Sister Melissa encourages listeners to trust in God amidst their current situations. She shares the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who remained faithful to God even when faced with a fiery furnace. She reminds listeners that God is with them and will either deliver them from their problems or use them to build character and strength. It is important to trust in God's plans, even if they are different from our own. Sister Melissa emphasizes the power of even a small amount of faith and encourages listeners to keep trusting in God's goodness. The message concludes with a prayer for encouragement and blessings.
Good morning everyone, Sister Melissa here. I hope everyone is having a great and amazing day in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is 10am on June 28th, 2023 and I am here with my cup of coffee, my Bible, ready to get into the Word of God and hear what the Holy Spirit wants to say to every single one of us. In this day and in this season we are currently in for that matter. I will be reading from the book of Daniel chapter 3 starting with verse 16.
And the Word of God says, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God, whom we serve, is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hands, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your God, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.
I am going to go over to the book of Psalms as well in verse 46, verses 10 and 11, which say, Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. I want to encourage someone today and let you know, do not allow your current situation to define the amazing things God wants to do in your life.
Because when we stand firm on our faith and we know who our God is, our God is the God who never leaves us. He doesn't forsake us and He doesn't abandon us for that matter. Our God is with us and whether He chooses to deliver us from the hands of our enemy or allow the situation or permit the situation to run its course, knowing that in the end it will build character, it will build spiritual stamina, it will build something incredible within us, then we need to trust God in His plans because only God knows the outcome to our situation.
The only thing we are required to do is trust and declare that even if our God does not deliver us from our current situation, we must trust and believe that in some shape or form He will deliver us and He will see us through. As the heavens are higher than the earth, the Bible says, so are God's thoughts higher, so are His ways higher. The only thing God wants us to do in our current situation is trust that God has the ability and the capability to see us through our current situation.
I want to let you know that when you put your faith out there, God sees it and He acknowledges it and He knows that even if you have a little faith, that little bit of faith that you have left is more powerful than anything on this earth and it can move mountains and it can set you on the course for your success in the near future. Keep trusting God no matter how it looks like, no matter how you view your current situation, let your soul always declare, it is well.
Because in Jesus Christ, all is well. I pray that this has encouraged you. Until the next time, stay blessed, keep talking about Jesus. Bye-bye for today.
