God does not need men to advance his kingdom, but he wants us to participate out of love. The kingdom of God is God himself present in our midst. Men contribute to the advancement of the kingdom by bringing the gospel to the world and sharing God's love. God never violates human freedom, but those who are saved have a drive to serve. Cooperation is necessary because God wants us to extend his love to others. We contribute to the kingdom by sharing God's blessings and being affected by his grace. Jesus expects us to show love to others. Welcome to our weekly exhortation. Thank you for joining me. My name is Gila Beor. Servant of God. Servant of Jesus. Does God need men to advance his kingdom? God, in his nature, has always wanted men to participate in the destiny of their lives under his power for the glory of his almighty name. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, he uses different characters and even animals to glorify his name. Moreover, we know God under his various attributes. Omniscient God. Omnipotent God. Independent God. Hallelujah. He says, I am that I am. If God is independent God, if he is who he is according to Exodus chapter 3 verse 14, and that his existence doesn't depend on anything outside of himself, why does he need to work with men as described in 1 Corinthians chapter 3? Praise the Lord. If we say that God needs our cooperation to ensure the existence of his kingdom, then obviously, he does not need our cooperation. If this need for collaboration refers strictly to a vital need, then God does not need those who believe in him to participate in the advancement of his kingdom. In other words, God can do whatever he wants without assistance. He is autonomous. Everything is made in him and through him. It is him who is the author of everything. See, the kingdom of God is really God himself who makes himself present in our midst and reign through us. When he was creating heaven and earth, we were not there. If this is the case, why is it important for God to associate the believers with his work? Well, I would say it is because of his love. The scriptures tell us that God loves us and desires our love. 1 John chapter 3 verse 1. If it is true that God desires our love, can't we say that, in a sense, God needs to see this love establish itself in the heart of men toward him? God wants to associate us with the establishment of his kingdom, not because he cannot do it alone, but because God, in his very nature, is love. And love is not selfish. God regards men with high esteem and gives them his attention. You know, we are with God one spirit so that we may assist others to share in divine and eternal life. In fact, the contribution of men to the advancement of the kingdom of God consists in bringing the gospel to the world in order to win souls to God, according to the talent and gifts the Holy Spirit gave us. The word of God teaches us that there is an affinity between the divine word and the heart of men. It is an intimate relationship that we have with God, and that relationship has the power to produce spiritual fruits. You know, the work of regeneration and sanctification cannot be accomplished outside of that relationship. This is how we must understand the question we are dealing with. It is for the sake of this love that Jesus sent us to make disciples of all nations and teach them thereby actively contributing to the advancement of his kingdom. That is, the will of God is to have us play a major part in our process of salvation and in that of others. He wants us to be his channel of blessings to others. In a nutshell, it is by realizing how much God loves us that it becomes easy to understand why he associates his children with his wife. Praise the Lord! When Jesus was ministering on earth, he was the shepherd who searches for the lost soul. He is light shown in the world since he himself is light. But since he ascended to heaven and sat at the right of his Father, he still shines in the world, but this time through us, through his church. It is the church that Jesus uses to find those who are lost today. Let's understand that when God finds us and we are saved, it doesn't end there. When we are regenerated, we have a spiritual function to fulfill just as the coin has the function of facilitating exchange of material goods. And this spiritual function is that of extending the kingdom of God by radiating divine love to those with whom you make contact. Now, all that we have just said so far concerns all those who have been saved from the power of sin and washed by the blood of Jesus. God's grace always takes into account the will of man. God never violates human freedom as far as our contribution to his kingdom is concerned. Those who live with eternity in view have a powerful drive to serve, to work, to do something for the kingdom. You don't have to tell them to be active because the joy that they have in Jesus is imposed on them. Friend, have you received Jesus? Are you working in the field of God? Or you are thinking within your heart that this is not your business? That you were saved already? Are you thankful for what God did for you? Do you know that the call of God to you is a call to serve as well? In any case, God has nothing to lose if you choose not to serve him. Whatever happens, remember what Jesus says. And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffered violence and the violence took it by force. Matthew chapter 11 verse 12. Hallelujah! You give the healing and grace our hearts always hunger for. I would like to conclude this message. You know, you and I contribute to the advancement of the kingdom when we extend the blessing of God to others by sharing his word. We then become the channel of God's blessing to others. Human will is necessary for the advancement of the kingdom of God but it is not vital. This means that God is able to take us straight into his kingdom the day he saves us. But that is not what he did. Because if he did it, who is going to take the gospel to the four corners of the world? If the apostle Paul did not do what he did, how would you and I see the saving light? That is why the cooperation of man is necessary. You know, God operates according to the principle of reciprocity. It is he who first loves man by giving them salvation. Isn't it? He wants man to extend that love to others as well. The principle is that God saves. In turn, the believer has to show that he has been affected by God's grace. Like a lost coin in the dust which has been found and cleaned, the believer must be busy working on the things of God after being washed by the blood of the Lamb. Because God saves man and shows them his grace, they should in turn do to others. This is what the Lord Jesus told the unforgiving servants in Matthew 18. Matthew 18, verse 21 to 35. I cancel your huge debts because you beg me to. Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servants just as I have on you? Praise the Lord! Jesus was expecting that servants to show love to others. But unfortunately, instead of love, he showed hatred. His behavior was not the kind that can contribute to the advancement of the kingdom of God. And God didn't appreciate that. And as a result, his grace was retrieved from him. Hallelujah! Well, friends, this is the end of this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Please, feel free to leave your comments. If God wills it, I will be here again next Sunday. Shalom. you
