out devils. Kingdom authority shows that a man serves in the power of the Spirit of God. A man cannot defeat the powers of darkness in his own strength. Instead, a man of God relies on the Spirit of God and the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. We see kingdom authority when Jesus heals people, casts out devils, and preaches the gospel to the poor. We see kingdom authority when the apostles preached the gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit, and people were saved, healed, delivered, and set free. Only an overcomer in Christ Jesus can walk in this authority. Later I will describe more in depth what an overcomer is. Here is another scripture which outlines kingdom authority, Mark 16, 15-20. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe. In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. One quality to look for in an overcomer is that he is focused upon the gospel. He keeps coming back to the gospel over and over. The gospel as outlined by Paul in 1 Corinthians 15, 1-4. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand, by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you, first of all, that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures. This is a concise summary of the gospel that Paul preached, and which Jesus commands us to preach. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, he was buried in a tomb, and he rose again from the dead on the third day. This is repeated by Paul again in Romans chapter 10, verses 9-13. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For in the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scriptures say that whosoever believeth unto him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you listen carefully, you can tell if your preacher is an overcomer. If he never mentions the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, then he is not an overcomer. An overcomer takes his stand upon the finished work of Jesus Christ. This is the sacred ground of victory over sin, self, the world, and the devil. Without this gospel, which is the power of God and His salvation, we don't have anything. A man who does not preach the gospel is wasting his opportunity to impact people for Jesus. There is no moralizing or sermonizing which can set men free. Only the gospel of Jesus Christ can set anyone free. Amen. The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you. And the Lord give you peace.
