This brief work was composed as an in-kind donation for a WUTC-FM fund-raiser in Chattanooga, TN. I was in the studio during a pledge drive, and offered a listener challenge to give $1,000 to the station, and in return i would compose a short work for the donor. The family of Dr. Samuel S. Binder, a beloved physician and talented amateur cellist, gave the money. The story of Dr. Binder's work and life (including a passion for deep-sea fishing, and for art) inspired this lyrical work.
