Michelle Kopp grew up in a small community in Nova Scotia called Upper Shtiak. She had the privilege of being close to her grandparents and extended family. After graduating high school, she moved to the United States for her education, obtaining a bachelor's degree in elementary education and English. She then pursued a master's degree in counseling. Michelle taught in the United States before deciding to teach in China and now Taiwan. Hi, my name is Michelle Kopp. I grew up in Nova Scotia in a small community called Upper Shtiak. This was a community where everyone knew everybody, and I also had the privilege of growing up near both of my grandparents and all my aunts and uncles from my mom and dad's side. I stayed in Nova Scotia until I graduated from high school, and then I actually moved to the United States to get my degree in education. My bachelor's degree was in elementary education, but also in English as well, and then I decided to stay and get my master's in counseling. After this, I taught in the States for a couple of years, and then I decided that I wanted to be adventurous and head overseas to be a teacher in China first, and now currently I am teaching in Taiwan.
