This is a visual showing a procedure where a receptoscope is used to remove a fibroid from the uterus. The receptoscope goes through the vagina and cervix to reach the fibroid. The surgeon shaves off pieces of the fibroid until it's completely removed, and the pieces are taken out through the vagina. This is a visual of the procedure. As you can see, the receptoscope goes through the vagina, through the cervix, into the uterus. Once the fibroid is identified, the surgeon will then shave partial pieces off the fibroid until the entire fibroid is removed. And then those pieces will be removed through the vagina.
