Michael Potts

I am Professor of Philosophy at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Since I do not read music well, I tried an experiment with ChatGPT in which I asked it to write a symphony based on a story I told it. It created motifs for every aspect of the story and put it together as a symphony. It is an interesting experiment--to see how a machine interprets a story in terms of music.
