This is a slow, deep breathing meditation. We start with mindful breathing to get present and focused on the breath, then continue with belly breathing (aka diaphragmatic breathing), and then combine belly breathing with rhythmic breathing. All three practices are soothing to the nervous system and move us out of fight or flight, the stress response, and into rest and digest, the relaxed response. Combining all three creates a powerful meditation to help you recover from stress and burnout.
