Once in the middle of the jungle, a tigrillo and several little mice lived together. The tigrillo thought he was the great boss and commanded everyone in a fierce and aggressive manner. One day, the tigrillo, who was sleeping with his pants loose, woke up very angry because the little mice had bothered him while trying to catch the flies flying around. The mice said, "Forgive us, we didn't do it on purpose. Let us go and we will always remember your kindness, your good treatment." The tigrillo dismissed the mice's idea and raised his paw to shoo them away. Some time later, the mice heard the tigrillo roaring furiously. They went to see him and found him trapped in a net. Using their small teeth and remembering the tigrillo's good treatment, they started to free him. They gnawed and gnawed at the ropes until they finally managed to set him free. El Tigrillo y el Ratón Una vez en medio del monte vivían juntos un tigrillo y varios ratoncitos. El tigrillo se creía el gran jefe, mandaba a todo el mundo de manera gocera y feroz. Un día el tigrillo, que dormía en pantal suelta, se despertó enojadísimo porque le había molestado los ratoncitos al tratar de atrapar a las moscas que daban vueltas por ahí. —Perdóname, —dijeron los ratoncillos, —no lo hicimos a propósito. Déjenos ir y siempre recordaremos tu bondad, tu buen trato. Al tigrillo le dedictó la idea de los ratones. —¡Qué tonta idea tienen! —dijo, y levantó la garra para que se fuera. Algún tiempo después los ratones escucharon al tigrillo rugir furiosamente. Fueron a verlo y lo encontraron preso dentro de una red. Con sus pequeños dientes y recordando el buen trato del tigrillo, empezaron a liberarlo. Roían y roían las cuerdas hasta que por fin lograron liberarlo.
